I kind of feel that's a big reason Wes is there as well. Didn't Wes say to Darrell that he's rich in one of the dailies? I don't really know how much money Wes has, but Wes owns a couple of businesses. I don't think he is as interested in winning the money as he may be been previously on other challenges. However, I don't think he would mind winning some, either. And I agree with molds - I do think it's possible he can win money on this challenge.
Yeah he was telling Darrell he was richer than him, because he owned businesses and Darrell was just a personal trainer. It's definitely possible that he can win money.
Did anyway see the previews on MTV for the next episode? I just saw it and it looks good. I can't wait till Wes explodes on Johnny!!
That is going to make my week! I dislike Johnny about as much as I disklike Veronica, so the only thing I won't like about Wes' explosion is that he won't be able to give Johnny the beating I'd love to see him get lol

Haha, join the club :). I love when Wes says "I can't wait to beat the **** outta you!"
Yes next episode looks good... We got Wes screamin at johnny..
Shavoun pops her implant, Kelly Anne and Eveyln face off, and Dunbar fights with kenny i think...

I don't understand why Wes is still there. He isn't going to make money if his plan does not work. JEK want to stay in the game. If he is as tough as he thinks, why not fight? If he thinks he could win- thats a way to get JEK kicked off with him (or at least one) and they dont get money. JEK have motivation to to fight. Wes really have no reason not to. So from that I call BS on Wes.
Also, I have never understood why people think Wes is so strong. Freash Meat eliminations were all based on endurance, which he has. Same with the finally for the duel. Im not saying he is not strong, but I dont see any reason to think he is the stronger guy there.
Wes is making the only play he can, and should make. He knows he is the sacrificial lamb of the team, and it is most likely already planned that he would be going in if his team wins the missions. If his team loses, then he forces the challengers to make the call to call him out. If I am Wes, I'd prefer to go into a Ruin with the incentive on taking someone else's bank as opposed to losing my own. In addition, by allowing the other team to win where he has a few allies, he may even be spared having to go in. His only mistake was showing his trump card to his team.
While he is arrogant, you have to be when you are aligned with power clicks like J/K/E and other tools too ignorant to see the overall agenda. And Johanna, well she is pretty pathetic and brainwashed.
As for talent, he is the strongest overall player they have, by far. Even Evan acknowledged that Wes could be used to rid themselves of the stronger competition.
Kelly Anne is hot i dont think she will stay with Wes. most connections on reality TV are just on and off or temporary.
Ya and they live a long ways apart.. I dont see it lasting either.. But its interesting for the time being on the challenge..
Anyone following Joey and Evan on Twitter? This could get amusing. :dirol:
I don't think its that serious. Its funny to see them interact. Evan seems to be pretty good friends with Emilee and Derek so im sure its just all in fun.
out of the JEK "clique" the only one i can stand is Evan. Yes he whines but if he hurts someone he is close to i feel like he does feel bad for it. After he did that to Paula the last challenge you could tell he did feel a little bad for it. Kenny and Johnny do not care who they walk all over and will throw anyone under the bus. Johanna was one of my favorites until she got mixed in with those two. As for her and Wes i think he is just upset that what happened between her and kenny happened on national television. you can tell he loves her and would love to have her back. if i were him i would be hurt too if she was taking the side of two d-bags who are constantly against me.
I just don't see what is so bad about Wes. he can come off as very arrogant but so can 80% of the people there on the challenge.
Evan is probably the worst one because he acts so nice in people's face then stabs them in the back. The way he did to his good friend Coral. He is a ****** and a low life who pretends to be the nice guy. I can so see through his facad which is why I hate him so much. He is just as bad if not worse than J/K. He is fake, I would never trust someone like him. His whole "feeling bad for the person he screwed over afterwards" thing is all a part of his bs act as well.
I don't think its that serious. Its funny to see them interact. Evan seems to be pretty good friends with Emilee and Derek so im sure its just all in fun.
Could very well be just them joking around, though (and, again, I'm stating this saying I know NEITHER of these guys), but the impression I have of Joey is that he's not one of those guys who will say "any friend of Emilee's is a friend of mine!". Plus, Evan seems to be the kind of guy that would really irritate Joey quickly. Joey is so over the MTV thing, looks like. He changed his bio on Twitter, and it says nothing at all about being on MTV. Evan, on the other hand...
Maybe it's just because I don't like Evan, and I'm projecting...
i was surprised diem went home first it should have been casey or sara in the ruins instead.
I thought Diem told them she wanted to go in...
None of you are taking this from Wes's point of you. He is with a guy that fooled around with his ex-fiance, who is teamed up with everyone else on the champions team. Everyone is scared of Wes as a competitor, Cause lets face it, he almost won the Fresh Meat after being sent in everytime, he dominated the duel, and is looking strong so far. It must be extremely fustrating for Wes, because NO MATTER what he does, he will always be voted in. Who else is JEK gonna send in? They are pretending to be in an alliance with everyone else. The whole Kenny and Wes backstory just gives them reason to throw him in alone! Wes is standing up for himself and doing all he can to try and turn there voting into a fair way, but why would JEK sacrifice their alliance in order to make voting fair and possibly have to go in the ruins and be sent home? The fact that they sent Evelynn into the ruins just shows how shady they are. I think Wes is doing all he can. Can't blame him. He has no choice...
