Road Rules (Generic Thread)

Are you BMP? No [strike]your[/strike] you're not so when they decide its the right time to bring Road Rules back they will. I'm talking about classic Road Rules, seasons 1-8.

And the reason why they changed the format after Semester at Sea was because it got low ratings. Also, production clearly ran out of good ideas, that was evident with Extreme and Viewers Revenge.

People want the old format back that's what they were complaining about. Yeah Road Rules lacks parties, drunk people, and fights like Real World but one more chance or try should do it.

I want Road Rules back just as much as any Superfan, but it ain't coming back.

How can you call it Road Rules "Xtreme"? Like Road Rules didn't already do extreme stuff (starting with Maximum Velocity, totally lame). The effort put into the seasons 1-12 wasn't the same effort put into season 13. They gave Road Rules the cold shoulder, it marked the end of Road Rules, it was surprising that they brought it back in 2007.

Semester at Sea was the first season that got bad ratings, and I think the only reason that was was because they were on a ship and not in a RV. Semester at Sea was actually a really good season (thanks to the girls, the guys added nothing). Favorite Season: South Pacific (Latin America would be second for me) Favorite Cast: Down Under Favorite Male cast member: Dan (Northern Trail) Favorite Female cast member: Veronica (Semester at Sea) Favorite Mission: The final mission on Latin America where they had to go to that island and rescue someone while escaping from enemies (I explained it badly but it was really cool) Favorite Replacement: Chris (South Pacific)- He was so cute Favorite RV: I never really noticed them Favorite Location: South Pacific (New Zealand in particular) Favorite hookup: Dave and Mary Beth (South Pacific). Tina hitting on Dave was pretty funny to watch. I wish Mary Beth would have done a challenge! I miss Road Rules. I wish they would just have a marathon of old seasons, like they used to do before the season premier.

Season 1 and Latin America(good cast, locations, moments, and music) were also really good seasons.....and the cast of season 2 had the best "chemistry" in my opinion, along with Down Under. If you missed out on all the older seasons(1-8), I feel sorry for you.

Favorite Replacement: Tina (South Pacific) Favorite RV: South Pacific Favorite Location: Semester at Sea for going to all the different countries Favorite hookup: Laterrian and Katharine. I found it interesting when LT got naked for one of their missions and James said "that was the biggest thing, I've ever seen" Favorite fight: Veronica vs. Ayanna "The word b**** is too nice for you!" but Gladys and Abe was also entertaining. And all because of Susie... haha Favorite moment: Veronica meeting her family in Cuba Favorite Final Mission: To be honest, I don't think I remember any final missions. =/

I miss Road Rules, like Campus Crawl and South Pacific were such good seasons. I mean I haven't seen the ones before that so maybe they aren't that good in comparison. But Viewer's Revenge was absolutely awful, besides having a cast that was not likable. If you're gonna have a Freshmeat challenge, why not have 2 seasons of Road Rules? Or they could alternate between challenges and road rules. Not every mission has to be so crazy about swinging upside down and doing **** like that. I thought the mission in South Pacific where they had to defeat the strong warrior or the one in Campus Crawl where they had to bungee jump at the school were pretty cool and they didnt seem that expensive either. The warrior mission had to be real cheap - if money is the issue here. Plus, RR would mean a guaranteed break from seeing Evan and Kenny.

Only ones who are missing are Patrick, Kina, & Derrick, but I don't think Derrick & Kina have Facebooks.

If I remember correctly, Patrick and Jillian really didn't get along after the show ended.

I'm surprised Paula isn't friends with him. I feel like Paula adds every castmember from the shows that have a FB.

I don't exactly remember but their were quite a variety. They were in Cuba at one point I remember that. Their missions were very cultural. They didn't go to like Japan and do a relay race. They went to Japan and recorded an anime cartoon, which is very popular over their.
