I understand. For you this is like going to see a movie. No matter how bad it is, you'll see it through.
For me this is like a daily soap and if I don't like the current story arc - I'll change the channel. ;)
Very true. Plus it's not as late for me, which makes it a lot easier to stick with. There is not much else on now and I am not about to pass out for the night! We don't get HBO either, so it's pretty much Merlin and nothing else for me tonight, haha.
Ya, I forgot that Design Star was on, so I am flipping back and forth between the two. :) I can only last so long with Joe Morgan if the Sox are losing.
Texas is kicking some butt tonight! The Red Sox are shaking in their boots because their coveted wildcard spot may soon be in jeopardy.
Edit: Oh, never mind. I thought Texas had the 10. Not the zero. My bad.
BTW, where you hanging out these days Lionsfan? It would seem Rangers wins are a bit scarce of late. Much like you in this thread. :D
The rangers seem to play very well against good teams. They have owned the red sox and angels this year. They took 2 of 3 from the yankees last week. But they get beat by teams they should beat, like the twins and the dang blue jays tonight. They need to bring the same intensity every game. I still have faith we can win the wildcard, but the sox have played better lately.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. :wink2:
The Red Sox end the season: Baltimore (-23) Kansas City (-30) Yankees (+34) Toronto (-22) Cleveland (-14) ----- basically one team over .500 and the Sox eat bad teams for breakfast in the stretch. We are over the scheduling hump.
Then again, I guess you've got to have faith!
Lionsfan, are you still feeling it?
No, Im not feeling it anymore. The Rangers just cant beat bad teams, they only play well against good competition. Congratualation to you and your Red Sox. Maybe we will be able to stay in the race the whole season next year. Thank god football season has started!
:) Im beginnin to like Clay Buchholz again. It looks like he may be done tho after 6 innings of 1 run ball tonight. He has thrown close to 100 pitches.
I called it. I knew the Tigers were gonna blow their lead and miss the playoffs. They're only 2 games away...
Oh, it is better this way molds. Kill your expectations now rather than wait for the Yankees to sweep through there in October on the way to the ALCS. :D

I wasn't expecting World Series, but I was hoping they'd at least make the playoffs. They've been absolutely pathetic this last month!! Lost 9 out of the last 12. Horrible...
I know the odds of us getting swept at Yankee Stadium this weekend are better than us sweeping...but I still hold out a secret hope of coming back from 5 1/2 down with 10 to play and winning the division.
Anyway, baring that miracle (which doesn't really matter anyway as odds makers say it will be NY vs. Bos in the ALCS) I am amazed that we have put up another 90+ win season after what felt like a VERY LONG summer...

I sense a sweep of the sox this week. Yanks > Sox. Thats if, I BELIEVE. But, Dice-K has a chance on Saturday. But Byrd, -.- . Can we please get rid of him already? I'd rather have Smoltz right now. Lester tonight, I have no clue. Lester can be unpredictable at some points in the season.
Go Sox!! I'd LOVE to sweep the Yanks but I would be happy with just slaughtering Joba tonight. It's sad that I fully expect at least one of our players ::cough:: Youkilis ::cough:: to have to duck away from a pitch tonight.
Ok...what else is on TV tonight? :wink2:
I can't stand watching when I have a bad feeling and right now I have a very bad feeling. Lester is not looking good out of the gate and is on the verge of letting the floodgates open.
