The first games are tomorrow (South Africa-Mexico at 4:00pm and Uruguay-France at 8:30pm) and the good thing for those who like to watch the games live is that South Africa is only 6 hours ahead of the East coast. USA-England is Saturday at 2:30 ET.
[strike]Mexico Goona take it(hopefully) !!![/strike] Hopefully Mexico is gonna take it!!!
Viva mexico cab**nes!!

I'm rooting for Brazil. And the good 'ole Estados Unidos of course. :D

Tomorrow... Argentina... FTW USA...FTW
I'm personally cheering on Chile. Though my darkhorse is Algeria.
I am rooting for USA (my homeland) & Brazil (I've always liked Brazil :P)
Well, at least we have faith in our team!
Do you think the US England game will be able to trump the ratings set by Fresh Meat 2?
Do you think the US England game will be able to trump the ratings set by Fresh Meat 2?
Oh man, I dunno. Could be difficult... Are you talking about a single episode, or a cumulative season total? :)
These horn things are really starting to get on my nerves. I can't imagine having to hear them in the stadium for the whole game. I might have to mute the game soon...
DEMPSEY!!!
These horn things are really starting to get on my nerves. I can't imagine having to hear them in the stadium for the whole game. I might have to mute the game soon...
Seriously though, its not that bad. Just pretend its the swarm sound of bees.
Seriously though, its not that bad. Just pretend its the swarm sound of bees.
That's exactly what it sounds like!!!! It's driving me crazy!!!!!!!! GO USA!!!
Is it bad that out of Argentina vs. Nigeria I was rooting for Nigeria but yet I'm not rooting for anyone in the England vs. USA until AFTER all is said and done? Hehe... E.T.A-Damn we tied?
Tim Howard was awesome... period.
These horn things are really starting to get on my nerves. I can't imagine having to hear them in the stadium for the whole game. I might have to mute the game soon...
Imagine it with a hangover...
Imagine it with a hangover...
It really is horrible. They need to start telling people that is they bring them to the games they will be confiscated. Keep them for the streets and celebrations outside televised events. If they continue I really don't think I can watch any more of the World Cup. I'm already only half paying attention and if I mute it it might as well be turned off.

Well, maybe it won't continue... World Cup organiser considers vuvuzela ban after TV complaints | Football | The Guardian Vuvuzela. That's a fun name to say!
Australia is getting worked. I know people who won't be happy...

Hey of course Australia is getting worked. Germany is creme of the crop in that 4 team division.
Hopefully, the Socceroos will win their next match.

La fiera roja, you're breakin' my heart...
I don't know about anyone else...but what really irritates me about soccer, and I love soccer, is the games ending in ties!!! Who thought of these stupid rules!? BTW, Ronaldo is smokin' hott :)

John Wayne is an American The Duke's last classic film, "True Grit," exemplifies how this team is playing. Starting with the opportunity to crumble utterly during the Confederations Cup, the U.S. thrashed Egypt to squeeze into the semis, handed Spain its first international loss in three years and went up 2-0 on the vaunted Brazilians in the final (then the clock struck midnight, but that's a different tale). Just one year later, this same team has stormed back from a fourth-minute deficit against mighty England, and an even deeper 2-0 hole versus a superbly disciplined Slovenia outfit. In other words -- don't mess with true grit, pilgrim.
