RWRRfan I agree with you. If Jillian wasn't so small she will probably be in the level of Ev, because Lacrosse builds you up to be that great. She proves her athletics when it comes to running.
I definitely agree that Jillian's a great player...that's why I'm so thrown off by what seems to be such a lack of effort and immediate surrender in some of these challenges this season.
I wouldn't say a lack of effort. We have no idea of how tiring these challenges can be. Also just a little tid-bit. Jillian said in the dailies when the show first started that she was called to replace Evelyn or someone else who didn't want to do the challenge. She basically was called less than a week before leaving for the challenge so it is not like she had a whole month to train and workout like most of the cast. Evelyn workouts out like on a daily basis lol so her being a replacement and doing good is not shock cause she is always training for something or a challenge. So with Jillian she is trying as hard as she can. I feel we can't say shes not trying when we don't even know how hard the things they are doing are. I am sure if any of us had to do these challenges, we would probably not be saying much now.

True, but it also depends how much of that is editing. It could also be the cold weather. I still think Jill/Pete where one of the strongest teams on this challenge.
I just feel everyone looks at the negative things rather than the positives. I bet if Jillian majority of the challenges and still had trouble during some of this challenge, she would still be given ****. It is like once you do something wrong, no one cares of what you did in the past
Her attitude ruined it for me this time around there's always a next time :)

Spot on!
Her attitude ruined it for me this time around there's always a next time :)
Lol there is no next time as of now. She said she thinks she is done with challenges and so is Frank. Plus she comes back like every 2 years because she likes to actually have a life and not deal with the drama lol. Is the challenge even going to be around by then. I wish she would come back but I much rather see the girl do what she wants and get a career.
Tonight I guess is a little understandable since it was Laurel she was fighting with after all...but I still can't get over her refusing to even compete in the second challenge in the water when Pete basically had to throw her butt in there. Yes, I understand she didn't want to get tired for an exile...but guess what...if you win the challenge, you don't go into the exile. It's almost like she's just accepting her fate rather than fighting for it this time around. Which is cool I guess...it got her to the finals.
I've always thought Jillian was one of the best and most underrated female competitors since I saw her on her Road Rules season. Does anyone remember how effortlessly athletic she was when she was just an 18 year old on her Road Rules season? She seems to have changed a lot. On this challenge she was so much more mature because obviously she isn't 18 years old anymore. And she's been in a relationship with Frank. Frank who is really smart and funny. It seems to have rubbed off on her because doesn't it seem like she has more personality and a sense of humor on this challenge? She seemed so serious on past challenges.
As for the way she's competing this challenge? I think she was concentrating more on the exile than the individual missions. And people said she was weak based off her not wanting to compete in the water mission because she wanted to save energy and that challenge where they were supposed to grab hold of the bag. Uh did anyone not see that Pete did not make room for her on the bag like every other guy did for his girl on that challenge? He wanted her to jump on him. Not a wise move. People called Jillian weak after that and I don't think that's fair. She is just not an amazon like Laurel, but for her size I think she's still a great competitor.

done with challenges for good.....there is no such thing 9 times out of the 10 the people who say that always show their faces sooner or later. I believe the challenge will continue now your the one being negative.

Can you blame her. She doesn't have alliances to fall on, and EVERYONE voted her for the first round. This is her first challenge, where she actually build an alliance with someone (Kenny a very smart player).

Lol Nah I hope they continue. I watch them more than the real world. I just feel since the real world is doing bad and probably won't last long, will the challenges have the same fate if the real world stops. Maybe they will just start casting for challenges since maybe 75% of the people who audition for real world want to just do a challenge lol
I always thought it was obvious she was Hispanic/Latin/Spanish something especially cause of her surname.
On her season I remember her saying she was white, so I thought maybe she was Italian or something. Oh well. Kenny is right, she is hot. Her and Pete make such a hot couple.
Oh and Evelyn got on my nerves. She reminded me why I and many people didn't like her on that challenge where she butted heads with Coral, she takes herself too seriously. She could have been nicer to Luke. And I think that she is just wanting to put EVERYTHING on Luke because she wants everyone to think she is invincible. I'm sure she contributed to them not winning a lot of things this challenge too. Not all him. Luke is a sweet guy. I agreed with TJ in that situation, I'm sorry.

If she was on her own? Maybe not. But her quitting directly affected not only her standing, but Pete's as well.
If people are voting you into the exile, then you fight! Do what Evelyn and Wes---errr---just Evelyn --- does when they are backed into a corner. Try to fight your way out and win the challenge to keep you out of the exile. Don't just say, "oh well everyone will vote me in anyway so I better rest up."
BUT, like I said in my last post, it's completely irrelevant because she's in the finals.
Well Buck it goes back to where you are mentally. Ev can perform 100% on a challange, and go to an exile. Jill probably can't, because she may not have trained her body like that.
Either way, I still stand by with what I said, that the correct three teams made the final. It's funny because out of ALL the teams this season, they deserved it the MOST, because of exile and challenge wins :-).

Alcohol will do that to you.
Can anyone answer this. I was kinda confused as to why Laurel tried to block Jillian at all. Jillian had already been in the exile twice so you wouldn't really want to send them unless you prefer another team in the finals (backstabbing?) or, just trying to be fair and actually play the challenge as it's intended.
It seemed Kenny's alliance should have just flopped for each other, and that would be even for all. Maybe all bets were off at this point, but poor Jillian getting squashed was probably thinking..."Hey aren't we're in an alliance here!"
Alcohol will do that to you.
Isn't alcohol a depressant? Which would make her slower and not as good? How would that make her more effortlessly athletic? Sorry I am just confused.

