Whoa! Am I late? Is Season 24 filming in New Orleans?
'Sho is!! :) Sweet pad, don't ya think?
I'll be out and about in New Orleans for the full week of Mardi Gras so I will make sure to have my camera ready! Also, I will be staying at an uptown house on Roberts St. which is 2 streets over from Dufossat. Maybe I can catch them coming/going from the house!

I also agree about hoping they keep the decor the same. It would make it more interesting I think. Is it normal for someone else to technically own property when the Real World films in a locatioin? I would just think a lot of stuff would get altered (holes drilled, sinks changed, etc) and it might suck for the owner afterward to try to sell... even though I'm sure they know what they're getting into. :)

I do think it's normal for them to just rent it out from another party under that condition.
Haha I live 2 minutes from that house, should be interesting, didn't believe my buddy when he told me he heard they were filming there, then I came upon this thread.

The more people canvassing the site, the quicker we will be able to put together the cast.
I have no idea where this street is but I'm sure during Mardi Gras my uncle will visit and he'll drive me around :P I'm happy that it's coming to New Orleans! :D
The house is on Cribs right now on MTV!
Its a great location. Its right off of St. Charles and is only a couple blocks away from the parade route. Its also pretty close to Tulane University. I suspect that they will be using the streetcar a lot.
This house looks like the Bad Girls Club mansion. Lets hope they cast a more exciting and dramatic cast for the new season.
This house looks like the Bad Girls Club mansion. Lets hope they cast a more exciting and dramatic cast for the new season.
I said that it looked like a house they would use for the bad girls club instead of the Real World too.
BMP does also cast for the bad girls club, could we have the wrong house?
BMP does also cast for the bad girls club, could we have the wrong house?
I'm not going to straight up say no, but I highly, highly, highly, highly, highly, highly doubt it. The dates and the location match perfectly with the press release from MTV.

BMP is still casting for season 5 of the bad girls club.
Plus it only takes place in LA
I must say that it actually looks like a challenge house. I know it not but he does look like one.
Great work in here, guys! The house looks awesome already!
Nice house but why go back to New Orleans they have recovered from Katrina? I guess we will find out when the season starts.
Nice house but why go back to New Orleans they have recovered from Katrina? I guess we will find out when the season starts.
New Orleans HAS NOT completely recovered from the Katrina disaster. There are still people suffering to get back on their feet. The cast could truly make a difference. Well, they could make a difference if BMP decided to cast people who are focused on change and not being "basic" and "extra".
They are moving in furniture at this time!

Once I get off work I'm going to slip over there and try to get some. It's already getting dark though, so I'm not sure if they'll turn out. But I'm gonna try! :D
