Side note, Jo and Wes vibe on bed was that of I hate you but want to jump your bones. Jojo is that you smirking? I truly do not see the appeal in Kenny.
That's the whole point of these shows. I don't watch for people to be nice to each other. I watch for the Veronica's to manipulate people to vote how she wants. I watch for the Evan's to backstab people. Are these people morally suspect? By what we see on TV, yes, they are, but I'm not sure how many of us know them in real life. They are doing a show to provide entertainment, and while you may not enjoy it, other people do.
If I wanted to watch people be nice to each other, I'd go people watch at my local church, but even then I'm sure I'd find people just as shady as JEK.
Nope, people being so conniving and willing to do anything, people being so hypocrite and doing such shady things behind people's backs is not the whole point of these shows. I have watched every single challenge and these people (JEK) have taken this to an all-time low. JEK and company have a lot to learn from the real Veterans. The things this people are doing these days are just too much. I remember the first challenges and they were entertaining even though people weren't all nice to each other. At least back in the day people would do these things to people's faces. The new kids on the block are obviously too scared to pull these moves by being upfront and letting people know what they're planning on doing. That's why I have some respect for Wes, he at least lets them know when he's planning on throwing missions.
These challenges have moved so apart from what they used to be that I might have to reconsider if I really want to continue watching them. I remember when these shows used to get me excited and I used to enjoy the type of drama that would unfold. These days I see myself simply getting ****** at what I see.

I agree. There's such a thing as "too much" drama in these Challenges, and I am on the same boat with everyone else when they say this Challenge is wayyy too ridiculous. So many things going on. So much scheming. So much screaming. My head is spinning....
If you love when people have no morals and are willing to do anything in order to win then I can see why you love JEK. Seems like you have a good challenge to look forward to then. Enjoy.
While I am not disputing that JEK's morals are questionable, why do you suggest that anyone on the show is any more "moral" than them? We know the clips we are shown provide a certain angle of the story... I'm sure there are PLENTY of unseen things that would make us question all of our favorites...

I'm aware that I'm obsessed with Kenny, but how could you NOT see the appeal of him? He's a beautiful man! There aren't many men on that show that can compete with that face! :)

I didnt suggest anything. If I feel the need to say anything about any cast member I can just say it, I don't need to suggest it. I talked about JEK because you mentioned them and because based on the way they portrait themselves and on what's given to us, they certainly stand out in the horrible department. When I see other castmembers behave like JEK do, I will comment on that too. In the meantime I'm not willing to pass judgment on what I haven't seen. I can only go by what I have actually seen.
These type of moments just make me love Ev even more. In turn makes me dislike the so called JEK way more! Them controlling the challenges mainly Evan it's getting repetitive. I think we all need a breath of fresh air. We all know what is going to happen and we know who is going to the end. I still watch because I freaking love it and to me that is what you call a true fan. I don't bail out even if the franchise has a couple of bad episodes. Anyway back on track all i'm saying is that the ball has been in the same court for a while you know what I mean. As, For Ev quitting yes it may have been out of character but she proved KARMA was a *****. Even though she quit everyone knows she is #1 and the Champions will pay. Team Ev :)

And I'm certainly not trying to stir up trouble I just always remember that what I'm seeing is what MTV is choosing for me to see and in that way they are characters...

did I miss the part where Emily was totally upfront with Veronica when she had her sent home twice? She didn't like her, so she had her sent home. JEK don't like Wes so they're trying to send him home. Are they being extreme about it? Yeah, but that's the part they play.

The difference between Emily and JEK is that Emily retired from the Challenges because she knew she was being portrayed as the villain. She knew when to stop. Too bad I can't quite say the same for others...

