These theoretical who could beat who in a fight arguments are borderline ridiculous. There is someone posting on here who knows CT personally and knows what he is capable of, that should tell you enough. Personally I'm more inclined to take the side of someone who knows him, and even before townie's recent posts, I did not think that there was one person in the RW/RR Challenge who would beat him in a fight, and I still don't. Didn't any of you watch the Duel 2? Did you see how many people it took to restrain him? I am convinced there is not one castmember who would get the better of him in a fight, but really it doesn't matter, since we know he's taking a break from the shows, and I'm sure when he comes back, we'll see a more mellow guy who isn't looking to intimidate people, and will let his performance in the competitions speak for itself. None of the castmembers have ever questioned his athletic abilities. After that fight on Duel 2, Derek (who had only done one prior Challenge) interviewed it was there was some relief around the house since CT is someone who could beat you in a lot of different ways. I don't think anyone will try to get rid of him when he comes back since people would not want to risk facing him in a 1 on 1.
Constantly talking about who can beat who in a fight is ridiculous..seriously.
For sure. The entire direction that this thread has been going is rediculous.
I say otherwise because I was told otherwise by V1, who, like townie, knows a cast member personally. In case you haven't noticed, he kind of knows what he's talking about. But if you really want to know, you should ask Beth herself.
I think townie using the words "guards" is a bit of an overstatement, and I don't know about Katie and Coral requesting them as well, but like I said...instead of everyone gabbering on about the same old **** day after day (like everyone has been for the last 2 weeks), go to the source yourself.
I wasn't trying to throw you under the bus molds, I was just saying to me it sounded far-fetched and you told me it was true. I'm not trying to deny that it's not true.
No Molds does not say otherwise, V1man said otherwise. Molds keeps the facts straight, and her post clearly states it was V1man.
Oh and LilsMom, go back three pages, get your facts straight.
I COULD BEAT ALL OF THEIR ***** !!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!! RAAAAAAARRR !!!! All I have to do is become a ROID RAGER like most of these morons on the challenges.

Somebody else stated that they had guards outside their room, I wasn't the one who threw the word "guards" into the discussion. Chris had known Coral and Katie for like five years when Gauntlet 3 was filmed; heck Katie even dated Burns there for awhile. Chris wouldn't do anything like that to anybody period, let alone two people he's known pretty well for that long. Furthermore, do Coral and Katie look like the people who would let something like that slide without going bananas (and rightfully so) over the matter? Do they look like the kind of people who would go crying and demand people stand watch outside their doors? C'mon people.
As for Beth, I'm sure in her own mind, that all did happen. From what Chris has told me, she is more or less a borderline paranoid schizophrenic. She always thinks something is going on where people are plotting against her or doing something to harm her. People who take what a person like that says seriously might as well be on the same wavelength.
Like I said, if Chris was selling stolen property of castmembers (let alone prescription drugs) he wouldn't have been on the show. If the producers knew about it, do you think they would've allowed it? I don't know what kind of prescription drugs Chris supposedly stole from them, but I doubt MTV & BMP would've risked being held liable for something like an overdose or other complications that somebody that bought the pills could've had if they were aware that Chris was selling those drugs to them. If Chris was dealing drugs in Mexico and they knew about it and somebody overdosed and died or had to be in the hospital, they would've been in SERIOUS hot water.
You can ask Brad, Evan, Kenny, Diem, and Tori or anybody else he hung out with the most during that challenge if that happened. They'll tell you the truth & not some secondhand B.S. passed down from a nutjob who will do anything to get on camera for 5 seconds.

CT haters? I'm sure people would say the same thing about the people who would defend CT if he bit a dogs head off....
The bottom line is townie personally knows CT, so therefore everything he says is right. Everyone else is wrong..can't we all just agree to disagree? (And I'm saying this as someone who likes CT)
You know what I am having a hard time understanding? How BMP could muster up some people to stand outside of Katie, Coral and Beth's room and not even air this yet they couldn't seem to have anyone defend Adam except for camera guys and the head production dude during Duel 2. That is why I don't know how much of the CT stealing stuff I believe.

That's because it didn't happen! Lets use some common sense here people & not hinge on outrageous statements from a paranoid schizophrenic who was still trying desperately to "get over" in reality television until she was almost 40 years old. What kind of person keeps coming back to do challenges until they're almost 40 years old when it should've been clearly apparent to them a long time ago that there is an absolute ZERO percent chance that they'd ever win one? Somebody diluted looking for "fame", that's who.
People who buy drugs illegally on the street are the worst kind of drug addicts and junkies that there is. They are the ones who abuse and the ones you have to worry about overdosing. You SERIOUSLY think MTV is going to let a castmember sell prescription drugs to people like that on their watch? It's so far-fetched, it's ridiculous and it's even more ridiculous that some people actually believe it happened.
Beth is a known pathological liar who makes stuff up in her own mind and actually believes it. She threw a fit when Tonya tossed her clothes in the pool and swore up and town that she never told Robin anything about Tonya hooking up with Mark... when there is video footage of her telling both Robin and Tina about what Tonya told her. She's implied to several people that she hooked up with Nehemiah, which also didn't happen, yet she misleads peoples' thinking and runs with the story. Beth is a spineless liar and when it's time to nut up or shut up on these challenges, she tucks her tail between her legs and goes home quietly despite the big game she talks. For such a sue happy hag, you'd think she'd have a better understanding of what libel and slander are.

