You and RWHelper seem to know more about this Real World audition than anyone else. Can you help me out in anyway or give me a hint or advice on what to do?
Basically man, just give up for this season. You did what you needed to do, now you gotta play the waiting game. If they want you they will contact you. You did give them your number right? lol... And if you don't make it, then try out for another season. That's your next step.
[strike]thank u so much for ur help. Last question ___so do u think i still have any bit of chance in anyway. maybe if i wait till the end of the month or should i just give up now/[/strike]

I don't know what to tell you.
[strike]What If U Got The E-Mail Friday And Had 48 Hours To Send It Back???[/strike]
What if you got the e-mail Friday and had 48 hours to send it back?

...did you send it back in time?
[strike]Yea,Sent It Back Saturday Afternoon[/strike]
Yeah, I sent it back Saturday afternoon.
Honestly, I don't know what to tell you.
Semifinals for the South and East started this weekend and go through tomorrow.
You could always try emailing them yourself to see where you stand.
[strike]They Said Not To E-Mail Them Back,In The E-Mail[/strike]
They said not to email them back in the email.
You have to wait. That's all there is to it. There isn't any more advice or tips that we can give you except to be patient.
RWHelper has given dates as to when the finals are. If you don't get the call by then...obviously, you are not on it.
Yes semifinals are happening now. I coached my girly into semi's, I soooo hope she makes it!
Yeah some people just dont get the point that it's a waiting game lol...I went to 3 different auditions, in 3 different states, sent in a video and did everything else, but I'm not worried, because I know it's a waiting game, and I have a good shot at next season...
How do you know you've been cut?
They don't call you.
Or if you're really delusional, you wait until you see them on TV.
[strike]When Do They Call[/strike]
When do they call?
OK you've already asked this, and we've already said we don't know.
Jarvis, the key is to be patient. If you haven't gotten a call in the next few weeks, you're out.
Man some people just don't get the point. Basically if you haven't gotten a call or have been contacted in any other way about season 25, you're already out. No more trying out for season 25. So wait until casting starts back up for season 26. That's that.
There are still casting calls going on and nothing is ever set in stone until the cast is picked and filming starts so everyone needs to chill. Keep your phones by you and if they don't ring, they don't ring!

See I owuld agree with you, but i have a few friends of mine that are already past the semi finals... and the company has to meet a quota of auditions.. which means Bunim Murray signs a contract or whatever saying they will hold a certain amount of open call auditions.. so basically, they already have their people picked... and the few auditions that still remain are basically pointless... these last few auditions will just get you into their system for a later season... but not season 25
[strike]the real world say they always looking for different people but I always see the same people on there The only person that was new was the transgender lady I forget her name I might be wrong. I been cut from the real world 24 and 25 I don’t see no one with a disability problem on the show the person put on their application and he said it at the casting call he had a disability problem and I said I wanted to help my friends out in Haiti and that was my passion and they didn’t ask us to stay back and why do have to be 18 to 24 to get on the show jersey shore I think the age range is 18 to 29 and there ratings did better thin the real world Hope the chance to age range no need for me trying for season 26 because they don’t want me I guess I am to serious the real world. do this post to be a party season[/strike]

I think Jersey Shore is 18 to 29 and their ratings did better than the Real World. No need for me trying for season 26 because they didn't want me. I guess I'm too serious for the Real World.

Don't worry I feel the same way with my situation. Supposedly the gay card has already been played so I guess being gay made me not good enough for the real world and I told them how i want to show that homosexuality is not a choice because everyone on the show is always hooking up with girls and guys and saying they are confused. They say that want new people with stories but thats a bunch of BS. They just want hot materialistic people who drink all the time and that's all they will ever cast. Season 24 and 25 will be blah just like the past few seasons. It is a never ending cycle. If I ever audition again I will definitely call them out during casting since I am already to serious for the real world.

see I would also have to agree with you... i went to three auditions in the month of april in 3 different states... and i was very serious.. i even made myself stand out so the directors could remember me.. and i even sent in a video of myself... i didnt make it for season 25 but im the kind of person who never gives up, so im trying out for season 26 as soon as i get the chance..

I would also have to agree with you...I told the directors that I am different than any other person. They asked how so, I explained that I hold in my anger and emotions until one day they explode, and I'm out of control. But I also said I want to prove to everyone that not all guys are the same. I also said I want to show everyone that it's not about who's famous and who's not anymore and the spotlight needs to be shined on social issues...but still no luck at any of the 3 auditions I went to. I also stated that I do not drink, never have and never will. They were very shocked at that. Anyway, I sure hope they make a change for season 26 because I feel this may be my last chance to get my name known out there and also to make that big change in this world that I want to make.

See some people said that if I just was more laid back and didn't talk as much that maybe they would like me. But I don't want to change myself. Like I am being me at the audition and no one else. I am not gonna sit there and act like someone else for them to like me. If they don't want me than that is their problem. In the back of my mind when they don't pick me I just think about how ****ty the season is going to be and how dumb the cast will be. I just wish they were more honest about what they are looking for. At my audition I talked to a lot of people who had some of the things they were looking for and none of them were picked. However the people I saw who were picked were just obnoxious people who said they liked to party. Sounds boring and unoriginal. The show won't make it much longer anyway with how things are going.

That's not different than anyone else. I know people who are like that. I've heard of serial killers that are like that.

OK I'm a little confused. You say that it's not about who's famous and who's not, yet you want to get your name out there to make a change in the world. Why do you need to be on some reality television show to get your name out there at all to make a change in the world or to get a social issue noticed?

Well buddy use your head...lol camera's, and the opportunity for thousands of viewers to watch, duh! I know how this goes. And the town I'm from is a dead end town. I work in a factory. Very boring town and life. So being on the show is my open door. Understand now?
Besides man, I'm not complaining at all. I'm a fighter, I don't give up. I use what I have learned to my advantage. And now I will be ready and more prepared for season 26...no big deal anyways

I know you guys are upset but its like a one in 200,000 of a chance anyway, plus in an "realitywanted" interview with Damon Furberg (director of casting)... he was asked if he thought the open casting calls gave people a fair shot? And he responded that its about charisma and "if you cant make an impression in 4 or 5 minutes than you cant carry a whole season." This being said I feel like their looking for indviduals who are layered with more than 1 issue facing them. Also charisma and attractiveness also play a role. Also the ability to being articulate, be relatable, sincere, and totally honest is considered. ---- just some food for thought

Also if you actually use your head and try to think about what I said, I would use the show to my advantage. I am a very good artist, and I have a lot of fantastic ideas, which I would love to share with the viewers in hopes that someone out there can get a hold of me, maybe for a job interview? Things like that...any other typical reason why others would want to be on the show... so there's your answer.

You're still contraditing yourself because you want to use the show for fame "propeling you career" --- just saying =D
