I plan on reading them again beginning on the 1st of November, LOL.
I will join you, maybe we should get Insider on it, too!
I'm in!!! :) I wish we could all watch New Moon together.
That would be so amazing! I am going at midnight on the 19th and I will report back.
I am afraid though that I am going to see most of the movie through clips before it even comes out!
I am amazed that there is not New Moon pandemonium in this thread. Have my repressive twilight tactics worked? lol. ;)
There are other vampire shows to obsess about. Twilight/ New Moon is for children.
Oh goodie, the first review is in! The Twilight Saga: New Moon :: rogerebert.com :: Reviews
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" takes the tepid achievement of "Twilight" (2008), guts it, and leaves it for undead. You know you're in trouble with a sequel when the word of mouth advises you to see the first movie twice instead.
hahahhahhahaha.

I don't know what happened this weekend but I was firmly in team Edward in all of the books (Emmett is still my fav but you know what I mean) and all of a sudden...I like Jacob.
Now, I'm not a fan of the book but I guess seeing it visually and how hurt Jacob was...I can relate to him more. Are we supposed to identify with Bella? Because she's selfish as a ****.

Yeah she did seem selfish. I liked New Moon better than Twilight...

The wolf pack seems fun, I can't wait for their interaction with the cullens in the next movies because that was my favorite part of the books.
New Moon was way better than twilight, but I'm sick of the lack of the cullens (not Edward his family).
BTW, the most chilling part of the movie? Where all those humans are touring the Volturi castle and then all you hear is them screaming when they find out they are being eaten...thats horrible.

It is worse in the books. I wasn't thrilled with the shot of Bella and Edward running from Alice's vision, I think they could have made Bella look better than they did as a vampire. I need to go see it in a theater though before I make my final judgments on the specific scenes though.

I can tell you exactly what happened. You saw Taylor Lautner's smoking hot body. He did an amazing job in the film. I was also firmly rooted on the Team Edward side of the fance. Now, I'm feeling me some Jacob. I definitely identify with the hurt that he felt. Having read all 4 books... I know I'll end up on Team Edward again... but for the time being... GO TEAM JACOB! (actually.. Bella should stick to Edward. Can I have Jacob?)
Sadly that parody is exactly what I thought of the movie, except they left out the best lines! How could they forget "You're sort of beautiful" and "Age ain't nothin' but a number, baby"?! Seriously, I had a mini laughing fit in the theater when heard those gems :)
