She might get a ton of sympathy votes. I think Kathryn is the next one out.
I hope so. I think the reason someone goes home should be because of their dancing and not because of anything else.

Yeah, I wish they changed it to America's BEST dancer. Although this season they've done a pretty good job. I think the judges voting people off before they got to vote was a good idea.

I actually prefer America voting for the bottom three, and then the judges sending two people home. I think the only time the vote should be the only factor is for the finale.
Jakob reminds me of Penn Badgley for some reason.
I agree, I wasn't really feeling it either. I think he had to change his style a bit to drop to her level.
Wow, I didn't really care for that routine, either. I've been disappointed with the majority of the dances tonight, but oh well. I think Ellenore may have a bigger chance at going home than Kathryn this week.
How sweet of Ryan to do that. Kind of cheesy, but still sweet.
I don't know if they covered this in the first dance, but apparently Ellenore has some sort of bicep injury and Travis had to change his routine to accomodate her, and NappyTabs was worried she wasn't going to be able to be 100%.
Also, this season the finale is next week, meaning it's a final 6!
Kayla from season 5 is assisting Travis.
A final 6? Not sure how I like that. But I am excited to see Kayla again! Love her!!
Uggggggggggggggh.
Bottom 2 girls: Ellenore and Mollee
Meaning 4 of the 6 in the finals are Jakob, Russell, Kathryn, and Ashleigh.
Adam is really surprised. He told Mollee she had some of the best performances of the season last night. It's like they're prepping her to go home already. The look on her face is a "Crap..." look.
And he just compared Kathryn to Jeanine.
Mollee looks reeeeeeeeally upset.
Interesting. I wasn't expecting Ashleigh to go home, but I did expect her to be in the bottom 2 at least. I'm happy Kathryn isn't in the bottom since I thought she did the best of the girls last night (and many times before), solo and all.
Ellenore's solo really wasn't that good and I think her performances last night were only good not great which didn't help much. Mollee was fine last night but I think she was outshone by Jakob which probably hurt her.
I've gotten the feeling on other boards that people don't like Ryan so I think he is gone tonight. I think he is a GREAT partner but I do think he is a weaker solo dancer and in the end we are voting for an individual not a partnership.
It seems like people are voting more for the overall season performance not just one week which is kind of nice to see. And overall, I think Mollee has been the weakest yet of the girls left. She has been too inconsistent for me and hasn't had that WOW moment for me to put aside all her bad ones.

I thought all the girls did well last night and I LOVED Legacy and Ellenore's contemporary routine. Mollee had 2 really good dances last night. Kathryn's cha cha was probably the single best performance of the night, but her first real good one. Before that she was just so so. I was expecting her to be in the bottom 2 with Ashleigh, and they're both safe.
At this point, I just hope that Jakob wins. He's been the only consistent dancer and has a real future in dancing.

Totally agree! He is far above the other dancers in talent and I like his personality. I think it may be just a bit too quiet to pull away with the win but I definitely think that he will be voted into the top 3 at least. Well, at least I hope he will.
I don't understand why, but Ryan does the exact same solo as the night before. I understand that he can't do much with a ballroom solo, but exactly the same? Seems ridiculous.
Kris Allen is performing...blah blah blah. On a side note, I saw a commercial for American Idol and they have NPH as a guest judge!! Yessssssss.
Yeah that's weird. You'd think the judges would have said something to him about doing that after the first time. Or even, ya now his WIFE. One would think she would at least give him a hint it's not a smart move. Just adds to my impression that he is a great partner, not solo dancer.
NPH!! I think I had heard something about that a few weeks ago. I might have to tune in for a bit this year, hmm... Was it for the auditions or the actual show?

Auditions, I think.
Going home: Mollee and Legacy.
Ryan and Ellenore are the last two in the finale.
Wow, kind of surprised Legacy got voted out! I really liked him and even voted for him! I thought he had a big following too. Ah well, here's to Jakob FTW!

