RW has touched upon many addictions. With the new obsession of Texas Hold em Poker and internet gambling I would like to see them portray the life of a roommate with a Gambling addiction.
That sounds really good, though I wonder if they would put them in a city where gambling is not legal? A person who is an obsessive gamer would also be a cool person to display but they would have to allow the person to play the games which I don't think BMP would do that.

Bunim Murray Productions which produces The Real World sold to the French company Banijay Entertainment in March last month when the getting was good.
The casting calls for season 25 of The Real World continues but there is only one more season left under contract with MTV – which I highly doubt will get renewed again.
So make the most of the Real World casting calls in your location as this may be the last, if not, then at best one further opportunity.
Do you guys think there's a chance to keep TRW alive after this?

i believe that after New Orleans, things can change... they really can. they should at least take it to season 30.

Nope
I dunno, i think there is a chance for RW to make it big again, but I think they'd have to reformat it somewhat (like a real house, not a super nice mansion, real jobs, BILLS, cleaning, etc) if they made it REAL and put less models, and more real people, it could function really well along with shows that seem more real (Teen Mom, True Life, etc)
A real house is not the glamour though...
However, having a job to work together was an essential part of the show starting with the 5th season at least through Vegas. Those jobs were usually community oriented and staying active in them was required to stay in the house. Boston presented this best with Montana getting fired from the job for allowing children to drink wine. She had to find another community service project to take part in afterwards.
I think they do need more real people in the house and less people who are trying to use it as a springboard, especially since they seem to like the idea of Fresh Meat. As for cleaning, the roommates are supposed to be able to take care of that themselves including cooking, shopping, etc. In the London cast, they actually had their house phone shut off for non-payment at one point. That might need to be something they deal with in a future incarnation.
Give it a rest for five years. The Real World had a solid run, but a break might be for the better. Come back in five years, you get new generation of teenagers and adults alike. Maybe MTV could improve in general, giving the Real World more views.
Start with getting rid of the Hills and the City ;)
I know I'm relatively new to the Real World, started at Key West, but I still love it to death. Here's to the Real World; great memories, great seasons, great drama! *Holds up beer*
I think half hour episodes would be a good idea for the real world. I think the challenges need to stay as an hour. I think it flows a lot better now then it used to when challenges were a half hour. We get a challenge and the subsequent eliminations all in one episode.

Maybe if they hadn't just done a season in the South, then yeah that would be possible. This seasons gonna be in the southwest/west or go over seas. I call Portland, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Back to San Francisco, Malibu, Vancouver, Toronto, or Amsterdam.
Since they are casting in a lot of cities, and it's the 25 season. I'm expecting this season to be in a BIG location. Maybe Europe, China, Japan, Canada (Vancouver), South Africa, Brazil. I'm expecting something HUGE.

I don't expect to see a fledgling series taken overseas. It's far too expensive, and international seasons have had comparatively lower ratings. That's the last thing they need...
I think that if they were to be doing a season in Canada they probably would have had at least one or some casting calls in Canada. As in some international seasons besides Cancun and Australia they have had at least one person who was indigenous to the country for the real world and since you need a visa/passport to come work in Canada it would make sense.
Apart from LA-San Fran and Austin-Key West they've never done two seasons in a row in the same vicinity...so somewhere like Nashville or Memphis seem highly unlikely.
I'm not going to "call" 7 different places because that would be cheating, but I'd say that somewhere like Phoenix is looking pretty good right now.