Not even Emily's bi***'s move compare to some of the things the new kids on the block have been doing. And yes, Emily always made it clear that she couldn't stand Veronica and didn't care about letting her know that she was sending her home.
And I'm certainly not trying to stir up trouble I just always remember that what I'm seeing is what MTV is choosing for me to see and in that way they are characters...
In all honesty MTV wouldn't be able to portrait this people like villains if they didn't play their part and gave them the footage needed. Editing can only do so much... Also, the way they behave in interviews is not much different than the way they're portraited on the challenges.
I agree that it was nasty of Johanna to threaten to sell Wes's house. I was shocked by that. Wes needs to get that in his name ASAP.
I'm wondering if I missed something else Susie did in the episode. I know she voted for Ev and KA, but I can remember more than that. It is possible I missed something since I wasn't as focused on the show tonight. I have disliked the way Susie has been on the shows for a while now, VR and I3 on. I agree with people who once named Susie as one of their favorites from the past, but had their love for her lessen.
I kind of agree with people like cystic who feel that in this challenge, there may actually end up being too much drama. I thought that from seeing the trailer, with all the violence. I was intrigued by what was happening (and why it happened), but felt it was kind of extreme looking. Apparently some of the cast members agreed (Katie didn't seem happy with things from her interview).
I am ready to see more of the other people on the show, and it looks like I will see that next week, although the Veronica & Evan stuff seems a little gross to me. Then again, maybe most of the hookups are like that to me lately. I don't want to see that clip of Johanna and Kenny from The Island again, for instance (has nothing to do with Wes feeling betrayed by them, even though he wasn't dating Johanna then).
I think Wes and other people who did not want JEK running things should have come up with an alliance before Wes went power crazy and decided to throw challenges because things weren't his way. I can't blame people not wanting to side with him after that. I think being involved with him after that will not make you look loyal to the team. I think if it was decided that the girls were to choose whoever they wanted to go in if selected, it was shady of the team to do what they did to Ev. If not, I think it wasn't the most respectable thing, but I don't think it was nearly as nasty as the shenanigans of the Vet team on G3. Plus I think Casey should not be picked, at least until the end, if not ever, so she can weaken the Challenger team more. It made sense to pick KA strategically for the team (sans the motive for annoying Wes, even). About the fact that it could annoy Wes - did they really have to do it if he was more willing to play fairly at that point? Wes did try to throw a mission before, though.
I wonder what exactly people have against KA. It needs to be brought to light so we can understand the slight vitrol people have for her (i.e. Kim really seems to dislike her). Is she like Tonya was on I2 or something?
Some of you people annoy me..
I am pretty sure that when Wes let Joho sign for him that he trusted her and was fine with it because he was in love with her.
People can say what they want about their being "too" much drama but I love it. I honestly hope that the people who feel this way expected to watch another boring season where JEK tells everyone how things are gonna work and run the show. I'm glad that Wes and EV are standing up against them so please stop complaining.
And wow... all you people saying that nobody is scared of Wes.
hmmmm.. where do I began?
Darrell - backing out of a fight with Wes that Wes CLEARLY wasnt backing down from. Darrell your a chump.
Evan - Crying like a little baby "we didnt know you were coming on the show!"
Kenny - Mr I will only talk smack to Wes when im in a room with 20 other people
Johnny - Welllll... I don't think I even have to make my case with this one..
It's always Johnny, Kenny and Evan. Oh Good, Derrick voted for Evelyn, Susie voted for Evelyn, Katie voted for Evelyn. But Johnny is the bad guy! OHH, Derrick does everything they want him to do and no one hates him?
Wes treats women like ****, he's the most childish and dramatic person in the challenge and yet people think he's a Super Hero!
No one liked Evelyn on the Gauntlet 3 and now she's wonder woman because she teamed up with Wes, the KING.
Did we all watch FM 1? HMMM, Wes yelling at Johanna and insulting Casey?
When Johnny insulted the girls on the island everyone was like "Oh Johnny is a jerk!" and when Evan insulted Brittini on the Duel 2, everyone was like "Ewww, Evan is such a *******!"
But Wes does the same thing and he's a KING?
Darrel was amazing... UNTIL NOW, because he challenged Super Man Wes, he's now an idiot blah blah. Everything he said about KA was true. He told her directly, right? Everyone likes people like that right?
Wes is the cockiest person on the show, but everyone likes him. Why? I don't get it. He insults everyone. He's childish and immature.
Wes, get over yourself.
Wes treats women like ****, he's the most childish and dramatic person in the challenge and yet people think he's a Super Hero!
While this is true, he is going against people which a majority of us perceive as the problem with challenges (i.e. why The Island was a snoozer.) Haven't you ever heard of an antihero? ;)
No one liked Evelyn on the Gauntlet 3 and now she's wonder woman because she teamed up with Wes, the KING.
I'll admit I'm a convert after once being one of her biggest critics. She was always athletic and deserved to be held in high regard physically on the Challenges, but in the last few years I have seen another side of her which makes me appreciate her as a person, beyond the game.
The Island speech was definitively a turning point for me and the raw emotion she showed on the aftershow last night was further indication that indeed she is human and not a Challenge robot.
This is a show. This is game. For money. These people know what they sign up for, and they're smart enough to know how to strategize. I'm sure they sleep very well at night. And where were Evelyn's "morals" when she decided to "cut the fat" (the other "unworthy" women) on G3?
I agree that there is a certain amount of "strategizing," but when you blindside one of your teammates who has been nothing but loyal and an asset with as bull**** a move as this one, that's just DUMB. Did they really think she would be okay with it? Besides, at least Ev saw she was wrong on G3 to try and "trim the fat" after the fact, and apologized for it. I know it hasn't been that long yet, and I haven't heard much from anyone else on the Champions team, but it doesn't seem like Johnny was terribly sorry on the Aftershow.
Here's my two cents on the whole selling the house bit: If Wes was dumb enough to put her name on the title, then she has every right to sell it.
My parents still have the title over my car even though I make the payments, and if they wanted to, they could sell it because they own it.
He was bragging about how wealthy he was, but he forgot to have the title put in his name?
I'm glad she did what she did because she outsmarted him. I'm so tired of seeing these men think they can walk all over the women. Johanna proved otherwise. The smart ones usually seem the most shady, but if they were playing poker, she had the better hand.
They were in love, and he probaly felt like he could trust her. That gives her no right to try to bring up something that personal into a game.
Wes was only bragging because Darrell backed him into a corner. Wes was trying to be friendly, and it was obvious that he actually respected Darrell, but Darrell said some pretty offensive things. What did you expect Wes to do?
Its funny how people overlook all the things Darrell said, and then when Wes retaliates, they jump all over him.
Oh Johanna, what was that? I really like her, though I can't explain why. I always felt an empathy for her, but now is getting harder and harder to me to continue to like her.
I think that was an empty threat, but an uncool threat. I guess I will wait for the next episodes to make up my mind, but that was really low.
On the other hand, I can't really stand KA. Laughing hypocritally out loud to Johanna hear and things like that make me dislike her even more. Well, her behaviour in RW Sidney explains why I don't like her...
I really hope that Johanna and Wes can become good friends when this challenge is over (i.e. I hope they are good friends now) and that they can forget these stupid things that happen on the show...
You were just going with your gut instinct?
Oh course! And she did end up winning in the big picture. Better to go down sticking a knife in the back of your "oppressors" than kneeling to them! :D

