Guys, chill out... It's one person they've added! Sure I agree, they shouldn't add people from a show that only lasted a week, but it's not the end of the world... You guys are going way out of line with the whole "OMG They're Going To Add Jersey Shore People!". For all we know this Camila chick isn't actually in it and Molds made a mistake (or is even making a joke out of it), and even if it's true it's not the end of the world... It's just one person (maybe 3 considering the 2 mystery guys). Just relax for a few days, wait till the show premieres, and then judge.
Well, I was saying it was good to see new faces on these challenges.. But not this new! Haha, oh well. When I first saw this, I was like ***? Then I thought it was stupid, but now I'm laughing at it. But I'll tune in, give it all a chance, because there's other people on this challenge I'd like to see, and see how it plays out for me. But from the video Molds provided.. Ehh, she seems "dramatic"? But then again, I wasn't in her situation (or don't even know it for that matter) so I'm not gonna judge. Just hope she's not like that on this challenge.

I agree with the overall sentiment here (with the exception of a few), that this casting decision is not only completely ridiculous, but also the final nail in the coffin for a struggling franchise. Just like going to ANOTHER repeat city for The Real World (New Orleans...) BMP is at the tail end of their contracts for both of these shows, and yet they are running out of ideas ?! Stick a fork in this series, kids... *shakes head*

BMP made a really, really, really stupid decision here. It baffles me how they built this franchise as a gameshow reserved for people who appeared on Road Rules and Real World, and now it's basically become a free for all buffet for anyone who acts like a d-bag on television. Fresh Meaters at least have some excuse, since their injection into The Challenges was at least planned. This Camilla chick was just a last desperate move by a production co. that already knows its series is going down the gutter. I mean, what was the Spring Break Challenge if not a backwater version of Fresh Meat?? This is a new time low...
As long as there's still people I know, I'll continue to watch. I watched the spring break challenge cause I have no life :p...when I saw the name "Camila" I was annoyed, but I honestly know more about her than Cara Maria. People can say "she's fresh meat so it's acceptable", but Camila's had more screen time and peformed more than Cara Maria. I don't like when they bring in random people (I include Fresh Meat in this), but they have a hard time getting RR/RW alumni to compete. So I, and every other fan, will continue to watch.
Oh my God... Out of everyone from the Spring Break Challenge, they just HAVE to choose this over-reacting idiot. She was incredibly annoying throughout the whole week she was on TV.
I've been watching the real world since well probably season 2, and I've been browsing these forums for spoilers for a bit now. Honestly, I've never seen this spring break challenge, but aren't you guys overreacting a bit? I mean when they added fresh meat and just started throwing new people into the mix that had never been a part of the cast of the real world (or road rules rip) well that's when you should have been outraged. Isn't this the same thing? Believe me I thought I'd never watch the show again when they added fresh meat. But we wouldn't have Kenny or Evan or any of these other entertaining sob's so come on, relax a bit. And as a side note, man I saw someone say "what are they gonna do add jersey shore guys to the challenge next time??!!" Man that would be freakin' hilarious! Don't argue, you know it would be.
And as a side note, man I saw someone say "what are they gonna do add jersey shore guys to the challenge next time??!!" Man that would be freakin' hilarious! Don't argue, you know it would be.
The "practical" always intrudes... Cast members for the challenges are under contract to BMP while those on Jersey Shore are under contract to 495 Productions. There are rights issues involved and 495 would not want to give up their hot talent to BMP without just compensation/profit sharing in perpetuity. Rival cats fighting over one small bowl of milk...

