As I said before, JEK are not going anywhere anytime soon, love them or hate them, people are still talking.
People might be talking, but they are sure not watching. I think after this ratings dumpster dive, BMP/MTV will definitely review their casting decisions, starting with JEK.
People might be talking, but they are sure not watching. I think after this ratings dumpster dive, BMP/MTV will definitely review their casting decisions, starting with JEK.
I just posted that the Hills doesn't even get over 2 million anymore. All of MTV's shows are doing bad. Point is if MTV's flagship show is doing bad, I don't expect anything else to do well. I'm not saying I don't agree with you, because I do somewhat, but to constantly blame everything on 3 cast members is ridiculous. Someone stole the cheese, it was probably JKE!
I would Love to see The Real World: Atlanta or The Real World: Detroit. I would not like to see the Island II or the Duel III. Do you think Kenny and Johnny didn't go on the Duel II because it was an individual game?

And voila, Evan became that recruit. I think it is a coincidence that they didn't appear on Duel II, though. They would not have survived that format anyway...
I just posted that the Hills doesn't even get over 2 million anymore.
And they lost the star of their show, Lauren Conrad. Of course ratings were going to drop. That is like Fox airing House, without House.
I'm not saying I don't agree with you, because I do somewhat, but to constantly blame everything on 3 cast members is ridiculous.
I'm not blaming them, I am blaming BMP/MTV for casting them. And as hard as it is for you to admit it, ratings ARE down because people are tuning out to the monotonous challenge after challenge JEK focus...
At he Duel 2 only Evan was there out of the JEK alliance. Were the ratings that much higher on that challenge than on the Ruins?
None of the Island winners were invited.
Good to know... do you think Johnny or kenny would have made it far?
Good to know... do you think Johnny or kenny would have made it far?
No.
Good to know... do you think Johnny or kenny would have made it far?
Nope, they would have gotten called out just like Evan did over and over, but they would have had a better chance against someone like Davis or Nedermeyer than someone like Landon. Actually, if Johnny or Kenny were there I doubt Evan would have gotten called out.

There is a thread around here somewhere on it. I don't think they were as bad but I don't think any of them ever got over 2 million except for the finale, but check the thread to be sure..
Kenny & probably Johnny would have had to rely on their friendship with Evan to help them out. Depending on who was playing, even Evan might not have survived.

I think the season average was in the low 1.7 million viewers per episode range (so about 200,000 more viewers per episode using some rough math.) And we are also talking about a show in which a JEKoff won, so I don't think it makes for the best comparison. I personally knew the outcome beforehand so watched sparingly...

I personally thought the Duel 2 was boring towards the end, and I find the ruins much more enjoyable. It wasn't my idea to compare it, DerrickFTW asked. Regardless, everyone thought D2 would do amazing and it didn't.
The premiere did 1.7 million just in 12-34 and well over 2 million (although I don't have the exact figure) across all demos.
The Duel 2 picked up over 2 million? I thought 1.7 million was the entire number. If thats the case, then the Duel 2 should've made the Top 10 on Media Life for its premiere week, but it did not. What happened? If it did in fact recieve over 2 million, then the ratings made a downward spiral, because the ratings were in the 1.5 million range by about Episode 5 I believe.

Sure Johnny and Evan faced off in the Gaunlet 3 but it wasnt JEK yet. My personal wish, Kenny vs Evan, but only way this will happen is: a)they have a huge falling out before the challenge b)they have no other choice c)they get chosen by their team(s). I think thats only JEK moment that will be worth a **** in the future..if JEK ever return.
My sources tell me Evan is done. So that takes him out. Thank God!! But I am sure he will be back.. They always come back.
Evan done? I don't like JEK, but out of the 3 he is the most tolerable when alone and has actually proven himself. But he did win a challenge
and will win the ruins
so I wouldn't blame him.

I heard from a different source that Evan is done as well. From what I heard, he kept getting asked for Fresh Meat 2 and he kept turning it down.
If Evan is done, it could be because of the company he is starting up with Kenny or he is getting burnt out on it or he just doesn't like the idea of being part of Fresh Meat 2. ... I think Evan will end up being the new Mark and do Challenges for the next several years.

LOL ;)
The only comparison I would make will be between their ages & # of Challenges they will do. ... Trust me, I wholeheartedly believe that Evan will never be like Mark and am thankful for it. I remember watching RR1 when it first aired and they discover Mark did not make it on to RW3 when he auditioned for the house following Puck leaving. Let's just say this: I know I can trust Mark to do the right thing.
well Mark did help in screwing Landon over lol but its Mark impossible to hate him.
well Mark did help in screwing Landon over lol but its Mark impossible to hate him.
Yeah Mark was the ringleader. How would he become the next Mark? I don't get it. Mark and Evan are completely different.
I was referring to hanging out and doing Challenges into his 40s
Mark isn't in his 40's.
I didn't realize he was still 38. The man is only 5 months older than me to almost the day. My apologies to Mark. I feel that Evan will be a perennial competitor on the Challenges.
Hopefully Evan will become the next Chadwick and disappear:D Wouldn't hurt my feelings;)
Hopefully Evan will become the next Chadwick and disappear:D Wouldn't hurt my feelings;)
Ouch. That was harsh. ;)
I read on Evan's Twitter page that he is applying to grad school. Perhaps he will take some time off.
