I think it would be smart if BMP shot the next season of the Real World in an area that has had successful seasons in the past. I've noticed that certain locations seem to bring ratings. I'd suggest a city in California, Florida or Texas.
In terms of challenges, they should shoot it in Mexico. I don't know why, but the season shot in Mexico seem to bring ratings (Inferno 1, Inferno 2, Gauntlet 3). However, that might just be a coincidence.
For format of the next challenge, I'd like to see the Gauntlet 4 (even though Gauntlets are my least favorite format, they seem to be popular), or a new format. I'd like to see a format that is more social, and that has a smaller cast. However, I'd rather see BMP play it safe than take a risk and get poor ratings.
No more seasons in California or NY.
I'm sure the location has nothing to do with ratings, to be honest. Most of th challenges that were shot in Mexico happen to have a good casts and were good challenges in general.

With the Real World, I do think the location as an impact on the ratings (at least at the beginning of the season.)
With the challenges, I think the location only has an indirect effect. If they film in a good location, more cast members will want to attend. With more cast members to choose from, they will more likely have a good cast. Of course, there are other factors that influence the interests of cast members, but I'm sure they take location into consideration.

I honestly don't think location has anything to do with it.
Everyone couldn't wait for a DC season and it didn't do that well even in the premiere, and it got lots of good promotion.
I'm not sure the location has anything to do with the cast members coming on challenges, most of them will go anywhere for a pay check.
I'd like to see a big challenge soon. I don't want like an Inferno 4 because the cast is so small and I feel like it would be overloaded with Fresh Meat, old and new alike. And I just like bigger casts because it gives more people opportunities to compete.
And no offense Blake, but gay vs. straight would never work. There are like 4 gay guys competing in challenges nowadays anyways, if that. And tall vs. short? I'm not even sure how many of those girls are taller than 5'7. I think most of the girls are pretty tiny in person. I could be wrong though since I've never actually seen any of them in person.
Not many girls 5'7? Dude....go outside...they are everywhere. I'm sure most of the girls are that tall, maybe a little less.
You cant do a gay vs straight...that's like doing a black vs. white. It's probably against the law...
As for Real World, to be honest it's not the city to me it's the cast. If the cast creates good solid drama, storylines, and are interesting it makes the show. The cast could be in LA every season for all I care. Only season I can think of when the city affected the cast in a major way was Las Vegas and the foreign ones.

To be honest they did gay vs straight for a shot of love.
They did race vs race vs race vs race on survivor a few years back as well.

Yes, but in both of those instances they were specifically casting for that reason.
Also Blake, the average height of women in the US is around 5'5 (as of a few years ago). There may be a lot of girls that are 5'7 and above in this country, but how many of them have been casted on the challenges thus far?
You have to think about what they already have to work with.
However, splitting up teams based on height or sexual preference is probably one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.

Agreed. Personally I would like them to just do teams at random one of these times. Or do like a two captain system, like old school PE style.

I feel like it is a VH1 move.

I agree with Molds. It reminds ime of IMDB when they wanted to split teams based on ethnicity. They had caucasian girls of TRW/RR versus African American girls and it was so ridiculous and uneven I wanted to puke.

Yes they are. It's about that time. :)

That's the average height for ALL women, include women in their 60's, etc. But YOUNG girls, I'd say at least 5'6-5'7ish.
I don't see too many short girls these days it seems.
Or how about the original Real World/Road Rules format.
Real World VS Fresh Meat/Road Rules
We would have to include FM of course but it would be decent.
I was thinking about it and maybe the lack RW rookies was for the better that way the next challenge cast will be fresh. I am hoping it's filled with Cancun, Brooklyn, DC and Fresh Meat 2 kids. Also, I think we wouldn't mind seeing vets who we rarely ever or need to see again.
I'd like an inidividual like Island challenge except wtih more challenges. The Duel is too predictable and boring with the lists and alliances and Fresh Meat is the same way. Maybe a Battle of the Seasons format or something with a super cast.
If it is a Gauntlet-like show, and if it is flooded with FM2, DC, Cancun and Brooklyn (Scott already intends to do this one via his Facebook) then it could definitely be a great Challenge.
I agree!
I've always wanted an all rookie challenge.
Me too, it would be great to see what happens.
If an old school vs. new school were to happen, I would feel sorry for the new school since it would be castmembers from really recent seasons.
What other shows does BMP make. I know they do Real World and Bad Girls Club. Since it's not called "The Challenge." What if they just mixed a bunch of people from all their productions?

The Kardashians, and Khloe & Kourtney take Miami. Also, Styled.