Beth NEVER said Tonya and Mark hooked up. She said Tonya said that they watch movies together and are somewhat. She never mentioned them having sex. Then Robin saw the pictures Tonya brought of her and Mark and Robin assumed they hooked up.
[Click this pretty blue arrow to see the original thread] If you have read Beth's latest blog, she says she lost the gauntlet to Coral so she was able to satisfy her contract obligation before leaving.
I'm glad the executive producer was "reassigned" (fired) after the challenge. He completely lost control of the show. Things were so bad behind the scenes/off camera that they had to post a guard at night outside of Coral, Katie and Beth's door.
MTV needs a thorough house cleaning of this show, beginning with casting and they need to bring back Mark Kunitz who left BMP to create and produce Fear Factor.
According to this really old post, I think people have blown the guard thing completely out of proportion. They asked a guard to stand outside their door. It wasn't like some team of S.W.A.T members with bloodhounds and a full-blown moat surrounding the premises with active spotlights scanning the bedroom windows. They asked for a single guard to stand outside their room. God forbid Coral or the rest of the cast think about their own safety on a challenge. As for whether or not CT is the reason for all this, I wouldn't know. None of us would personally know since none of us were personally there. Either way, I would venture to say that the firing of an executive producer being linked to the guard situation would make it a "little" credible??

Robin said to Tonya that Beth told her that her and Mark were hanging out, watching movies, and hooking up. Beth told Tonya that she didn't say ANYTHING to Robin at all, which is a lie.

If they were that worried about their safety that they wanted a guard outside their door, then whoever they were all that afraid of wouldn't have been there. If it was one person, I could see them letting the person stay but if THREE people are supposedly that afraid of another castmember, that's enough to get somebody thrown off. Also, the word "fired' was thrown in by V1Man in that post, that's his choice of words and isn't anything official.
All this nonsense is just sour grapes from three people who got the axe from the show thanks in part to CT's master plan to cut the fat. They were the excess expendable baggage on the team and they couldn't deal with that fact. They talked big games about how they'd get even with the team for cutting the fat, and since they couldn't do anything about it within the confines of the game, they resort to stupid childish crap like this by running their mouths and spreading lies.

Moot point. They try to specifically cast for conflict on these things. Must be why they tried to get Adam and CT on the same team for The Ruins. Duel 2: Round 2, I'm guessing? Too bad quite a few people protested against that.
As for the "firing", I would say it's still the same effect no matter how you slice it. From my understanding, production was utterly incompetent to the point where it needed to be remolded. Thus, action was taken.

I guess it was part of CT's master plan to keep Eric around for an endurance-based final mission.
There wasn't much CT or other Vets could've done about Eric.
The Rookies were never going to send Eric in because he was their biggest asset, and they were never going to send CT in because they knew he'd take out Eric if he could and he wasn't going to lose to anybody else on the team, so it'd be a waste to go for him too.
Likewise, the Veteran were never going to send Eric to the Gauntlet because the only two guys close to him in size were CT and Evan and the other guys never would've gone along with a plan to throw a mission to send Eric in because they knew Eric would never go for them. You can't blame Kenny, Danny, Adam, and Brad for watching out for their best interest as far as that goes because they would've been pretty much guaranteed to go home if they went along with that.

I've already tried to suggest that, but as you can see, there are still people who want to go against Townie's word and believe CT is a monster.

Like CT said, no one wanted to risk Evan. However, if they Vets were smart, they'd realize that every guy on their team could carry their own weight. Loosing Evan to Eric, then eventually being taken out by someone else, the Vets would've still won regardless what guys they had left. Again, no one wanted to risk their own ***. The girls kept saying they'd throw the missions, but only Coral, Katie, and Beth agreed to do so. Beth was to late because they mission they threw, she went home. If Coral and Katie stuck to their word, things could have been a little more interesting.
The thing that made Eric such an anchor in the final challenge was that they had to be chained together. Had that not been the case, Evan & CT could've taken turns carrying him and they would've been just fine. Evan actually did carry Eric for a short period but it was hard for the whole team to keep moving quickly since everybody was chained together like they were.

My post was sarcastic...
I've never thought of CT as being off of his rocker but I did consider him to have an anger management problem for a while.
As to the above discussion, you can really tell who was worried about Eric, like Brad, based on their initial reactions to his situation.
I can't believe that people still want to blame CT for "keeping Eric around". That is absolutely ridiculous. When Evan got thrown into the Gauntlet by the Rookies, it was only the THIRD mens' gauntlet and still relatively early in the game. Evan was the Veterans' second best player (behind CT) and CT was very adamant about not losing Evan. If I remember correctly, CT was very vocal about not throwing in Eric and taking the chance of Ram It Home or Force Field being chosen. He convinced the team to put in Johnny, who he thought Evan would beat. The only reason Eric made it to the final mission was because he was not given safety in this Evan/Johnny gauntlet, which was given to Adam. By the time the Veterans lost another male gauntlet day, it was the one right before the final. No one could have predicted so early in the game that the Veterans would win every male challenge between the third male gauntlet and the last male gauntlet. There was really nothing the veterans could do about that since all the guys did everything they could to win every male day to ensure their safety. And when they finally lost a male gauntlet day, the Rookies smartly protected Eric, which was the only logical thing to do. You can't pin the blame for Eric being in the final all on CT. It was a combination of the Veteran guys working extra hard to win male gauntlet days to save their own *****, and the Rookies' good strategy.

I like this post.
DA, I agree, thats why the gauntlet 3 is one of my favorite challenges ever. ***** at trimming the fat and then loosing anyways. Karma at its finest, even the rookies IMO had no business being at the final challenge, lol.
Hell, KA and Sarah were better sports on the ruins than the rookies on gauntlet 3.
