I generally enjoy this part of the series and tonight I am using it to bridge to Lost. ;)
But men's figure skating is on! You told me that was your favorite.

Which is why I am saving that to my DVR, to savor - Forever.
Hope...she has a very interesting voice, but is off key at times (just slightly to my ear.)
If she could be trained, she could be great as there is a re-verb quality to her singing that has gravity and is unique.
This Chris Golighty DQ is pretty interesting. He was originally part of the top 24 and was disqualified for having a record deal in the past, (something like that, forgot the exact details). Apparently he is hiring a laywer to combat the decision.
Idol is allowing the top 24 to keep their social networking profiles going during the show... well, i guess it's not really "theirs" since they all have AI9 in the address and they all seem to have started today, but if you want to follow them, check this out
I'm watching. So far I LOVED Crystal and Didi! Enjoyed Michelle and Lilly.
Did was great. It was not the best song for her, but she is still my favorite.
Lilly was in my top three as was Michelle. Michelle might be the Idol, as she is the real deal and has the full package, although a bit bubbly for me.
Crystal is talented, but failed with that song. The moment she started, I said...I really wish I could be listening to Alanis Morissette right now. The part I liked was when she called out the rules and said that she was not allowed to do original songs (being Idol would not have a rights deal and thus they only allow songs that they can make money on.)
I finally got around to watching tonight. I loved Kaitlyn. I love her voice. I love her style. I love her hair. She has star power. I'm excited to see more of her.
I feel like they were pretty hard on the contestants tonight and it's really too bad that most of the public doesn't have an opinion of their own they just listen to the juges.
As for tonight:
Didi is my favorite
Lilly was good
Siobhan was good
Kaitlyn I thought was really good
Michelle was very good
I love Haeley's voice but she did awful on that song
Paige was good but bad song selection
Janell and Ashley weren't good
lacey Brown wasn't very good
Crystal was good but she really can't play harmonica
Katie has a great voice but they're right on that one she can't be singing standards
my guesses on for who gets out would be Ashley and Janell although Janell may still have a solid fanbase from American boy. So maybe Lacey too.
Michelle by far did the best last night.
Despite what the judges said i think Didi and Katie both did very well.
I also liked Katelyn.
I am already annoyed with Crystal, i dont think she is that good at all.
I will be shocked if lacey isnt gone she was terrible.
I really do not see Ashley losing because of her online fan base. I do however see Lacey losing. For a season meant to be all about the girls that wasn't that great. However, it is the first week so hopefully they got their nerves out of the way. I enjoyed Katelyn, Didi, Lily and Crystal. I think Siobhan can potentially do really good.
