And then I go to the cast list and my emotions just change completely.

There's no ******* way that a spring break challenge kid is on this thing. That doesn't count as a season. I don't don't believe it to be honest. I read the stuff and it seems legit but how could BMP even this this would be a good idea? This is so **** weird. I'm expecting that maybe the other two unknown guys are MTV challengers if Camila is infact there? BMP you are ******* up.
I was just thinking...nobody on the show other than Paula and TJ will have any clue who this girl even is (except for the probable male spring break challengers as yet to be determined)! None of the other castmembers from Spring Break Challenge are on this, and I doubt ANY of the castmembers actually watched that show.
Not that I necessarily want this, but if they're just going to pull some kid who was a fan of the show and competed for an hour a day during their trip what's to stop them from using some of the pit crew kids. We at least got to know people like Ivory, Jerry, and Kristen. How is it any different?
Wow is pretty much all I can say. I was a little confused at first, but I do like the idea of three teams, but having people like Camila on there...not so much thrilled on that one!!!
***? I don't post on this site too often because I don't like to feed into the negativity that stems from the increasingly dreadful RW/RR/FM/(What can we even call these things anymore?) Challenge. I am a huge fan of the Challenges and have been for quite some time now, so I generally like to remain optimistic about the Challenge no matter how bad things look, but this is just too much.
How can MTV/BMP/anyone with half a brain think that it would be even a remotely good idea to cast a complete nobody from the Spring Break Wannabe-Challenge for an actual Challenge? I mean, really! What, like the ratings for that thing were high?! HA! I could understand this casting choice if the ratings for that Spring Break thing were significantly higher than recent Challenges, but I am sure that was not the case! That Spring Break thing in my eyes wasn't supposed to be an official Challenge. It was a complete Joke! I mean, the alumni from actual Challenges had no say in their fate--it was up to the random people to keep them in the competition! Please tell me I am asleep and this is all just a dream (or should I say, nightmare).
What were those nimrods at BMP thinking? This won't do anything good for the series; the ratings will suffer because no one will know who a handful of the cast is. We can all kiss this show goodbye... :(
I am not really all that mad, I just think its funny. But overall, I am pretty apathetic about the "purity" of the show. But at this point they might as well start putting Jersey Shore kids on and other MTV reality.

Most people didn't watch the SPC. It was on for a week at 8pm. I didn't watch it. I have no clue who this chick is. BMP/MTV really screwed themselves over.
Now we're going to have to watch ********* compete for the spotlight. I can already see her being a camera hog. Umm Hello, no one likes you and doesn't want you on the show (other than BMP/MTV for some odd and obviously stupid/selfish reasons).
You know it's bad when people actually start to defend FM kids. Even the FM kids haven't earned a real spot. But they are definitely more worthy of being on a challenge then this nobody!
Remember on the Island when Rachel asked Kenny "And what season were you on?"
Cancel the show before it starts!

You're right. Even Ivory or Kristen would have made a better casting choice; I'm sure more people know who they are than the unknown Camila.

I didnt even know that there was a Spring Break Challenge until I saw it on wikipedia, and I didnt remember Camilla when her name showed up on the cast list.
I'm just wondering what was going on through the head of John Murray and his casting crew when they thought of putting the SBC kids on the show? why would they think that fans would want to see them or even remember them when the show was basically set up to see your favorite Real World and Road Rules cast members come back and compete after their show.
I could name several women that [I]I think[/I] would have done this show had they been invited and any of them would have been better than this girl.
Carley, Sydney, Sandy, Callie, Ashley, Jonna, Jasmine, Kimberly, Johanna, Rachel (RW), Diem, Casey, Back to New Orleans girls, Kristen, Ivory, Angel, Colie...just to name a few.

But, I loved the SBC and I thought Camila was completely ridiculous, and at least they picked one of the MVP's of the episode to be on the challenge, instead of picking someone who an even more minor role in the SBC such as Amie AKA B-Nada. I think Camila will do great on the challenge, and Im very excited to see how this challenge turns out. The cast is shaping up to be one of the best yet, and instead of doubting your favorite show, I would start showing how great it is, so that other people want to tune in. I sure as **** dont want this show to be cancelled and I sure as **** would never ***** about it either.

You're completely right, as dumb as it is the challenges have not been the same for a while. This should not all of a sudden make somebody change their mind. Also, all the complaining about fresh meat and such is really played out, it may not be ideal but we're all still watching and talking about it. I read the message boards too of the people that are new watchers and they seem to love these people.

New watchers are the people who haven't seen seasons of the Real World earlier than Vegas at best and who may never have seen an episode of Road Rules. They don't really know the old cast so there is no reason to be upset about not seeing them. Of course they enjoy the newer kids and the FMers, those are the people they probably grew up watching.

Exactly, and that's the majority of the viewers. People like us who have watched lots of seasons and look in depth into everything are very rare. There's obviously people that love them if they keep asking them back. You'd be surprised, at the reunion the people were going crazy for kenny.
