Is Ruthie the only RW'er with an identical twin?
Willie from RW Philly has an identical twin.
I agree with the people who liked RW Las Vegas, or at least feel it is much better than the party seasons today. I get the criticism of it, but it still feels different than the other party seasons it helped to usher in.
*sigh* just once I would like to see the Real World cast a black man that doesn't have unresolved anger issues... or wind up involved with the police.
I find it hard to believe that production can't find ONE black man who doesn't fall into this needless routine.
I thought Adam King didn't have anger issues. If you want to go to closer time you could even include Greg as he didn't get arrested and didn't have anger issues, if anything when people confronted him he just left them to be alone.

what about Steven from Denver? of course they had Tyrie on that season too!

Yeah, but...they were both d-bags.

See Mohammed, Malik, Theo (sort of), Alton? (don't know), Adam, Jacquese, Karamo, Stephen, Nick, Shawn (RR8), Darrell (on RR), Johnnie (FM), LaMonte (RR14), and possible older RR alums I don't know.
I think if Cancun was cut into thirty min episodes while still with the 12-13 rule like season 1 it may have been more bareble because most of the annoying filler bs they put to fill an hour would have been ommited.Plus with seven roomates there always one that fades into the backgroung but I feel RW Cancun casted alot of Filler Type people that story is ordinary or anything like I feel Emilee should be on the BGC with all the *** she talked on the show and Twitter.I totally thought Bronne was gonna be more dynamic .Joey,Ayiia,Jonna, and Jasmine were the main people focused on wih a segment given to the others. Also with this cast I felt some people never even really talked I never saw like Cj and Jasmine speak to speak to eachother,There wasnt awhole lot of cast interpersonl relations .The first ep was the best but maybe got my hopes too high.
Don't forget Nick from Hollywood and Laterrian from Maximum velocity RR
Laterrian was pretty crazy on BOTS1, especially from what i've heard on the castmembers blogs. But this is getting way off topic.
See, in one interview, Coral said the show was ******* now and Aneesa and Sarah (RW15) agreed. When exactly do people think this show took a turn for the worse? I know many say Las Vegas but Paris remained pretty calm, San Diego wasn't all sexed up, but there definitely were no social issues that were discussed except for Frankie. Philly seemed pretty mature when it came to both social issues and intelligence as far as the cast goes, nor do I think Philly was ****** at all. i would definitely say that things started to change once Austin rolled around.

Yeah Austin seems to be the great divide between old school fans and new ones.
Yea it did. I thought Key West had a good cast. i actually liked that season but there still seemed to be something lacking from it. Denver was horrible, as was Sydney, Hollywood was ok but could have had more career driven people. C'mon-do we really think Kimberly wants to be an entertainment reporter for E!? The only people that seemed motivated were Will, Brianna, and Sarah. Joey was there for pure eye candy even though he did provide good drama. That d-bag was a waste of space, Kim no thanks, and Dave definitely should not have been cast.
I think there is a fine line drawn down after Philadelphia. From Austin on, the show became notorious for being a drunken mess. The show started to pick up again by Hollywood but by then many old school fans gave up and never gave the new seasons a shot. I think it's safe to say that the show is relying on a new fan base than the one that existed during the pre-Austin era.
I think you can say the same on the Challenges too, the line was drawn after Gauntlet 2 and before Fresh Meat.
I've seen some fans divide the first half of the RW seasons this way:
RW 1 - RW 9 as classic, RW 10 - RW 11 as good but a little different than the earlier ones, and Las Vegas taking it to a different level,
OR
RW 1 - RW 7 as the classic earlier seasons, and the show turning a little different after Hawaii, then changing further with the Las Vegas season
For me, I do think Hawaii was kind of the first turning point, from what I've seen, and Las Vegas was the next. I agree with those who think the show took a huge dive with Austin.
As for the black man with no anger issues, Mohammed and Malik were two of the nicest people ever on the shows, I feel. Malik in particular I remember as being very peaceful, even when people were mad at him. Jacquese seemed cool too, from what little I've seen/heard of him.
We're 4-5 episodes into this season, how do you guys feel?
Personally, I tried to give this season hope but its extremely bland & boring to me. I never catch the episodes on time anymore and there's no castmembers to love nor hate for me & that's what makes a season. I don't dislike them they're all just like filler castmembers to me. Maybe BMP/MTV is trying to give everyone some airtime but I just feel like we don't have a dominant castmember this season.
I think this season will pick up once they actually get situated and follow through with their goals. LIke when Mike goes towork in politics and Emily and Ty go to do their non profit stuff. I'm really looking forward to Ashley talking about politics apparently she knows her stuff.
Its better than Cancun, Sydney, and Denver, but not better than any of the other ones IMO.
I just can't get over how boring Ty and Emily are together, and it looks like there are going to be more of them next week. This last episode was my favorite, because the lack of them both. I find Callie, Ashley, and Mike really interesting, and Andrew really funny. There's not really much Josh and Erika, yet. I think it will pick up when he see Erika's "crazy" side come out, and we see what they were doing job-wise.
There are 14 episodes this season, so we aren't halfway through yet.
People were saying how boring it is because of Jersey Shore. I hate when people compare them. The number of people are the same and thats about it.
“ This is the true story... of seven (8) strangers... picked to live in a house, have their lives taped... to find out what happens... when people stop being polite... and start getting real...The Real World.
The Jersey Shore???

The Real World...Hoboken!!
I guess they are comparable because the Jersey shore was exactly like a crazy version of The Real World. I actually think this season is way better than a lot of the seasons they've had. Denver and Brooklyn ewere my favorite, I feel this season we are dealing with educated kids with real problems. I don't think people should judge how the season is until it's at least halfway through.