If they do what they always do in the finale where everyone dances with everyone once, it'll be very interesting to see Ryan and Ashleigh dance together for the first time since their tryout.

Yeah, I was wondering about that when they both made it into the top 10. Like if/when they perform together they are going to have a lot to live up to especially chemistry wise and what if the audience doesn't feel it's there? And last time they performed together that we saw was all the way back in auditions and Ryan way outshone Ashley. Granted she has grown more than him and now I like her more, but I do think it can potentially do more harm than good. We'll see. I also think a 1hr performance finale for 6 people is a little tight. Seems like it is going to be too rushed if the do things like before and everyone dances with each other and do a solo.
I thought I would be so happy to see Molleeeee leave and I was kind of. However, I felt really bad for her, the judges consistently built her up after she did not perform well every time. In her dances with Nathan all the criticism always went to him. She probably thought she was definitely making the finals.
I was sad to see Legacy go even though I think him leaving creates the best final. Ryan has been brilliant all season and has made every girl look great. I really loved Legacy as a person and he is a brilliant b-boy. However, he was barely ever pushed this season, like last nights contemporary where he was mainly given moves to do he does all the time. I wish he was pushed more.
Anyway, the final 6 idea sucks, I guess no same sex dances :(. Why could they not just start the season one week earlier.
I am happy that Mollee is finally gone, it was definitely her time. Even though Ashleigh didn't perform on Tuesday I feel like her performance this season earned her a spot in the finale anyway. I feel pretty bummed about the final performance show being cut in half, especially since they have added two dancers! I'm not looking forward to it as much as I feel like I should be.
It's very bitersweet for me because I like every dancer left in the competition. I would really love to see Jakob or Kathryn win, but I don't think I'll be disappointed with the winner no matter who it is. I can't wait for next week! :D
Anyone watch last night? I caught the quick recap just now and thought it was a pretty good finale. I'll update with the judges favorites, and the winner of course :)
I watched and I was pretty disappointed. I think I was more disappointed that they didn't plan well and had to smash a 6 person finale into 1 hr and are going to have a 2 hr results show. They didn't even get to do SOLOS and it's a single dancer that wins in the end.
They also didn't get to do the all male or all female dance which I really missed. It's a unique part to the finale getting to see everyone dance with everyone. Especially since it was so rushed to get the dances they did plan I wish they would have scratched off the couples that had danced together before (Jakob/Ashley & Ellenore/Ryan) and replaced it with the all female/male dance numbers.
The only dance I really loved was the routine with Jakob and Kathryn, other than that I thought there were lots of good and fun but not GREAT, which is what I expect from a finale. The poor dancers looked so tired and rushed though and I felt that was the productions fault.
I could see Russell winning. I think Kathryn is the best girl left but doesn't have the personality factor to really pull in votes.
Jakob is the best guy but is also pretty quiet and though he may get votes from his connection with Jeanine I think that a lot of the viewers don't realize just how good he is because he makes it look so effortless.
Then Russell has really grown the most, has the personality and great smile and humor with the Santa outfit to make is mark and make people like him. I wouldn't be upset if he won. I think he is in the top 3 of the 6 left and he has really grown a lot and put his best efforts into the competition. He has also had to work with injured partners twice which could mess anyone up but he did quite well both times.
Top 20 did a hip-hop routine by Kelly Abbey that I thought was really good. After all, what could go wrong with chair choreography? :D
Lil C's favorite: Kevin, Legacy and Russell's hip-hop by Nappy Tabs from week 1
Adam's favorite: Ellenore and Jakob's jazz by Sonya from week 6
Nigel's favorite: Phillip, Peter, and Bianca's tap by Derick Grant from week 1
Mary's favorite: Ryan and Ashleigh's jive by...themselves?
Nigel's 2nd favorite: Jakob and Kathryn's contemporary by Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson from last night's finale
Tyce's favorite: Nathan and Mollee's Bollywood by Nakul Dev Mahajan from week 2
Time to get rid of some people...Russell messed his leg up and is in a ton of pain.
6th place: Ryan
