Apart from LA-San Fran and Austin-Key West they've never done two seasons in a row in the same vicinity...so somewhere like Nashville or Memphis seem highly unlikely.
I'm not going to "call" 7 different places because that would be cheating, but I'd say that somewhere like Phoenix is looking pretty good right now.
I'm with you on that one. It would be highly unlikely they'd do back to back seasons in the South and Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale is a great virgin territory to explore with the show.
It would also save them all sorts of money on plane fare...well, at least for the half of the cast they get from ASU - and then it would cost a little more for the other half of the cast they get from the Boston area. ;)

Isn't Phoenix a bit like Austin?
Not sure if Arizona is classed as cowboy country.

I've been to both and I'd say that Phoenix and Austin are different.
I know it's vague, but my guess is somewhere in the West. My picks are Phoenix, Portland, or Vancouver.
You're exactly right! Especially since the last time they did West coast was season 20.
Real World In Ohio? No thanks.
Agreed. But if they ever decided to use somewhere in the Midwest, Minneapolis or Milwaukee could be interesting.

No way Detroit or St. Louis lol
No way Detroit are St. Louis lol
St. Louis probably has the best chance out of the Midwest cities. Detroit has no chance.
With that being said, St. Louis doesn't stand much of a chance.
I thought of something The Real World could do to possibly bring up ratings.
One of the upcomming seasons should be an All Star season.
They should bring back about 4 people from San Diego and before that, and 4 from Philadelphia and after that.
That way you please the current audience, and you may gain returning viewers that watched a long time ago since they may remember some of the older people.
Possible Cast?:
Beth (RW Las Angeles)
CT (RW Paris)
Tonya (RW Chicago)
Brad (RW San Diego)
Sarah (RW Brooklyn)
Johnny (RW Key West)
Brianna (RW Hollywood)
Joey (RW Cancun)
Most of the people on that list wouldn't go for that. I doubt old school cast members would go for that...but if your gonna have CT, Beth, and Tonya under one roof then you should add Coral. *****.
The Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe area is a solid bet. Less than 3 hours away is most of the state including skiing near Flagstaff, Tucson, Old Tucson Studios, Sedona, Prescott, Payson, etc. Depending on when they do it (summer to winter or vice versa), they could get in on the ASU football season & the Tempe block parties, showcase the lightrail, possibly even the MLB playoffs (depending on the DBacks), or Spring Training for the MLB, Arizona Fall League, and all sorts of other sporting events.
St Patrick's Day is nuts as is New Year's (which would be a helluva a way to kick off or end the season BTW).

Random fact: Residents of the Phoenix are known as Phoenicians. lol
I was trying to see like the competition and stuff. Idk. Im gonna try again for sure. Like I look at the people that made in LAST seasons, and im like what made them special?? I guess its subjective. I have no clue.
It will be interesting if someone gets casted from the NY casting call
Yea I know. D.C. was suppose to be a serious season but it honestly wasn't so serious. I was bored most of the time. You had Andrew who has no background story what so ever. He was there to just********. How is that interesting. He wasn't funny and I think I only laughed when Ty pushed him off the balcony which wasn't suppose to be funny. Mike is probably a nice guy but being nice shouldn't be something to get on the show. This isn't like a job or something. His story was okay but I felt with him hooking up with guys and girls and stuff and also saying hes trying to see what suits him better, I was annoyed. I want someone on the show who is gay who knows they are gay and are comfortable with it. I'm sick of the "I'm confused and I am not sure if I like guys or girls." It gets old quickly and it seems it is more for attention just like that guy said to Mike at the bar when he was flirting and kissing that girl. Emily was also nice and cool but her story really just fell apart and I forgot why she was there. Ashley was actually a good person to cast with her background and political beliefs but at the same time she kinda whined a lot but I feel she was a good person to cast in a way. Callie was awsome and some might feel she was boring but I loved her because people underestimated her and felt she was a pushover when in fact she wasn't. I love when she just shut Erika up and told her to stop whining. Callie was a good choice for cast. Josh was boring as ****. I am pretty sure he was wearing make-up most of the time and his singing sucked. Just because you look like you should be in a band, doesn't mean it is going to work out for you. Ty was blah. His adoption part in the first episode was interesting but then never talked about again. I remember they were looking for someone who was adopted for that season and they found someone but never went any further with it. Now let's talk about Erika. OMG I was so annoyed she was on the cast. You were selected out of thousands of people to do this show and you are going to ***** about the location and how things aren't working out for you. If I was there on the cast with her I seriously would have told her to go home first thing and just call her out on her bluffs. All she wanted was sympathy. I might be sounding to harsh but honestly someone else who wanted to do the show that was cut at finals could have had that spot. Her story sucked and all I heard were narcissistic comments about her voice. Her voice wasn't even that great and I am sure if she tried of for American Idol that she wouldn't be selected. If you want to sing then try another reality show hunny. These past seasons have really sucked and they need to cast better people with better stories. Party seasons aren't that good so I feel season 24 will just be another Cancun. Cancun sucked the big one with its cast. The casting for Season 25 is supposedly for a serious season but at my casting it seemed they were only looking for party people. If I wanted to watch a bunch of people get drunk, get in fights, and scream at each other every 2 seconds, I will watch jersey shore.
To be perfectly honest, I dont know why people keep saying Cancun sucked. I mean it wasnt the best but people keep talking like it was the worst season ever. i dont think it was THAT bad, just trashy. i actually liked the drama, but i could have gone without the 3somes.
I think they need to re-include jobs in the Real World. It made sense, in Brooklyn, to have the cast find their own jobs because it sort of highlighted the "big city dreams" aspect that many could relate to. Besides Callie and Mike in DC, no one was really motivated to fulfill any "dreams" in that season. Production tried waay to hard to include Josh's weak attempt at forming a band and Erika had soooo many opportunities, but made 0 effort. Everyone knows it's very different working with someone compared to living with them, and to mix the two is always entertaining. Let's face it, in Cancun whether you were on team Ayiiia or team Joey, you wanted one to go home; and joey did because of a few work related incidents. Should I even mention the thrill of "the one who shall not be named" finally leaving Hollywood or Melissa's outburst in New Orleans :D
This might have been answered, but how did Nehemiah get into the clubs while in Austin? He was only 19.
There are bars in Austin that are 18+.
That serves alcohol?
Yes...I've been to a few.
Of course, they don't serve alcohol to anyone under 21, but there are ways around it.

Im sure everyone @ the clubs wants to be that person buying alcohol 4 the real world kids... im sure the underage castmembers arent really missing out on that much
Im sure everyone @ the clubs wants to be that person buying alcohol 4 the real world kids... im sure the underage castmembers arent really missing out on that much
Haha that's one reason why I think it would be interesting if I were on the show, because I have never drank alcohol and never plan on it either.
Is it just me, or does anyone else out there hate the set-up of the show? I.e. The hour long episodes, but short seasons, and the 8 castmembers instead of 7...
I prefer the longer hours because it allows for more time for development of character, especially when the episode is "devoted" to one person. Seasons could always be longer imo, I want more and more.
8 people is cumbersome, always feels like 1 person per season gets completely swept under the rug.
I am not really a big fan of the hour long episodes, but it's not a huge deal to me. I feel like some episodes are less important than others and don't deal with important issues. When these episodes are just half an hour long, it's fine. But when these episodes are an hour long, they seem to drag.
To be honest, the last season I didn't stop watching mid-way through was Hollywood, so I don't have much of an opinion on the 8th cast member. But I agree, there does seem to be one person that doesn't get covered as much.
