I think I'm one of the only people here who do, but I actually like Danny. ... I only started watching the challenges since The Duel 2, .
Hi Fresh Meat! Glad to see you here. I think the problem most people have with Danny is that he does't make an impact... ever. He's like the male Paula. :) haha... It seems you're fairly new to the challenges... give it a few more. You'll probably get tired of him like the rest of us, too.
After this episode, I like Brandon. He didn't freak out at all during Fresh Meat when Katelynn let him down (The wall, the injury, etc). Also, he seemed pretty funny, i hope he comes back.
Next weeks episode seems interesting, unless the Wes/Ev alliance won the next mission one of their members would go in. Ev has won an exile, Landon has won a mission and they believe that CJ has also seen an exile. While Danny and Wes have done neither leaving them vulnerable to going in. I don't blame Wes for wanting to save himself, if he had bargained for Danny to not go in they would have probably sent Wes in the exile instead.
I know that generally Danny does a lot worse then Wes but this challenge, Danny has been doing a lot better then Wes. Yes maybe cause Wes' partner isn't very good but Danny's isn't that amazing either. I can't remember who did better the first mission, the 2nd one Danny and Sandy got a much better time, the 3rd one Danny didn't try Wes' idea but still did make it a little further. This mission they got a slower time but not by much. Not like the gap between their times on the 2nd mission. I think Wes should think about what him and Mandi can offer on the field before he criticizes what other people can or can't do.
Right, because she is plotting against team Edward...er..whoops, I meant Kenny. Anyway, Ev has done nothing this episode to be on anyone's "hit list." She is trying to win a game, build alliances and come out the victor. Let's not be so polarized and enjoy the game play.
Well, I love Ev, but honestly, I think she made a mistake by swaying Kenny's decision because what it did was make the lower tier alliance members (CJ/Syd & Landon/Carley) realize their positioning which could be a problem down the road, as Kenny's top 2 targets are her and Wes. in my opinion, she should have just let Kenny pick whoever he was going to pick and counter it accordingly. Besides, I would prefer to have strong allies on myside as opposed to double agents like Ryan who has shown his true colors in challenges past. In short, Ryan's vote isn't worth the a plug nickel. He is one person I never trusted. I just hope that this decision to sacrifice CJ/Syd doesn't come back to haunt her and Wes. To Laurel, in the past I have not given you the credit you deserve for being very instrumental in the challenge wins you and Kenny have amassed. You are a superior athelete, and have earned the respect of many with your consistant performance. I always said you and Kenny were the most complete team, but in last night's challenge your performance was good enough to assure victory to any male team mate on the challenge. Ditto for last week.

But the fact is that Wes has prooven to be a good competitor, Danny hasen´t
Wes and Kenny have both become so ridiculous it's a joke. I hope CJ and Landon go off and do there own thing and somehow bring Jillian and Noor in too. Those four are the only ones worth rooting for now.
Mandi is not that great, and Sandy seems ok... But the fact is that Wes has prooven to be a good competitor, Danny hasen´t
Yes, he has, in the past. But lets talk about this challenge so far. Episode 1: Really no skill involved. Both lost. Episode 2: Danny & Sandy got a much better score then Wes & Mandi and as much was Wes may say it is his partner's fault, he saw it slip out of his grip. Episode 3: Danny & Sandy tried the same strategy everyone else did and fell a little before or halfway through while Wes & Mandi thought their strategy was smart and Wes could really swing across thus resulting in him falling off right away. Episode 4: Danny & Sandy got like 0:57 and Wes & Mandi got 0:53 or something. Wes swam really fast to the wall but once they got to the wall they did just as good as Danny & Sandy in my eyes. Wes himself may be stronger then Danny but as far as pairs go, both of these teams suck.
Haha. How can it slip when he never touched it?
My bad, I meant to put "He saw it slip out of her grip." Wes is always saying how amazing he is and how much stronger he is then everyone else that if he really is that great, he could have recovered from her doing that. I know sometimes Wes' partners are great but he has to stop blaming everyone else for him not winning.
So I think the decision of making Kenny think that they were going to pick Ryan and have Ryan convince Kenny to give him who he wanted was genius. Kudos Ev. Now, why did they decide to sacrifice Katelynn? I fail to see the logic behind that. That means they will be loosing a member of their alliance no matter what. This is a team challenge, not a group challenge, so what if Katelynn might not do well or would have to sit out in some challenges. It's not like it would affect the alliance as a team. That would only affect Katelynn and Brandon. They manipulated Kenny into picking who they wanted and then made it all pointless by choosing someone from their alliance and guarantee loosing a vote.
I respectfully disagree. What is comes down to is is that who's vote is more important. Ryan - who in the past has flipped both ways, preyed on the injured, and flat out lied to his friends (let alone someone like Evelyn or Wes who I am sure he's indifferent about) or CJ,Landon - imo more proven, and more honest individuals...... in addition CJ being a rookie, can be swayed in either direction, and burning him isn't the wise move. CJ/Syd is perhaps middle tier..... and can take out some folks (Jenn's team, Ryan's team, Kay's team (gone), Danny's team, or maybe even Jillian's team (Jillian is well conditioned, a good athelete, and underestimated in my opinion). Nevertheless, depending on which way he decides to go in regards to alliance, he can sway middle of the road votes.
I don't recall him blaming Mandi, everything he's said so far has been pretty even-keeled and accurate towards her.
I'm not about to quote exactly what he said but when they were doing that mission and lost he said something along the lines of it basically being her fault. I just don't think that on this specific challenge Wes and Mandi have a whole lot more then Danny and Sandy have to offer. I'm surprised he's willing to toss his best friend. Sure I would expect it from the JEK alliance like how they did Johnny and Paula but I didn't think Wes would ever do that to Danny.