Ok, I have already grown tired of this debate, its getting pretty sickening. So I'm going to post one last time on this thread, but with rules: 1. Read every sentence CAREFULLY, please. 2. Please do not attack me personally, or quote this post in your post. 3. Do not provoke me, I really want to be done with this thread. Like I have said before, I am almost positive that the Most Memorable Player portion of the SBC had a greater part in the grand scheme of things during the SBC. It was quite obvious that they were going to be using those players in the future Challenges. I am sorry if you did not watch the SBC, you missed out on an actually decent show. (C'mon, Dustin vs. Javon in Pole Wrestle was probably my favorite elimination in television history, for reals.) I highly doubt that BMP would ever use the bit players in that show, which again, I'm sure that the Most Memorable Player(s) will be the only people that will be used on the Challenges. And the most important message of all: Please Relax! It really is not the end of the world, just watch the show, give it a chance. Most of you are mad that a "newbie" got cast instead of someone you've "seen" before, which we cant always get what we want. Its the same as any other season, where someone you dont like gets cast over someone you do like. But, you still watch. So, just please give the show a chance, and if you find that one single person has completely ruined your show for all eternity and that there is just no coming out of the black hole that is a ****** television show, then by all means stop watching. But, for now: Breathe. Thanks to whoever respectfully disagreed with me a few pages back, that was nice. (Sorry I dont remember who you were). These are my opinions, and I'm very sorry if you disagree with them... P.S. Most of us need to re-read the rules of this thread anyway, because this conversation needs to move to generic thread. Or better yet, disappear.

Don't argue, you know it would be.
People on this board have been outraged for a long while, actually. Looking at this Camila chick, I can honestly say that her antics on her short 3 minute clip was so overdramatized and intentionally wh*ring for camera time (as if this show doesn't already have enough of that). I've yet to come across anyone who thinks she was entertaining during her...week of fame. They had plenty of other casting choices regarding females. They had no excuse to resort to using someone who isn't even a part of the show. "What's the big deeeeeeal, you guys?" isn't a viable argument to explain such an illogical casting decision. Apparently, they don't have standards anymore when it comes to casting for these things. You could expect the same apathy from viewers when the rating plummet even further.
I'm in the boat with Klounsnax and a few others... I don't like any of the girls from RW or the Challenges anyway generally (except Laurel and Theresa), so she's going to be a breath of fresh air for me. It's unfortunate she didn't stick around long enough to kick Emily's ***. I don't really care if they stop casting RW people for the Challenges entirely and keep the 2 shows separate, assuming the show is still on the air in the future. The premise of the Challenge as a show is interesting enough that I'll watch it until I die, no matter what tweaks they make to the format. It also gives us "boring" people who wouldn't make it through Round 1 of BMP casting for RW some hope that we could do a Challenge some day in the future.

Whow camila has fans? Haha! That's ridiculous. I think I'm more angry that they cast a Wanabe instead of real worlders that would have liked to do this challenge. Oh well at least this chick didn't win and maybe BMP will see that it was a terrible idea and not cast her again. I also like the idea of 3 teams, however, I can see there being 16 male and female competitors and we are missing 3 people.
Hopefully your source is right and this is just a huge misunderstanding because I think this would be a major casting failure.
Hopefully your source is right and this is just a huge misunderstanding because I think this would be a major casting failure.
It's a major casting failure.
If you were a true lover of the show, you wouldve watch the SBC, even though it was obviously going to be a cheesy way to hold us over until FMII. And before someone goes into cardiac arrest, I'm sure the only SBC kids that will be cast are going to be the Most Memorable Players. Whilst watching the SBC, I even said (when they showed the MMP) that those kids are gonna be on the real challenges soon.
False. I have watched a lot of seasons of the Challenge, and I did not even waste my time with the SBC. What would be the point of watching alumni be "coaches" (i.e., stand around and not do anything) for a bunch of drunk college kids we don't know redoing a bunch of challenges we've already seen? And it's not like I expected to see any of them ever again... I'm interested to see the alumni's reaction to her. If it bothers me that they casted someone like Camila when there were other people who have actually been on a season who expressed interest in being on the challenge, I'd like to see how they feel.
P.S. Most of us need to re-read the rules of this thread anyway, because this conversation needs to move to generic thread. Or better yet, disappear.
Unfortunately it can't be moved to the generic thread, as the addition of Camila classifies as a spoiler, and there are some people here who prefer to be unspoiled about the season. I don't think it needs to disappear either. I know that BMP checks these boards out. I'd like them to read how much a majority of the viewers strongly disagree with this decision. Plus, I'd rather have the discussion clog up this thread than another one.
I just have to LOL at this turn of events. I am no television executive, but as a casual TV viewer who talks a lot of TV with other casual viewers, I can say that this is going to fail. This continues the trend of fail in recent years, but this will seal the deal. A few years ago, when FM people joined, some of my friends would watch the Challenge and literally not know who half the cast was (the challenges following FM, not the first FM challenge). As a result, they turned the channel. That being said, the fact that a good portion of this cast comes from Real World Cancun and DC, Fresh Meat II, and a Spring Break Challenge (?!) will result in even lower ratings. I don't know the ratings for the SBC, but the last two seasons of the Real World and the past challenge have been the lowest rated shows in the franchise history. I will be SHOCKED if either series is renewed past its current contract. Viewers have moved on from this type of TV. Good riddance to it, it sucks.
Wow. I honestly don't know what I think about this. I'm keeping an open mind though since we don't really know what the format of the challenge is. I doubt that Camilla and these other Spring Break challengers are going to help much though. I don't understand why they would bring these people on a challenge instead of someone like Scott who is a new face and has shown intrest in participating. I'm sure there are others who would be willing to go as well. Like some others I watched the Spring Break Challenge and I have no idea who this girl is. I didn't watch it for them, I watched to see Kenny and Landon.

