I hate seeing this happen. I'm hoping that these people go out with a bang because there's nothing more boring than watching one team dominate. I know we don't know if it's rooks vs vets but it seems like it's leaning that way.
That'd be cool if they did something like Fresh meat + G3.
One of the older casst members (Vets) paired with one of the newer challengers (Rookies).
Meh, even though that probably won't happen :(
Does anyone know exactly what day or around what day filming started?
My guess was Friday, May 28.

I know that it's not. I just said that yesterday.

Thank you for giving me hope. The way that is was looking, I thought we were in for a repeat of Gauntlet 3. Even if its not Rooks vs Vets, it's still disheartening to see so many fresh faces leave early. I know it has become the "challenge standard" now, but it didn't use to always be that way.
I wonder if there has been much house drama, you would think so with people like Tyler, JD and Ayiiia in there.
Not if they're all gone. Well maybe they can give us an explosive first two episodes. :)
The truth is when you're in a house with 20-30 people, some of the louder cast members (Tyler, JD, Ayiiia, Katie etc...) aren't always that loud or crazy because they can hang out with different groups/alliances. When they are in a house with 6-7 different people the dynamics are much different, unless they come into the challenge house with a grudge with someone.

Sorry I don't read all your post. My fault.
It will be interesting to see if it's veteran players taking out all these rookies, or are there rookies that are proving themselves as strong competitors by taking out their fellow rookies?
Some of them are like Rookies, even if they are considered Vets. I feel like Tyler, Melinda, Shavoun and Sarah are all still rookies. I know they have been on 2 challenges, but they all left early on atleast one of their challenges. But Maybe the "Real" rookies (Dan, Laurel, Brandon, Cara Maria, etc...) are taking out there fellow rookies.
[strike]So is this challenge rookies vs vets? Hahaha justtttt kiddinggg.[/strike]
I kinda wanna see a Laurel vs. Emily elimination. I liked laurel throughout fresh meat but she got real cocky on the reunion show. She is a strong competitor but I think Emily could prove herself to be really strong too, so I'm excited for her this season.

I too would love to see a Laurel vs Emily elimination round, something physical where larger people dominate naturally. I have a feeling they will be 2 of the final competitors though.

Ayiiia is not a **** stirrer. Tyler and JD are.

I can see the possibility of a major veteran alliance that includes (Johnny, Derrick, Brad, Katie, Tori, Jenn, Paula, Tyler (?), Dunbar, and yes Laurel) working together to assure themselves a spot in the finals or close to it, which may explain the brash departure of so many not so keen first timers. I also speculate that the face off elimination element is still in tow, otherwise someone like Ty would be gone by now imo. I actually think could be a very strong player & maybe feared by a "power alliance"
I still think that MTV/BMP decided to make this a survivor type challenge, where they start in teams and then end as individuals with a small % of winners. A derivative of this format have proven successful for most competitive reality shows including Survivor, Big Brother, ILM, The Biggest Loser, etc.
Molds 13, colie's mon, v1man - can you tell me if I am in Pluto on this format speculation, or just waaayyy in the bleachers, or if I am in the ballpark.

Seriously?
You can NOT discuss:
1. Anything not related to this Spring challenge (i.e. "But Tori did so well in G3!!!!!!!")
2. Your personal opinions of the cast members (that is for the generic thread)
3. What kind of challenge you think this is
4. Who you think the missing male is, or ask if we have figured it out yet.
5. Actual spoilers (those need to be PM'd to me or another moderator and there MUST be a screen shot or it will not be posted)

I feel like some of you guys think we actually know everything, and that we are just purposely keeping the details from you.
As Bacchus said in another thread...when we know, you will know.

If they ever do that it'll turnout like The Island 2.0
With the current list, it's virtually impossible to draw any conclusions. All the "weak" players are all going. It could very well be that everyone is still in that "lets vote off the weak" phase that use to happen before FMII.
I think the biggest sign of whether there is an alliance or not will be when or if Paula gets voted off. If you see her stay around longer than some of the other girls than that's a sign there is an alliance in my opinion.
But right now everyone you though who wouldn't do well is going home first.

Paula and Jenn are the canaries in the coal mine?
I don't think the elimination order so far is that surprising: mostly Cancun and FM2 members (ie. rookies first). Not that unusual if you ask me *shrug*
I just want to say that girl Emily from the last real world season will KILL it. She looks like an amazon and so athletic. I wouldn't be surprised if Her and Laurel were top girls and she'd be one newbie to make it to the end.
Emily does seem good for the game and a tough competitor. I remember how rough she got when she was fooling around with Ty. Whatever the format is, any team would be lucky to have her, if there are indeed teams. Besides rough housing she seemed pretty laid-back, so maybe if she is put in an elimination round she might choke. Appearances are decieving in this game!
