Not to mention, Parvati changed her game up the second time so I can see why a a threepeat appearance is justified for her. Amanda played the same game twice, saw the same result twice, so there's no point for a third season of her.

Yeah, that too. Parvati saw where she fell short last time, changed it up, and won. It'll be interesting to see if she plays a different game again or one similar to FvF.
As for Amanda...I just didn't see her bringing anything special either time she was there. And she did play the exact same game (give or take a few moves). Then again, if she plays differently, I might have a bit more of a liking for her. I should be able to tell about 30 minutes in to the first episode...

Yeah, I kind of agree re: Amanda. I like her, but she totally blew it in FvF, especially after the great play with the HII!

I'm glad Ozzy wasn't on, he's annoying. But I think Jonathan would have been better for the villains than Randy or Tyson, and Tina would have represented the early seasons, but I guess Colby and Jerri was enough from that season. I do think they missed an opportunity by not bringing back pre-AS legends like Richard, Sue, Jenna Morasca, Tina, to join Colby, Jerri, Rupert and Rob. But their hands were tied with Richard, timing was bad for Jenna, and Sue would probably never do it again. I would imagine the extra ratings they'd get from Richard would have been worth the costs to wait til the regular October/November to film, but what's done is done.
With Tina, they very easily could have bumped Candice to villains, kicked Danielle out, and put Tina on heroes. I'd rather see almost anyone over Danielle.

Everyone I have talked to says that there is a couple of them that there sick of watching -- who knows why cbs does what the do ?? I have realized a few things about cbs-- when they are done with using you for there gain-- they could care less about you.

Richard is Survivor legend, I'd rather have seen him over Randy or Tyson.
I will say though, that given the availability of who could partake in the season, 85% of this cast was the best they could have done. I think Tyson should have been replaced with Shane, Danielle with Twila, and Candice with Tina. I'd have liked to see Richard & Jenna Morasca as well, but there simply was no availability for them.
I am just happy that Jerri, Colby and Courtney are on:D

Upon rewatching Season 2 a few years later, I really grew to appreciate her more...she's a great character. Going into season 20 she is definitely my absolute favorite of the bunch.
I think the "b***h" title is really unearned....she has strong opinions and isn't afraid to voice them. I think in season 2 she just was a contrast to the "good people alliance" of Tina, Elisabeth, Colby, etc. and that's why she had the ammo to be edited the way she was. She has never backstabbed a single person over two runs and plays a clean game. After seeing season after season with passive mactresses who say and do nothing, someone like Jerri is refreshing. The original, and honestly, the ONLY true female villain in the show's history.
I hope she gets Rob out...so she can continue her run of getting revenge on the person/people who screwed her chances the last time she played.

I can remember not liking her very much in Australian Outback, but that was just because there were tons of likable characters that season (Tina, Colby, Elisabeth, Rodger, Mike, etc). Compared to some of the more recent characters in seasons past, I'd say she's more likable.

In All Stars she kind of was a follower, I think she really wanted to shed the persona she once had. She followed Jenna Lewis in her "vote off the winners strategy," then she started following Lex. Rob interferred in her tribe though in order to save Amber, by pulling Lex aside after a challenge, and Lex made the stupid decision to do so.

I think this would work really well for the ratings of the series, but they are going to have to focus their advertising and the beginning of the first episode on Jerri, Rob, Rupert and Colby to pull in the old audience that gave the show the monsterous numbers it once had. Knowing CBS, they will make the mistake of advertising their cartoon characters (Russell, Coach and Sugar).
There is no way Amber is the least deserving winner. She's definitely not the most deserving winner, but she's not the least either. I mean Sandra didn't even deserve a Final 4 spot and I didn't really think Parvati should've won either. Aras also got pretty lucky that Danielle basically chose him to be the winner of his season by voting off Terry instead. At the end of the day, though, all winners are deserving. I mean if your cast was too blind to see that you were actually playing the game (and the won a jury vote so they had to be doing something right), then it's not the winner's fault.

I disagree. She's one of the most undeserving winners ever. Boston Rob was the best physical and mental player that season and the jury was too bitter to realize it.
