I've been disappointed with the EV and Luke team. If Ev didn't fall down the wall they would of had a good chance at beating kenny/laurel. I feel like Ev is under performing and needs to step it up. They did kill it as TJ would say in the exile.
I think she did really good with the log one, but both times Laurel's height/reach gave her a huge advantage. Plus, going first with the wall makes it harder.
I wonder how much of the challenge was based on swim speed... 90 feet is a fair distance, and it seemed that most of the teams moved up the wall at generally the same speed.
Brandon seems really respectable :D that's a good thing for this show! Haha
And Noor and Sandy just keep growing on me.. I feel like majority of this batch of Fresh Meat was a good pick
I should go back and watch the original Fresh Meat to kinda refresh on exactly how the first batch acted (in the beginning) :P

Not to get off topic...
Just watched the episode - good episode! REALLY upset that, 1. Kenny and Laurel won again, they are soooo annoying! And I'm also sad about Katelynn and Brandon, they were one of my favorite teams! ):
up till this episode the FM i can see being asked to come back are..
Pete, Mandi, Laurel, Cara, Brandon, Luke, and Noor... the rest haven't really stood out.
Well, I love Ev, but honestly, I think she made a mistake by swaying Kenny's decision because what it did was make the lower tier alliance members (CJ/Syd & Landon/Carley) realize their positioning which could be a problem down the road, as Kenny's top 2 targets are her and Wes. in my opinion, she should have just let Kenny pick whoever he was going to pick and counter it accordingly. Besides, I would prefer to have strong allies on myside as opposed to double agents like Ryan who has shown his true colors in challenges past. In short, Ryan's vote isn't worth the a plug nickel. He is one person I never trusted. I just hope that this decision to sacrifice CJ/Syd doesn't come back to haunt her and Wes.
I totally agree with the main content of you post (the strategy mistakes and the assessment of Ryan; I just think we don't have the same favorite players). They need to be more discreet about things if they are going to plot to get rid of some of their alliance members. I think it's better to not have such a big alliance (and of course, it's not a great thing for people to clamor to be a part of a big alliance as well - it's a two way street). I think if you are going to have a huge alliance, you need to have some agreement that you will all protect each other for such a length of time, and after that, you'll have to splinter off or strike up new deals. The seasoned alumni on the original FM challenge did that, pretty much.
I know sometimes Wes' partners are great but he has to stop blaming everyone else for him not winning.
I agree. Sometimes he himself doesn't make the best decisions.
I agree with the whole EV made a mistake thing..they had the numbers on their side. If Kenny had chosen Ev/Luke or Wes/Mandi or even Landon/Carly, they could've countered with Ryan/Theresa and that was one less team or ally to Kenny. And doesnt the alliance around Wes/Ev realise there are not that many spots in the final and eventually they would get cut.

Yes, they (or at least Katelynn) realized it and she said she made other arrangements for when that time came.
Honestly I'm not sure that putting in Ryan and Theresa would have been the greatest idea. They would probably be beaten in the final, and at this point there's no need to further cut down Kenny's numbers. If I was Ev, for the sake for Alliance unity (that is, to keep people from turning against me), I might have had a group discussion, telling them that someone had to go in (not her because she already went in), and it was going to be against Pete and Jill, because they would probably do well in the finals. Yes, it would risk a team from my alliance, but it's a gamble. Strong teams need to be eliminated before the final.

AMEN. I honestly didn't see why CJ was so surprised to be sent into the Exile. He's the new guy. Of course he's the one the alliance sends in when they need to send one of their own into the Exile. And quite frankly, instead of complaining, he should be sending many "thank yous" in the direction of Wes and Evelyn. If it wasn't for them, he would have been in the first Exile.
And I don't see why Landon seems upset right now either...he hasn't gone into Exile...so I don't really see how Wes has done him wrong yet.
I think everyone is realizing this "alliance" stuff is mostly a bunch of bull.
What you want is to see 2 strong teams that don't include your team go into each exile. Why would anyone want to eliminate a weak team? The more weak teams around for the final, the easier it is for a stronger team to win money.
That is true Bosnite but you're forgetting that to control the game you have to win challenges. So for a period of time anyway, it pays to have the strong teams on your side.
For Wes, for example, it makes sense to have Landon and Ev as his allies since they're they only chances (for most missions) to beat Kenny and Laurel and/or Jill and Pete. The weaker teams in his alliance are, at this point, only good for a vote. They're not going to help him contol the play of the game. If someone from his alliance HAS to be spared, it should be a weaker team.
That being said... by the end of the game, you do want to try to eliminate all the strongest teams. So... to win, eventually you have to step up and win a challenge for yourself, in order to put in who you want. Wes better hope there's a swimming challenge!

It's been evident for many seasons of these shows that the top teams/players are all scared of each other, and would rather take their chances against one another in a final than any sort of elimination round.
It's a somewhat flawed way of thinking; at some point, each competitor will have to shut up and just win, or go home.
p.s. Wes will continue to have no chance to win as long as he is saddled with mostly worthless (albeit attractive) partners.