Molds how many more eliminations do you think there will be?
Molds how many more eliminations do you think there will be?
Probably one. Maybe two.
OMG...my source & half of 4 seasons of cast members thought the missing competitor was someone else!
Is it possible that your source is correct and the person they thought was the missing competitor is in this challenge along with Camila.

I hope there are 2 more eliminations and the unknown guys (if they are spring break people) and cara Maria and theresa are eliminated. That would mean all real world and road rulers in the final!
Maybe BMP is trying to trick us or something? Are they really this stupid that they would do that? I know many people have showed interest on doing another challenge. To name a few:Kendall,Brynn,Raquel,Stephen(Denver)
Wait people were actually exited about this cast? Anyway, I watched the Spring Break challenge and do not remember anything or anyone from it, except that there were alot of people. I do not understand the decision to cast her, does this mean the next challenge could feature 10 or more people from the spring break challenge. Ridiculous, but anything seems possible at this point. Furthermore, this discussion I feel should not be in the speculation thread and likely should be in the cast member thread, but maybe I am wrong
Yes, despite what you may believe people actually DID IN FACT like this cast/
Its not like they are asking people from a shot at love, jersey shore, or next, Now that would be trash.
LOL. No it wouldn't. NeXt is awesome thank you very much, lol. I id, I kid
I've been watching the real world since well probably season 2, and I've been browsing these forums for spoilers for a bit now. Honestly, I've never seen this spring break challenge, but aren't you guys overreacting a bit?
As usual. But I'm not surprised. They should be excited that they aren't casting the same people over and over again instead of that. But I do agree that Camila's voice can get annoying.
Wow...just wow. I'm not by any means a die hard fan of RW, I just like watching challenges. Even then, I think this is a little ridiculous. So Fresh Meat kids didn't have an original season...but at least they had Fresh Meat, when the whole point was to bring in new people. Seems to me like everyone refused the invite for this show so they could be on the next, which they all want to be the Duel 3. BMP got desperate, found someone else just as desperate to have her week of "fame" extended a little longer, and voila. We got Camilla. I really can't wait to see this season, just to see the cast's reaction to her.

Well she lasted pretty far in the game and she wasn't a great competitor on SBC so they obviously didn't mind much, she probably hooked up with bananas.:/
Well she lasted pretty far in the game and she wasn't a great competitor on SBC so they obviously didn't mind much, she probably hooked up with bananas.:/
What makes you think that?
Its not like they are asking people from a shot at love, jersey shore, or next, Now that would be trash.
Is it sad that I would prefer that casting decision over this Camila chic? At least people actually watched those shows and would know who some of the memorable people from them are.

Well all the rookies of this challenge went home early, even the rookies that were friends with the veterans, but this girl, who only knew Paula, or knew of Paula before this, didnt come with any friends. She wasnt a great competitor so obviously her physical strength and her abundance of friends didnt get her far in the game, someone had to get her further in the game and when a guy in charge is hooking up with a girl, that girl stays around for a while it seems. And it couldnt be Brad, Derrick, or Tyler. And Dunbar never has control in these challenges.
Theresa :D Lol,is everyone giving up on this challenge now that Camila is on it?
Theresa :D Lol,is everyone giving up on this challenge now that Camila is on it?
Probably not, I'd say the majority of the people that are this into the challenges that they write and look on this site will keep watching for a while.
