Amazing Race 15: Episode 11 - Discussion
It Starts With An "F", That's All I'm Saying The teams continue to race in Prague, where one team decides to take a four-hour penalty when they're unable to complete a Roadblock, and another team dodges intoxicated locals while trying to complete their Detour.
I can't believe there are only two episodes left already. =/
Something must be wrong. They are on time here. Even Andy Rooney is already out of the way!! :D
That's what I was thinking. My mom even commented that I didn't complain about Rooney tonight. =)
I think...well, I mean - I'm just wildly speculating....that someone is going to have a penalty infracted upon them that could be pivotal in the game! Er...well, the 82 commercials saying as much during the football game where somewhat of a tip off. Survivor - it is almost always a trick. Amazing Race, just the opposite. Guess we will see.

After all, Big Easy is doing the Road Block...and he's not the brightest crayon in the box.
Well, at least she doesn't have to go back and find the telephones again...
Wow. What a low move!!
Haha, so glad he didn't tell him. Very snake like. Anyway, the phone setup was interesting, but jumping in a freezer for two minutes is going to take everyone two minutes so I don't see the point. Oh and I wonder how far back Brian and Ericka really are? Did they show departure times? I wasn't paying attention during the first five minutes.
I don't see why he would have told him, of course big easy had no problem telling them his answers cause they were always wrong. I'm sure he really would have kept it to himself if he was the first to get it right.
Oh snap! The Globe Trotters are in last. Like WAAAAAAAAY last.
Oh and I wonder how far back Brian and Ericka really are? Did they show departure times? I wasn't paying attention during the first five minutes.
I don't remember if they said it or not. I don't know about you guys, but if I had those five letters, "Franz" probably would've been one of the first words I came up with.
I don't know about you guys, but if I had those five letters, "Franz" probably would've been one of the first words I came up with.
Ya, but I do those scrambler word puzzles in the paper too. :D Anyway, 4 hours - that is just about impossible to overcome. The only twist I can see would be a "keep racing to the finish" clue... Otherwise they are probably doomed.
And the title of the episode should have been: "You guys don't have jobs?!?"
I shouldn't have eaten so much ice cream, because Meghan and Cheyne coming in first again makes me want to puke.
And the title of the episode should have been: "You guys don't have jobs?!?"
Haha, agreed. Great in the moment line.
Why the hell doesn't Flight time do the damn challenges? That big dude is totally useless with puzzles and stuff... He probably would have figured that out.
Yessssssssssssssss. So they just got to skip the freezing for 2 minutes part? Too bad.
Woooooo couldn't have gone better.
I am going to predict they finish in the order they came across the line tonight.
I am going to predict they finish in the order they came across the line tonight.
That's what I was thinking too. Although the finish line doesn't look familiar at ALL...and I've been to Vegas way too many times.
This episode made me very happy:D I am rooting for Sam and Dan! It seems too obvious that Megan and Cheyne would win.
That's what I was thinking too. Although the finish line doesn't look familiar at ALL...and I've been to Vegas way too many times.
Never mind, I figured it out :D
Let's go Sam and Dan!! I am assuming that the black/white couple went home? I forgot it was on. Can someone tell me?
Let's go Sam and Dan!! I am assuming that the black/white couple went home? I forgot it was on. Can someone tell me?
No, the Trotters went home.
Why would you take the 4 hr penalty when you are trying to get to the final 3 and all the teams have passed you? You couldn't use those 4 hours to try all the possible options? Really?! Dumb dumb move. Excited for next week! Looks like lots of fun tasks. I think they will finish in the same order they came in this week also. Can't wait!

Stupid mistake on the Trotters part.
That was the dumbest moves ever!!! 24 options!!! They deserve to go home.
Not to mention that once Dan gave him the first letter, he really only had 24 options. Stupid mistake on the Trotters part.
Really bad move. He seems like he just looses focus when he gets frustrated with the watch task and this phone task. If I was there I would have just gone through the form as fast as I could writing down all possibilities. A shorter penalty like 2hrs is one thing, you could probably make that up, but 4 hrs! No way. Top 3 man! Top 3! You can't just give up...
I can't believe flight time was agreeing with the choice to take the penalty though, even if I don't like them I still thought he would be smarter than that. I had a dream last night that I watched the finale already. haha Sam and Dan finished first, Meghan and Cheyne finished about ten minutes after them, and Brian and Erika still had about half of the leg to do by the time the others were finished. We'll see. :)
In the end, Dan was the death of the Globetrotters. I'll bet that if Dan had been gone before Big Easy got in there, Big Easy would have figured it out in under an hour. The key was when Dan said he was not sure if it was a Czech word or an English word. That was the game changer that started the death spiral for the Trotters...
