I really wish someone other than Jimmy Fallon was hosting.
Awesome opener.
I missed it. :( I just caught the end because we were watching the red carpet on time delay and had totally forgotten to tape the Emmy's. Oh well, I'm sure it will be online in a few minutes...
I'll try to update the first post with a list of winners as they go.
I'm thinking Modern Family will take home quite a few tonight.
I heart Jim Parsons :D
Jane Lynch wins an Emmy? Shocking!! EDIT: This is her first Emmy? That actually is shocking.
Jane Lynch wins an Emmy? Shocking!! EDIT: This is her first Emmy? That actually is shocking.
I'm very shocked she's never won one before either. The Buddhist line was somewhat funny.
I am really pulling for Jim Parsons to win this year, although I'm surprised Steve Carell hasn't won anything for his work on The Office.
As long as Alec Baldwin doesn't win I'll be okay.
I'm hoping True Blood and Lost pick up some awards!
I'm hoping True Blood and Lost pick up some awards!
I'm hoping Lost picks some up as well :)
4th Emmy win for Edie Falco? I've never heard of her show...guess I should start paying attention. The look on her face was pretty priceless though, haha.
I would have bet money on Tina Fey. Reality tv time...
Where's Jersey Shore? :p
Yeah, I don't consider Nurse Jackie a comedy. It has funny bits but it's a drama. I think they just gave it to her because they are always amazed when someone they love in a drama like The Sopranos can switch over to something less dramatic. Boo.
Oh ****,I spoke too soon!
I'm pulling for Amazing Race!
"I don’t go tanning anymore because Obama put a 10% tax on tanning. McCain would never put a 10% tax on tanning. Because he’s pale and would probably want to be tan."
Whaaaat? Top Chef over Amazing Race? At least they didn't give it to American Idol with they awful year they had.
Hasn't Amazing Race won the past 7 years??? Or something like that...
Isn't this the first time in...forever...that TAR hasn't won? I thought they were going on 6 or 7 straight (or is that another category?)
Yup TAR was a 7 time winner. I don't think we've had a single repeat winner so far! That's pretty cool.
That really makes me happy that there have been no repeat winners.
Finally Top Chef wins an Emmy
I was kind of hoping Lost would win the Emmy for writing...oh well.
I think Lead Actor in a Drama was really the hardest to choose from. They were all amazing but I kind of wish they would spread the love a little even though Cranston was beyond amazing this year.
I still swear that Juliette Binoche and Julia Ormond are the same person playing a big joke on us. I always confuse them.
I've only semi been paying attention since they finished with Drama. This is what I like to call the boring part of the Emmy's :)
I'm so sad Glee didn't win :(