Yes it would. Molds was saying that it was the alcohol that has changed her from the "effortlessly athletic" girl she was at 18 to the weaker competitor she is now.

If I were Laurel I would have done the same thing. Who's to say at that point whether or not Laurel/Kenny and Jill/Pete were fighting for 3rd place?

Ahh I see. Well I don't think she is weaker, I just think this competition is harder than the rest. This challenge seems to have the most tiring challenges and this is Jillian's first challenge where shes not on a large team. Also again take into consideration of what I said before of her being placed on this challenge less than a week before departure. All these variables come in to play which can hinder her performance. She drinks but not as bad as the rest.

I agree that Jill and Pete deserve the finals -- as do Kenny/Laurel and Landon/Carley. Now as for Jenn/Noor or Ryan/Theresa? Eh. I still think Ev/Luke deserved that final more than either of those teams. But, that's how the game works.
It was so great seeing those two worthless, lazy morons Ryan & Jenn forced into Exile. Where the **** does Jenn get off crying about being tossed in? You haven't done a single thing this whole time! I hope they both get destroyed in the Exile.
I am praying for a Landon win. Jill can come in second (even though I hate Pete). Kenny can take third (he at least performed somewhat well). And what ever idiot comes back from Exile can languish in the dead-last spot with no cash, ha ha ha!

You think you are so smart..but it is obvious what your doing here.
And by the way Kenny performed better than Jill/Pete, Landon/Carly like him or not Kenny proved a lot this challenge.

And I never mentioned if Kenny did better or wose than Landon & Carly or Jillian & Pete. I was giving my hope for how the final challenge winner list turned out.

Those were my exact thoughts. Earlier in the show Jenn was talking about how she "should" go into the Exile because she has not been into an Exile yet. She was talking herself up saying how it's fair. Then [strike]Landon[/strike] Pete mentions how her and Noor won a mission and then she says how she "One up'd" Ryan. Then she is put into the Exile and is upset. I understand, it's only two seconds that you lost by. But it seemed to work out in a fair way. Kenny/Laurel, Landon/Carley, Pete/Jillian all have done Exiles. Ryan/Theresa and Jenn/Noor have not so it worked out for the best.
She also gets to face Ryan/Theresa who are one of the weakest teams on the challenge. Have they not been in Kenny's alliance I don't think they would've survived many exiles.
Just watching it..and for once TJ is my favorite host with what he said to evelyn about being a 4 year old!
TJ is a hypocrite. Last night is exactly the reason why I have issue with him.
Why didn't he show the same disdain when Johnny, Evan, Kenny and his other buddies mistreat people. When Abram "quit" The Island, TJ didn't call him out like he did Evelyn on the Ruins. When Johnny lost his key to Evelyn and dropped it during the handover, TJ said nothing, and it was tasteless. There are several other instances where he has choose to select his commentary in a biased fashion. My advise to TJ is that he needs to be consistant whatever his stance is.
Evelyn did nothing except she did not want to be bothered after a tough & emotional loss. What's wrong with that? Luke in fact needs to have a more competitive attitude, and yes the kid is responsible for their loss.
As for the rest of the episode, I thought it was hilarous, esp Ryan and Jenn making comments like , they worked very hard and deserved to be there. They did nothing, sans Moor (who is actually an OK competitor). As for them 2 being in the last exile is just fitting. They didn't realize until the very end that they at best case would have to compete against a strong team or each other. Had they voted differently a few weeks back, they may have had a fighting chance to take out a Wes or Danny in the last exile and compete with each other for 2nd or 3rd place in the Final. now, the 2 weakest teams have to go in, after having just complete a challenge, and then the winner has to look forward to about 12 hours of rest before they compete in the Final. Meanwhile the others 3 teams which are much stronger are at rest. This assures that neither one of them regardless of the exile when end up with nothing. I feel bad for Noor because he is decent, I wish he was with Ev instead of Jenn. Nevertheless, I am hoping to see the disgust on the faces of either Jenn or Ryan after the exile, and either Jenn or Ryan next week when they get nothing for what I believe is a recipe for a dismal fourth place finish.
I am glad that they added the twist and finally decided the last elimination based on actual merit. Even better, the fact that Jenn and Noor lost to Jillian and Pete by 2 seconds is all in part because of Theresa manhandling Jenn at the last stop of the obstacle course. As bad as Jillian did against Laurel, Jenn had no excuse against Theresa. In addition, the order they choose was horrible. They should have had Landon preceed Kenny not Pete. Pete is too weak and no match for Landon.Landon is too strong. I really don't think Kenny had a chance in the defender either after seeing Noor manhandle him.
As for Ryan, he just quit at the end. He got what he deserved after a season of lies and treacheoury(msp)
And I never mentioned if Kenny did better or wose than Landon & Carly or Jillian & Pete. I was giving my hope for how the final challenge winner list turned out.
Yes, as much as i have loathed Kenny in the past for being a weak competitor, he has indeed proven himself this challenge. It was Laurel who was actually fatigued during yesterday's challenge. Yet Kenny did get manhandled by Noor.
While I think by far Landon is the best competitor there, Kenny has done quite well overall. I just wished he learned to keep his mouth shut at times when wishing people would die, etc.
