Speakin' of Asians, i don't mind all them Asian American female cuties they manage to bring every now and then, but seriously, why can't they EVER bring at least ONE fullblooded Asian American male to be a castmember? It worked well on Survivor (my man Yul Kwon won Cook Islands with his awesome brain) so why not just bring a guy so there's finally a level of equality that's already present with the African American community (as in we get both male and female African Americans distributed evenly). Once again a prime example of the producers being morons and not listening to the fans!!!:(
Does Sarah Palin still live in Alaska? It would be a swell job for those who support her political stance and a nightmare for those who don't if the show was in Alaska and the job was assisting Sarah Palin in some form.

yeah seriously!!!
The ratings for the Real World would skyrocket if they casted an asian-american male. Because there is a lack of asians in the media, any asian who popped up would get immediate support from the asian community. Seriously, asians who never watched the real world would watch it just to support the asian-american male.
Real World 24 should eithier be in Atlanta or Canada
Atleast an Asian Male and Single Parent,Socialite or Socialite and tbh IDK they have had basically every type of person besides these Three.

I don't think any single parent in their right mind would want to leave their child for more than 24 hours, let alone 3 months. I don't see that ever happening.
Yeah...
In case you forgot, RW casts adolescents/young adults ages 18-24 (sometimes flexible with 25) who wanna live in a mansion that they couldn't possibly pay themselves or everyone combining their fortunes and party every night as well as try not to get fired from their job, so as to teach them responsibility.
I know im just saying that those are some people never to be on the show and the RW does offer great oppurtunity to get exposed but anywho forgwt the last detail.I Just want an Asian-Male and someone from a foriegn country like the VH1 shows that would be fun to watch.
I think that it would be interesting to see a little person on The Real World.
(nods in agreement)
Breathtaking!
I shall call him...Mini-Me!!!:D

When did a VH1 show cast those kinds of people?
When did a VH1 show cast those kinds of people?
Does Markus from Surreal Life 4 count? The Calvin Klein model who developed a close friendship with Mini-Me in that edition.
Does anyone know how long the real world will be in production, I know they are set to do until season 26, but does that mean its going to end after that?
No, it just means the current contract is for four seasons. That is all.
Because it's so popular, by the time season 25 or 26 starts production, they'll probably start negotiations on extending the contract for a few seasons more. Who knows, the show might reach all the way to 30!!! Anyone still fan enough to see it happen that way?
As much as i detested Cancun to the point that i couldn't watch it at all, i do plan on watching DC. "Normal" cities are simply more stable and authentic IMO than "Sin Cities" like Vegas and Cancun.

Really? I loved Vegas and Cancun, as well as Hollywood. IMO those were the best seasons. Vegas should have easily beaten Austin as best season. Austin was good though, but not better than Vegas

I've seen Vegas and Hollywood. I even have the Vegas box *** DVD along with the first New York box *** DVD. Vegas was more or less allright when they were dealing with their issues, rather than getting drunk every night and screwing each other's brains out in the tub or in the confessional. Which was why i liked watching the latest happenings concerning Arissa learning to trust people due to her hard life and dealing with her clingy family members. Come to think of it, the main reason i liked Vegas was because of Arissa's story. And that's also why i liked Reunited, since i always looked forward to seeing whether her and Irulan's friendship could be back on track and fixable. I also liked watching Brynn and her struggles such as the infamous fight that included throwing the fork at Steven and the aftermath, her romance with Austin that as history proved, turned out to be the real deal since they're happily married and with a couple of kids.:)
I guess those were the primary reasons that i could like Vegas and tolerate it despite it obviously being the turning point in how the RW shows' formula would usually be. Due to there being a couple of people who had real dilemnas that they went through and came out on top, with cameras following their every move. All the other stuff with Steven/Frank/Trishelle of the hook ups and the romances and what not wasn't really my cup of tea in terms of what i preferred watching though i knew i had to get through that to see what i really wanted to see in every episode.
As for Hollywood, i saw it and i liked it. Joey and Brianna were my favorite roommates due to their situations being as real as it gets while the others were living the "good life" drinking every night and 2 particular females being ignorant regarding Bri's job... And in all fairness, the show would've been better from the beginning without ever including he who must not be named. That guy was always in his own planet, where he really believed that he was the bomb diggity.
The reason i could never get into Cancun was because it just seemed like there were no "real" people there. I could only watch episode 1 to the fullest and everyone just seemed like they were picked because they were the type of people who really didn't have much drama in their lives to face and the most likely immature and irresponsible bunch they could've picked. Makes me wonder whether BMP drew names out of a hat or something when they picked the 8 castmembers.
Does anyone know what the highest rated season ever is? The Hollywood crew said that it was their season but I heard that is actually Vegas. Although, didn't Chicago have better ratings than Vegas?

Hollywood did not have the highest ratings ever. No way a newer season would ever come close to having a highest rated season.
Was it ever confirmed that the episode with the Chicago cast finding out about 9/11 was staged?
Yes. The cast was actually at Wrigley Field for a photo shoot when they found out about September 11th.
Was it ever confirmed that the episode with the Chicago cast finding out about 9/11 was staged?
I think so. The cast was actually in a stadium doing something show related, a photo shoot perhaps when they heard about 9/11. Of course, the whole cast tuning into a house tv finding out about 9/11 had to be staged, first and foremost because televisions in RW houses have pretty much been discontinued since after London. The producers weren't getting the drama they wanted because of the castmembers just laying around watching the telly so from then on, take away that form of entertainment, and bingo: guaranteed drama and higher ratings!:D
For 22 seasons, 'The Real World' has graced our television sets with some of the most memorable events ever. So here's a general thread on some of your favorite moments. It can be anywhere from Tami and Dave's blanket incident to Isaac skinny dipping in the house fish tank. What are some of your favorite 'Real World' Moments?
Who remember on the Miami season when Melissa got totally pwned by Sarah and her friends? Sarah asks Melissa if she can invite her friends to the restaurant they were going to eat at and Melissa responds, "If they can afford it", implying that Sarah's friends were "poor". Sarah's friends went to the dinner, and not only were they able to "afford" it, but they also paid for Melissa's table's check too. Classic Real World moment.
What are some of your favorites or memorable moments?
As I recall, they brought the TV afterward that day so they could watch. I don't ever recall them asserting that they were watching it on TV as it started to unfold.
Today, i was thinking about the London cast, Lars in particular. He was the DJ then and is still a DJ now. I believe he said that he, as well as the majority of the London cast, never really got along with Jacinda during the show because she was supposedly such a drama queen that the others didn't know if she ever had a sincere moment, given that they thought that she was only acting during the recording and the fact that she's a successful actress nowadays could be a strong indicator of that.
I also had the thought that if Lars kept in touch with at least one of the London castmembers, it might be Neil because they both were musicians at the time. Lars being a DJ, and Neil being a punk rock singer; although Neil is no longer involved in music nowadays and lives in the states with a job that i can't quite remember what it is at the moment but i think was something important, like a management position in some company. But i would think that since they had that aspect in common, they might've had some long chats back in the day about what music they liked, whether they shared similar interests in some genres, things like that.
So I am re-watching one of my favorite RW seasons, San Diego.
Does anyone know the status of Frankie and Dave's relationship after the show, before she passed away? I know at the time of the reunion Frankie said they had worked things out, but I was wondering if they remained together. If not, anyone know the reason behind it or what happened?
i don't know the answer to your question but i'm just wondering where you are watching real world san diego? i've been wanting to watch it for the longest time now but could never find it!
