Well they did a RW in Paris, Sydney, and Cancun and those weren't part of the US. As big as Canada and Alaska are they'll do a season of RW up in both of them. Where in Canada? I don't know. Probably Toronto or Quebec. Alaska would be a unique place to go.
And the plus side is that they will be able to see Russia :)
Alaska will never happen. The only two viable options would be Juneau or Anchorage. The populations alone (31,000 and 360,000) are tiny compared to every other season (with the exception of Key West and Cancun, which are huge tourist attractions) and would not be worth the trek. Not to mention they could only film in summer there as the winter days have about 5 hours of sunlight. I could think of a few "unique" options better than Alaska.
Please share with us :D
For domestics, most college towns. Especially in the South. Most of them are bigger than Juneau with the student population alone. And if they're a good college town, they know how to party. For example: Nashville. Perfect mix of musical history and college town. Memphis could be another good city. In terms of worldwide, I'd go with Tokyo, Beijing, Rome, to name a few. Lots to do, and lots to see. Each unique in terms of cultural experience or history. Plus each would be quite an "experience" for any person in their 20s. With all of that being said...I would expect Vancouver or Toronto to be in serious running for the season after B2NOLA.
I'd rather watch the RW: Juneau than RW: Phoenix any day. You can do **** up in Alaska, not just hang out with your flakey friends and go to the mall all day.
You obviously have not been to the Phoenix area or, if you have then, you don't know what you are talking about. I'm a Arizona native and trust me there is lots to do.
I don't want to watch people drive taxis and work at Casino Arizona. God that sounds so depressing to me.
Since I do not work for BMP, you can be sure I was offering suggestions. But obviously you just have a serious dislike of Arizona for some reason. How unfortunate for you?
I'd rather watch the RW: Juneau than RW: Phoenix any day. I have been to the Phoenix/Tempe area a couple of times and there is more than enough to do.
If they picked another country I think Spain would be a great choice. It's a couple of hour from both London and Paris by train and it's a mix of modern day culture with old History. It gets crazy during Running of the Bulls. Lot's to see, Lot's to do and just an all around beautiful place. But if I had to guess where the next installment would be I would guess Canada. Ayy?
I just hope the cast is good. They really need people who are gonna be entertaining and actually bring something to the show other than boyfriend/girlfriend drama.
So who do yall think should've won the award for the best season?
New Orleans. Heck I would even say that most of the seasons 1-10 deserved to win.
I have been to Phoenix and loved it. BUT, I'm not sure it's all that different from any other big city. It doesn't really have a hook. But I'm sure they will eventually do a season there. I just kinda see it being a "party" season as opposed to a "serious" season. I think Nashville would be awesome... but being a HUGE country music fan I'm totally biased. I'd love to see a season of aspiring country singers :-)
I think Nashville would be awesome... but being a HUGE country music fan I'm totally biased.
That would drive me nuts.
I wouldn't even bother watching the trailer, lol.

Rome is seriously expensive.

I've always thought The Real World would eventually end up on a college campus for one season. Eight students (strangers to eachother, of course), picked to live on campus, study together, have their lives tapes, yadda yadda yadda. Maybe something like, Real World USC or Real World: ASU (since people have doubts in Phoenix). I mean.. why not on a college campus? If they're looking for a party season it's the way to go, and it's definitely an interesting concept for The Real World to take on. I think it's an option for Bunim-Murray somewhere down the road.

I'm sure there's campus housing SOMEWHERE, but they probably wouldn't live in Campus Housing More like a house or building or warehouse somewhere a block or two from campus... I mean, BMP is known for making homes for the Real World out of anything; a firehouse, pier, bank, warehouse, restaurant, you name it, so that won't be an issue at all. They could gather anyone enrolled in the school who may very well be strangers to each other once they move in. They could use incoming freshman, commuters, out-of-state students.. diversity in personalities won't be an issue either. Honestly, in my opinion, BMP could DEFINITELY make a RW season work on a college campus. The only issue is getting to cooperate with the college, which I'm sure there would be issues with misrepresentation of a college, etc.
I think the idea of Real World: ASU would work. There is a lot of off-campus housing easily within biking distance with parties every weekend. Trust me, it could easily renamed Real World: Tempe to confuse people. TEMPE = Temporary Education Many Parties Everywhere
I thought Manitoba was 19 now too. I could be mistaken, it's the one province I've not spent much time in (only been there once for about 2 days, not looking to go back lol)
i live in Manitoba and the legal drinking age is 18. Also they will never come here because their is not many attractions and the weather is not usually good. My favorite season was Philadelphia in the modern time and I don't include the older ones after that season because they are to long ago for my recollection, to remember main things. I would think a college season would suck as they are all college anyways why force people to attend a college just for the show. Also picking freshmen would to me be the only way it works and that sounds like the college life show.
Yeah, I think if they went to college while a cool concept would not work out too well. It would be a totally different show and thy wouldn't be hanging out with eachother too much they could just make a new show about kkids liivng in the sam ehouse in college. Semester at Sea worked because the people had to be together for challenges and stuff. Real world college would not owrk.
I think that sticking 8 strangers in a college town is a much better idea than sticking 8 college students in the college town they are already attending.
There's a show like that and I think it just got cancel, its College Hill on BET. It's way more dramatic than the real world and the live near campuses. :D

It is one of those colleges where they have students from all over. Have they ever had a season in Arizona? I don't think colleges want to be featured on the real world, but still that would be awesome.
There's a show like that and I think it just got cancel, its College Hill on BET. It was the only season I watched because all the other seasons where to ghetto for me to watch.

Actually I just checked and its currently on limbo meaning its not cancelled yet or renewed. But they fights on that show get really physical and bloody like the one that went down on the Virgin Islands season. :D
Heres what I think should go down: 25: Vancouver 26: Houston 27: Cleavland 28: Boulder 29: Orlando 30: Back To San Francisco 31: Amsterdam 32: Atlanta 33: Back To Las Vegas 34: Tokyo 35: Phoenix 36: Portland 37: Minneapolis 38: Dallas 39: Jersey Shore 40: Back To London (with an all american cast) 41: Toronto 42: Milwaukee 43: Charlotte 44: Aspen 45: Back To Hawaii
What are your chances of an 18 year old being on the show? like they say you can be 18 and on the real wold but like as far as I can remember the only 18 year old I've ever seen on this show was Jacquese on San Dieago. *** mtv!!