And usually is always who has the better female that wins. In this case, Laurel is better then Kenny lol
In this kind of challenge is difficult to see if someone is better than the other... And usually is always who has the better female that wins. In this case, Laurel is better then Kenny lol
What? I wasn't even talking about Kenny and Laurel.

Landon Cj Wes Evelyn Danny that's all they have left. This challenge would of been better if one of the weaker guys got Laurel, say Ryan...uhh one of the nice guys then. Landon or CJ. If we had to deal with Ryan the whole season...shudders. If Landon or CJ were running the show the game would be so much more normal and not this ridiculous garbage. Hopefully back to the good ol' days when performance actually mattered.

Danny has performed better then CJ and did better then Landon, CJ, and Evelyn last mission. My point is that this season, Danny isn't the worst. Also that I'm shocked that after how disgusted Wes was with the gameplay on the ruins, Wes is doing what they did, and seems to think that since it's him doing it then nothing is wrong with is: Getting numbers, sending friends in against each other, and using people as tools.
That's what I'm saying, they're all idiots/losers/hypocrites. Jillian/Landon/CJ/Noor finale. Anything else is unacceptable.

His only concerns were picking from a hat, because he knew he was going in every time if they didn't. The only friends against each other, he was mad because they were attacking him personally, which Johnny clearly stated.
This episode was cool.
On topic, please.
I want to say that I really liked Brandon's attitude about Katelynn getting hurt and comforting her after, telling her that her health is more important than some competition. But seriously, where was that support when she needed his help up the wall?!?!
The episode was alright, nothing exciting. Danny is probably my least favorite cast member, he acts like a big jerk! I really thought that Luke was going to be the male version of Casey, but after last week's episode and this week, he's proved that he's better than alot of the guys there. Laurel is officially my favorite fresh meat, glad she's dominating with Kenny. Like that CJ is making a pact with Lando now and it was smart of him to fool everyone.

on the RAW MEAT after show it was annoying how Kenny suspected they didn't do the exile he is a ****** liar!
on the RAW MEAT after show it was annoying how Kenny suspected they didn't do the exile he is a ****** liar!
The guy is a joke...
Benedict Arnold. I'm trying to set the mood. :D
Very clever, and appropriate :)
Kenny & his frankenstein-like partner continue to be nauseating in EVERY single way imaginable. Shirtless CJ was the highlight of this episode.
For some reason Jillian reminds me a bit of Shannen Doherty (I probably killed her name) with the new haircut. I really like Brandon. He seems like a very solid dude. Much different than many of the people who come on these shows.

As for Brandon, I agree. ****, ALL the New Meats are kinda different from many who occupy these shows. I love this batch!
I've been disappointed with the EV and Luke team. If Ev didn't fall down the wall they would of had a good chance at beating kenny/laurel. I feel like Ev is under performing and needs to step it up. They did kill it as TJ would say in the exile. I don't like Danny he comes off as a ****** and a wimp... being from Mass myself I tried to like him but just can't. Next episode looks interesting as their may be another alliance coming in.