Come on guys, seriously. I know I'm a day late but how can you compare the relationship Cohutta had with Kelly Anne to Wes and Johanna. Sydney filmed in 2007, 2 years ago. Cohutta and Kelly Anne both admitted to not dating for a long time. Both of them were "dating." Cohutta's comment about Kelly Anne confirmed their relationship. Austin aired in 2005, 4 years ago. Wes and Johanna were engaged. That means that friends and both families were involved. Bear in mind the pressure of having Danny and Melinda as friends, them getting married, and how that must hurt to see them work it out! This kind of breakup is on another level. It takes years to get over someone you love enough to marry!
We all see how Wes acts. The idea of loving to hate him fits perfectly. When he was in Austin, I couldn't stand him. I always felt he was an undercover racist, chauvinist, and ill-mannered fool.. He has this terrible complex about himself and thinks himself higher than he is. He puts up airs that don't fit his character. And as strong as he pretends to be, he is really weak. But you know, as many issues as he has, we can all relate to him. He's authentic. Cohutta has the same disposition. His a country boy and doesn't pretend to be anything other. It's weird that Kelly Anne with the fake *****, fake lips, fake everything likes her man so real.
But anyway. I can't stand that "Evan/Johnny/Kenny" group. When did they become the leaders of this thing. Did you guys see Johnny get punked?hahahah it was so funny to see him get yelled at on the preview and just stand there like a fool. This is precisely why I don't like them. It made me miss CT. And Coral. People like them were exciting...
I just have to bring this up because I am tried of hearing how Wes DOMINATED the Duel. Had it not been for the stupidtastic soccer task in the beginning of the final challenge (and Wes having soccer experience to Brad having none), Brad would have beat Wes in the race and won the Duel. He was right on Wes' heels at the end after losing a lot of time in the soccer task. So Wes may have won, but he did not DOMINATE anything or anyone.
Wes is a 5'9 chemically-enraged little man who is not superior to many of these guys. I have no doubt that Landon, Alton, Mark, CT, and possibly Evan could take him out in an all-around competition. And depending on the event, any of the guys on his Champions team can beat him.
I have met Wes and have a family member who has done work with BMPers in SoCal events for many years. Wes acts just as entitled and bratty in the "outside world" as he does on these shows. The funny part is that he looks like a cartoon character in person and so all together it makes an amusing picture for someone who thinks so highly of himself. My opinion of course, as I know Wes has some fans on here and I don't want to insult anyone.
I love how this first episode captured how full of himself, delusional, selfish, and idiotic Wes truly is. And I'm GLAD he is being put in his place, even if it's by JEK. If anything, it raised JEK in my book because they are playing him perfectly. Wes is so smart, he smarted himself right into their hands. Now they have the team on their side, all due to Wes being such an awesome/strong/power player. Um, yeah. He also seems to forget there are other people on his team besides JEK and effectively isolated himself from them. Even some of the Challengers find Wes' behavior idiotic and hateful. My way or I throw Challenges? I'm not sleeping in the same room as THEM! Again, a fifth-grade cartoon character.
Did you guys see Johnny get punked?hahahah it was so funny to see him get yelled at on the preview and just stand there like a fool.
Actually, this just further proves to me how stupid Wes is. Johnny is not going to react to Wes because his eye is on the prize and he's not going to let some little cartoon character affect that. I didn't see it at all as Johnny being punked nor standing there like a fool. He did the smart thing and didn't react to the cartoon imp.
It doesn't take a strong or brave guy to have a tantrum in someone's face. Wes looked like an angry little fifth-grader who was upset about losing a game. Which, oh yeah, that's exactly what he is!
The fact that no one seems to support him in his tantrums except his clueless temp girlfriend also speaks volumes. Even many of the Challengers think he's behaving like an *******, Cohutta and Kim included.
And no, most of the people I know would never relate to a backwards, angry cartoon character like Wes.
Keep it up Wes!
Wes won the Duel 1 but he didn't dominate, the most dominating player was Evan who won 5 missions.
Why the **** does Wes think that he is better than the other players? Darrell is way better than him, Darrell has won 4 challenges and beat Wes in the final mission of Fresh Meat 1.
How come people say CT is a some steroid raging freak but have not said anything about Wes?
Cause Wes is a god, didn't you know that?
Wes has even admitted to using "herbal supplements" before. But Wes is a god!!
Oh, but screaming "I can't wait to beat the **** out of you!" and losing it like a psycho is absolutely normal. The dude looks like a pink hairless monkey, freaking the **** out over some game plays that his team made. He can't handle people playing him but when he plays other people, he's smart. All hail Zeus Bergman!

CT however, chased Adam in an effort to beat him to death and wrecked the property of the challenge, and on top of that, is a raging alcoholic. I don't think Wes's actions are comparible to CT's.
Maybe not comparable but that doesn't rule out the fact that Wes gained a ton of weight/muscle from FM to the first Duel. then from the first Duel to the Ruins. Please find someone else who gained as much muscle from first appearance to their next. If Darrell and Wes had gotten in a fight, and Darrell for some reason ran away, would Wes just watch him run? I don't think so. Or if Johnny had fought back, Wes would have done to him, what CT did to Adam. Maybe not as bad because they are the same size but if they were in a fist fight, Wes would do everything he could to hurt Johnny. That is what a fight is.
Because he gained weight he is on steroids? Maybe he is but we have no way of knowing that.
We wouldn't know anything about what Wes would do in a fight because we have never seen him fight.
I think Wes is behaving immature as well. I liked to see Derrick complaining about Wes' behaviour. If Wes doesn't change his game plan, he is going home sometime soon.
