The Challenge Series: RW/RR (Generic Thread)

I agree with Rambo that it was pathetic when Coral bounced on G3 because she didn't like how she was treated, when she did treat others like that in the past. But I disagree that she is a weak competitor. She was the best female on her team on G3 next to Ev, kept winning with Evan on FM, best on her team on I1 and G1. I think the vets team only targeted her on G3 was because the other girls were easier to manipulate.

Kenny's not so bad out of the trio he's the most likeable and on his own he should be good TV

He isn't the greatest competitor and he needs Evan to win and lead people or have Johnny come off as the jerk and bully people. 2. His being a jerk is all centered on those people now. If you cut him out I think he will actually be less entertaining without them. I have a feeling though this challenge will humble Kenny. Fingers crossed

Best on her team on G1 & I1? No way. She may have been the only girl to make it to the end, but not because she was the strongest, it was through her connections on the team (mainly with Mike's leadership role) and manipulation. She was absolutely TERRIBLE on G1, the weakest player on the Real World team for about half the season and Rachel, Irulan, and Trishelle were all way more consistent than Coral was during their time on the show. She did a little better on I1, but she wasn't a dominant player by any stretch of the imagination. Mallory and Trishelle were the two strongest girls on the team but they fell prey to Coral's manipulation tactics and weren't able to stick around long. Battle of the Sexes 2, don't really care because the challenges on that show weren't very physical. Fresh Meat... rode Evan's coat tails. A little ironic that Coral has never been a dominant, consistent player that always wins on challenges until she was paired up with him, don't you think? And as for G3, I wouldn't say she was the strongest either. She didn't do all that great in any of the missions and whenever there was a mission where somebody on the team got an easy job, Coral always volunteered for it. Her attitude and bullying might've intimidated the old school challenge people and helped her out in the game but these new school people aren't impressed or intimidated by her BS one bit.

Coral sucked in the missions in the gauntlet 1 BEFORE she went into the gauntlet. Like "snake soup, mudbath, holey canoe". but after she went into the gauntlet in episode 5 she kicked butt in every single mission after that. So she did not suck in the Gauntlet 1. She had a great time in the "inferno" mission, lasted long on the "rolling on the river" mission, lasted long on the "turntable" mission, hit the target in the "red baron" mission and got the 2nd FASTEST time in the "dukes of saturn" mission out of everybody (both road rules and real world). In the inferno 1, coral only did bad in like 2 missions which was when you had to climb the net and get the bag and then get inside the saturn...etc. and the one when you had to pull the lever after climbing the ropes from the water. She did well in every other mission. It seems like people personally don't like her so they just say she sucks at a competitor too. I have all the seasons on my labtop, please re-watch it and see how well she does.

will Fresh meat become a yearly thing? I am only asking because FM2 was supposed to happen insteqad of the Gauntlet III but Road Rules Viewer's Revenge happened and they didn't need it. Just wondering if anyone had any knowledge

I really doubt FM will happen every year. FM is a part of the challenges, and to have FM every year would produce too many FM people. Plus it would make the challenges very inflexible in format. Road Rules was a separate show from challenges, but FM is not. I think after FM2, BMP will have a new group of people to choose from as well as the original FM, and it should last them for a while. Just my thoughts/guesses.

Seeing TJ Lavin 8 times in a row gets boring very fast. If Dave is no longer available, how about they put in someone "new" like Mat Hoffman or Tony Hawk? They were present in a lot of MTV's *******' stunts and they both had fun doing them. BMP should give both of them a call to see if they're interested. If not, since Rob Dyrdek is currently making a name for himself in MTV with his shows, he could be a fresh face and a good host to these Challenges.

The Jillian news sounds good to me!:) I'm glad her and Frank are still together, i just wonder whether she'll be doing the Challenge alone this time or will Frank accompany her as well? I'm also starting to think that the reason BMP doesn't use Jonny Moseley anymore is not because he's a sucky host, but it's because the majority of the hosts they pick are from extreme sports (TJ Lavin and Dave Mirra are both involved in different BMX genres of sport) considering they want the Challenges to be as extreme as can be, Jonny Moseley being a skier which isn't exactly considered an extreme sport (although it is a Winter Olympic one for sure) nowadays counts against him. Just a theory.

There extreme plus there always looking for avenues where they can get there brand out there... & there's a ton of cool snoboarders that would great to watch...

The Challenge gig now seems to be all that's in his life, financially speaking. Shouldn't he stay more active in the dirt BMX circuit and keep his music career going?! Cause i'll tell you, i am now down for watching "Fresh Meat 2", but if TJ's the host AGAIN, that doesn't mean i'll stop viewing, but especially since it's FM, if we're gonna have more new Challengers, how about a new host to make it more even?