right. People keep saying they were in love, but how long had they been broken up when she brought it up? If he failed to have it taken care of in that amount of time then good for her for holding it over his head.
Darrell was talking about KA, and yeah some of the things he said were harsh, but it was Wes started bragging about being wealthy and owning businesses, but he technically didn't own his house, Jo did. Funny how he didn't mention that in his rant. The point is: they are no longer together, her name shouldn't be on any of his stuff, let alone his house.
I used to like johanna, But not when she brings empty threats to the game.
I felt bad for Evelyn and KA. I think it was wrong, on so many levels, to pit BFF's against eachother so early on. I understand it would probably eventually happen, but so early in? Come on. When Katie voted she was so nervous as said "the same I guess" she is usually out spoken but you can see how bad she felt.
He does technically own his house--they're joint owners. My parents' names are both on the deed to their house, but that doesn't mean that my mom is the sole owner or my dad is the sole owner. They both have every right to do what they want with the property. Wes also does own businesses, I don't know how wealthy is, but I'd venture to say he's pretty well off if he can afford to buy a house. It's also really hard to change the deed of a house once it's been bought. It's a legal document. They were engaged, so obviously they thought that this was going to be the house they raised a family in and stuff--they didn't see the breakup coming when they bought it, I'm sure.

And people keep saying it's hard to change titles. It's not as hard as you're making it sound. Yeah you have to go through a process but he's had enough time to take care of it. I've got two family members who work with nothing but titles and have to deal with stuff like this.
My mom works with titles too, and it really depends on the state's laws. I know their house is in Arizona, so it could be that Arizona has really strict laws on changing the title. I know that it's super difficult in Maryland.
To the people who keep bringing up Evelyn from Gauntlet 3....... She was a ****** on that challenge and she'll admit it. She's openly apologized for that. She knows what she did on that challenge was wrong. But the difference between her and Johnny/Kenny/Evan is, SHE LEARNS FROM IT. She changed! She hasn't acted like that ever since. Now, Johnny/Kenny/Evan act like this on every challenge, knowing **** skippy they're gonna come off as villians, and then after the show complain about how they were portrayed because in the end it's just a game. It's a broken record anymore. Why can't they just admit they're ****?
