Ha it's funny to me how when the seasons were only half an hour, I would stop watching after four or five episodes, but with the hour long ones I watch every episode. It just got annoying when they had 30 episodes.

Doesn't this bring you back.... YouTube - Real World History: 22 Seasons of Intros
It is weird looking at how different the casts looked and dressed in earlier seasons and now.

CT and David both sound and look so hot when they say "start getting real." Must be a Boston thing. Doesn't Emilee say "start getting real" in the Cancun intro too? Must really be a Boston thing.
I haven't seen all of the first season yet. Is it worth watching?

PS. Notice on that video, CJ says 8 "people" instead of strangers. BMP tweeted that today so they must of had something to do with it. CJ doesn't say people on the show, he says strangers. Any earlier season is worth watching....
Hawiia and Cancun bothed used Paradise
It does...but doesn't one say loft? Chicago maybe? I don't know..I don't feel like watching, lol.
New York says "picked to live in a loft" and just says "The Real World" at the end Los Angeles says Real World: California. Miami's says "and start a business" instead of "have their lives taped" Boston's has "volunteer some time and have their lives taped" Seattle's says "7 people" and "picked to live on a pier" and was the first to mention "work together" Hawaii's says "picked to live in paradise" New Orleans says "picked to live in a mansion" Chicago says "live in a loft" and was the first to have everyone say "The Real World" at the end Las Vegas says "picked to live in a casino" Paris says "picked to live in France" Denver's has "Colorado" thrown on at the end Sydney's says "picked to live down under" Cancun's says "8 people" and "picked to live in paradise" and was the first in recent seasons to not feature all roommates saying the location

Wonder why Cancun didn't say people on TV? And it actually sounds kind of edited now in that I listened to it carefully.
ATLANTA!!!!!!!!! or Oralndo
I was thinking the new season would probably be on the West coast because the last few have been east coast.
Well actually Hollywood and Cancun were in the west.DC and Brooklyn were in the north. The south hasnt been portrayed since Key West
Just wondering what places you would like future RW taping to be? I would like to see: -Arizona (Tempe or Flagstaff) -Somewhere rural/out in the country -A tropical island -A college campus (say 7 incoming freshman strangers all living in a house...) -Somewhere in Africa -Cape Cod or Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard -Somewhere in Canada Where would you like a future RW season to be taped?
They have to go to Canada. They've done just about ever major U.S. city so go north of the border and have a summer season in Canada. Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal would all be great.

I doubt it'd happen next season, but maybe the season after that.
A way to increase their ratings would be to get a really diverse cast, ethnicity wise. They really need to step it up and pick a diverse cast and make it "real" instead of casting people who are like mini celebrities.
how about Rio De Janeiro, a mixture of Miami and New Orleans.
how about Rio De Janeiro, a mixture of Miami and New Orleans.
...with a crime rate way higher!!
...with a crime rate way higher!!
thats only in the surrounding slums, if they keep the the city and beaches they should be alright
thats only in the surrounding slums, if they keep the the city and beaches they should be alright
I don't think they would take that chance, Rio is one of the most violent cities in the world, even their gangs have been spilling out into the city and higher-class neighborhoods.
A college campus (say 7 incoming freshman strangers all living in a house...) create concept for a new series like his should be Fresh Meat.
Yeah I think that show would be a good one. They could replace "College Life" on MTV with something like that.
my only issue with the idea (which is actually a good idea) would be that freshmen would all be underage so you would not get all the drunken drama. You would need to at least put 1 21 year old in there to do the beer run unless you found a bunch of 21+ year old freshmen.
