Well I think that was a pretty good show. A lot of surprises and only a few repeats. They really should have killed the twitter thing, it was too forced. Now onto Mad Men!
I'm also really shocked this sucker ran on time.

I'm still SUPER PISSED Glee didn't win >:-(....that show truly inspires me to fight for what I want. I guess it would have won inspiring show :-(....it just proved what one critic said. The older voters wouldn't get Glee.
I'm glad Glee didn't win big - sorry Glee fans. The show has a super-thin premise that got old for me quick. I did give it a chance! I tried! I like Lynch, but her work in the Guest movies and other comedic supporting spots is way more interesting than Sue Sylvestor. Probably the most deserved win is Edie Falco - she's amazing in Nurse Jackie. I'm glad Collette won last year, but also glad Falco took it this time around. I really need to see Modern Family.
I really need to see Modern Family.
OMG if you haven't seen it, YES YOU SHOULD. I LOVE that show. It is SO good, SO funny. And I'm really glad they won for best comedy and Eric Stonestreet's win was also well-deserved. I've been seriously counting the days until September 22nd for the new season to start, and I'll definitely be buying Season 1 when it comes out on DVD just to see extras and behind the scenes. Everyone on this show is amazing.

I was mostly just annoyed that Community, Parks & Rec or Party Down weren't even nominated while 30 Rock and The Office were after their poor seasons. Spread the love Emmy's! Spread the love! Those 3 were much much better than 30 Rock or Office any week. I wasn't really happy with Edie Falco's win mostly because I don't consider Nurse Jackie a comedy. It may be a comedy when you compare it to her last role in The Sopranos but even she said she wasn't funny during her acceptance speech. I love her and wouldn't mind her winning for drama just not for comedy. You definitely need to see Modern Family! You have a little less than a month to catch up before the new season and it's definitely possible. The episode Eric Stonestreet submitted called "Fizbo the Clown" is ah-ma-zing. I'm so glad he won, he's my favorite part of that show. I also wish that someone else had won for Best Actor in a Drama besides Cranston and that Breaking Bad had won for Best Drama instead of Mad Men. The Leading Male category was so stacked and it was the last chance for some to come away with an award when he had already won twice. I still like Mad Men better than Breaking Bad just because it is more my cup of tea but I can't deny that Breaking Bad had the best season ever. Plus they won't be eligible next year for an Emmy because their show is going to air too late. All around though there were a ton of surprises and very little repeats which is pretty much all you can ask for in an awards show.
