The Real World Cancun Reunion: Episode Discussion

I'm gonna have to rewatch the reunion show. I think I missed a few key things because I was busy yakking about it on Twitter.

I've heard that Jonna visited Ayiiia right after the show wrapped up filming and that also could have maybe been what Ayiiia was talking about. But whooo knowwsss. BTW, at the bar last night, they played ***** and 3oh!3 all night, I felt like I was on the Real World Cancun.

WOW. Watched the reunion and that **** was crazy. With Emilee walking off set and Ayiiia saying she's with a woman now. Good for her! As for CJ, haha those long locks are gone now!

Am I the only one who didn't know that Redfoo is Barry Gordy's son, and Skyblu is Redfoo's nephew? That is crazy (about the Barry Gordy thing).

I swear I remember people saying that when the cast went back to Cancun (the first time they went back) for the premiere episode...that Ayiiia and Jonna were really close/touchy feely? Does anyone remember that. I'm almost positive I read it on here (a long time ago) and didn't make it up.

I'm almost positive I read it on here (a long time ago) and didn't make it up.[/QUOTE] B wrote that in the spoiler thread but I wasn't sure if he was talking about the finale or the time they went back for the premiere episode, this may explain why people thought Ayiiia and Jonna were going to get into a huge fight during the finale and part of the reason why the finale was so hyped up.

I was surprised, and frankly impressed, that Joey didn't throw Ayiiia under the bus. I was weirded out by how little he irritated me for the majority of the Reunion, except during his interaction with Emilee (and boy, did he get flustered there). I like how he self-deprecated his own sexual prowess, seemed hurt and scandalized when Bronne said he'd "bang anything alive", rebuffed CJ's remark about the "trophy", and didn't blame Ayiiia for the sex being bad. Well done, Joey! His "get off your period" remark was out-of-line, however, and I'm glad Emilee wiped the floor with him. Awesome. I've never been Emilee's biggest fan, but I was suitably impressed by her moxie during the Reunion. Her criticisms, albeit laden with boozy sputtering, were extremely accurate. It's amazing to witness a cast member [I]finally[/I] flagging down the boys for their catty hypocrisy -- and how Joey, the self-described instigator, has no business passing the buck onto the woman. It was hilarious how she called him the king of the circus. I can't believe Jonna had the gall to blame Ayiiia for initiating the threesome, and then lied about it. Pretty revolting. That interview between her and Pat solidified that Jonna didn't feel guilty about leading Ayiiia on -- she just felt guilty about getting called out.

I don't know if anyone picked up on this - but maybe the timing works... I got the impression that Jonna and Aiiya may have hooked up or something after the show. This would explain both of their comments... Jonna when she said she had messed things up with Pat and implied it had to do with someone else. Aiiya was clearly hurt by something with Jonna - and I don't think it was the actual letter. She cried - or almost cried about it, so I don't believe it had to do with the threesome, but something more personal. IMO, if Aiiya opened up to Jonna and tried to have a relationship with her - as her first woman girlfriend and Jonna led her on (as she has a tendency to do) - it would fit perfectly. Also, notice how neither one of them had any anger towards each other - just hurt.

I don't think Jonna gives a **** about anyone but herself. Especially since that interview with her and pat was after the reunion was taped. But yes, I agree with you on the part that Ayiiia and Jonna probably hooked up after taping.

Ayiiia didn't seem to have any animosity toward Jonna until after the reunion aired ( if any of you guys were following her twitter during the reunion show) because of the interview of her and Pat. Jonna and Ayiiia actually seemed to be cool and they even are talking in the clips on MTV.com for the after the reunion interviews. I do believe that something happened, but not during the **** they should of shown taping, I'm guessing something happened when they went back to Cancun for the premiere of the show or after taping when Jonna supposedly went to visit Ayiiia when was before the show even aired.

Ah, I see. I haven't been following all the timelines -- it's hard for me to keep up with all the drama-bombs ;). I'm aware Ayiiia and Krystal are in a relationship, but I'm unsure if they're monogamous or not, hence speculation that she might've been "chilling" with Jonna behind the scenes. Speaking of timelines, does anybody know exactly when Joey leveled a homophobic slur at Ayiiia? I'm not sure if it happened before or after their billionth reconcilation, so I'm just curious.

That was awhile ago as well.

I lost so much respect for Jonna, shes just a *** Team Jasmine... LOL it's funny that I like Emilee when the show is over.

I was thinking the same thing, Thing 3. I never cared for Emilee on the show but after the reunion(and her posts here) I like her a lot.
