Survivor 20: All-Stars - Heroes vs. Villians

Some of the popular belief is that Heroes vs Villains will get the post-Superbowl slot since CBS has taken their sweet time announcing what the show will be. If it was a scripted show, they'd need enough notice to film a special episode. If they are delaying the announcement til early January, like the below article suggests, it could be on January 9 when they presumably announce the S20 cast at the TCA party. The beginning portion of the TV Guide special, which will air in full several times over the next few weeks, hosted by Natalie White. YouTube - Survivor Heroes vs. Villains Preview Sugar is so classy...
Natalie looked really awkward.
Hahahah Sugar is one classy broad... her and her 2 kippers flying around. I knew they asked Corinne, I gurantee that spot went to Danielle. I wish Corinne was on this season, I really liked her!

I really love how they said they didn't invite back Johnny Fairplay because he quit, yet they offered Jenna Morasca a spot. I think Probst just hates JFP.
Jenna was in a different league of quitters, to be fair. She stuck out an even tougher situation than did JFP, and she did it for 6 days longer. Though she made a bad judgment call signing up for AS, her quit was still justified. Not to mention, maybe she never wanted to go on AS1, but was pressured by production. They had to resort to females like Amber, Jenna Lewis, Shii Ann and Alicia, so they were already scraping the bottom of the barrell as it was. Maybe they didn't want to have Jenna slip through their fingers like they had Elisabeth, Colleen, and Neleh.

I really think Johnny Fairplay not being invited back is because Jeff hates him. I mean i wouldn't consider JFP quit in the same league as Osten or Janu. He did just have a baby and i dont think was in the right mindset. And its not like Johnny was scared of being voted off and thus quit, JFP was in no danger of going home on FVF at that point. But still JFP was a very big letdown on FVF and i dont think its necessary to bring him back so soon after that.
I think part of it is, when doing the casting process, they at least want to predict the general behavior of the person when they are playing the game. JFP is simply too unpredictable, and they don't know what they will get from him, so they'll put someone on that they know will give them the behavior that they are looking for.

He just had dental surgery the week before and was in a ton of pain. They couldn't really mention that though...
I figured they didn't invite Corinne because she was too similar to Jerri, but interesting to know that they wanted her. They should start doing the All-Star seasons during the fall so that people like Russell whose season was airing while this filmed can't just repeat the same strategy they had on their original season.
I am SO glad they didn't let her out of her job.
I'm not. This season is called Heroes vs. VILLAINS after all. And Corinne is the biggest female villain since Jerri. Corrine is about 1000000000000000x more of a villain than Sandra, Courney, Danielle, and Parvati put together and multiplied times 10! Its quite obvious to me. work had nothing to due with Corrine not being cast. Corinne is from New York, not Los Angles = Wont Benefit Parv = Not casted by Erika Shay! Such a shame.
Corinne isn't really a villain. At least Jerri, Parvati, Sandra and Courtney have characteristics that are authentic. Corinne manufactures all of her bull.
Well IDK i dont personally know Corinne so I cant say. However calling Danielle, Sandra, Courtney and even Parv villains is a little of a stretch to me. Personally i think Steph (aka Hero Steph) was more of a villain in Season 11 than all Danielle, Sandra, Courtney and Parv.
The TV Guide special will air on TV guide channel tomorrow night, at 8 PM, 10 PM and 1 AM.
I don't even think I have the TV Guide channel anymore! I'll have to catch it online.
Well IDK i dont personally know Corinne so I cant say. Having her AND Jerri wouldn't have been any fun for me. I agree though, Steph was a **** of a better villain in Guatemala than Danielle or Sandra...although Sandra did have some moments, I suppose.
On that Entertainment Weekly special they did on Steph, Probst said that they considered putting Stephenie on the villains tribe but it didn't seem right after how popular she was during Palau.
Eh, the TV Guide Special was kind of boring. Nothing too special.
Geez....CBS really decided to push the envelope with this commercial YouTube - CBS Survivor Hitler TV Commercial
Was there any commercial/promo/trailer shown during the Superbowl for Survivor 20?
A little extreme, but I guess they get their point across...and at least Hitler doesn't win, right? dreamdude I don't believe they did show anything during the Super Bowl. But I did hear the music playing in the background during warmups, so maybe they were showing something at the stadium (or trying some form of subliminal messaging).
