Road Rules (Generic Thread)

really wow, I can't believe what can happen in a matter of a couple of hours.

Road rules is dead. It's not coming back. We will see the end of Real World and the Challenges before we'll see Road Rules again.

South Pacific is actually my favorite of all time.

I don't think the little-mentioned Maximum Velocity Tour did any better; it had no vote-offs, but had a weird format with a Roadmaster, points, face-offs and tokens.

At one time, they were producing 2 RR seasons a year and only one RW season. RR was very popular until Semester at Sea came along... I happened to enjoy that season, but imagine if Veronica and Ayanna had to be cooped up in an RV together. That would have been even more epic.

Ayanna would be in jail by now if she was in an rv with V.

Its funny how Veronica came into our television screen in 1999 and her most recent appearence was in 2009-2010, I mean 10-11 yrs thats a lot of years. Emily may have been called Queen Bee but Veronica is Queen Bee. I liked her hair color on the Inferno Blonde

She was SO skinny on her season of Road Rules and on her first challenge and even the gauntlet 1. I remember reading online that Veronica was upset when she read that people talked about how she gained a lot of weight on BOTSeasons. So she trained to lose it by BOTSexes1.

I think Road Rules ratings went down because of the concept of sending people home but we would have never had tina,jillean or katie. If Road Rules went back to their original concept of 6 people in an RV abroad someone it would work i know it would.

I dont like her brunette hair though.

I mean the first couple Road Rules really caught people's attention, but starting with RR Maxium Velocity it changed, even thought RRMV was ok it all change when RR The Quest started the vote off season but it brought us Katie.

Yeah I think in some occasions the Real World can be diverse i mean RW B2NY was diverse and I think RR is more diverse in the sense all aspects of life and culture were on road rules, people from different countries experience a once and a life time chance to do something fun and that was Road Rules.

RR brought us Christien, Antoine, Belou, Piggy ... all foreign (aka non-Canadian foreign) with their diverse views. Belou was an awesome difference on the show as was Piggy. I miss those adventures. Mark Long, after trying out to replace Puck on RW SF, was on of the first to be put on RR1 with the girl who slept with the Mayor of Nogales Az. Semester At Sea was interesting because you had to attend classes to get college credit as a credit in order to be on the show but they truly went around the world. The changing cultures of those RR were awesome. South America, Europe, and Northern Trail. Anyone remember the nude body living statues from RR14 with Jodi, Kina, and Derrick?

Oh man I agree. I felt that Road Rules in terms of Diversity was better than the Real World because they went to exotic places and did things in diffrent cultures. I miss this show. I felt like BMP Broke what was fixed.

I completeley agree. RR had more diversity as well as doing missons that looked fun and seemed fun and actually traveling the world instead of sitting in a house angry,crying or arguing with roommates.

I remember when Road Rules All-Stars aired, the cast was 5 castmembers from The Real World. Now I think it is time to have The Real World All-Stars and to have it be 8 castmembers from Road Rules. If you would cast 8 Road Rulers to live in a house, who would you want to be on it? [B][U]My All-Star Cast[/U][/B] 1. David- Viewer's Revenge 2. Kina- Xtreme 3. Abram- South Pacific 4. But almost all of them are all in their late 30's earlier 40's now. Anyway I'd have Jake and Piggy as well as the one in your first post.

Take out Holly & Chadwick as they are married and living comfortably on their own. Plus, Belou may still hold a grudge for Holly saying she is a bad mother for bringing her baby on a Challenge with her. I doubt Darrell or Veronica would do it either. Probably not Tina either. Although I think it would be interesting to go a little further back and made add to the turmoil by putting Los in the mix.

Awe I miss Road Rules! Campus Crawl and South Pacific were my favorite seasons. I wish they would try to have it again but how the older seasons were not like Viewers Revenge. It could work.

Can we please stop talking about this. Next discussion I think its about time for BMP to bring [B][COLOR=blue]Road Rules[/COLOR][/B] back and give it one more chance. Any opinions ????

Any opinions ????[/QUOTE] Viewers Revenge was the revival, and it turned out to be complete ******** should have just kept the format of having six people, and the vote off rule for season fourteen. Dan, David, Monte, Tori, Kristen and Angel would of been a good cast and the show might have gotten decent ratings, enough to make another season. Sadly, Road Rules will never come back, Road Rules Extreme marked the end of Road Rules. If they had taken the 13th season more seriously, instead of coping out and rushing it, Road Rules may have survived.

See you cant really say it's never coming back you can only hope now. I mean with so many people wanting Road Rules back it would be a great thing and they would do well if they went back to the original concept instead of vote off.

Unless they will do a Road Rules season every three years....
