Real World 24 - Casting

I remember back in the RR Islands season, they wanted a local islander for the cast which is why Oscar was picked although he wasn't the first choice since he wasn't a "more masculine" guy but his personality won them over.

I think Puerto Rico would be very interesting. I highly doubt that they'd cast a local though. i think a atlanta would be a cool place or salt lake city. i'm just waiting for them to come back to philly.

I'm hoping for a "Back To Miami" season, which probably won't happen, sadly. Locations I would like for this season: Pittsburg, Baltimore, Detroit, Houston, or even Toronto. I would like if they did one near the Niagra Falls area in Canada. I think it would be Canada next season. They've done Mexico, so all they need to do is Canada.

I have a gut feeling they will go North. I am sticking with my fun guess of Vancouver.

They're not going to do a Baltimore season right after DC.

Oscar didnt fit the bill of what they wanted but he turned out to possibly be the best Road Rules castmember of all time. Thank god someone had the sense to cast him though. They need to let fans cast the show. It would be better.

I hope they do Toronto, since they've never done it in Canada.

I was just in Vancouver this past weekend during their Gay Pride and that city is so vibrant. I love it. I have been to Vancouver several times and the city is just amazing, I am so familiar with it and it would be an ideal spot for the show not to mention how beautiful it is. Another prime spot is Toronto, which is the NY of Canada only cleaner and a lot more refined. Toronto is lovely. I've always wondered why MTV never shoots the Real World in Canada but never get an answer. Since there seems to be so many people here in the know does anyone have any idea why they havent shot a season in Canada? Montreal would also be another good location.

For shoppers you have Eaton Centre which is a huge indoor mall with every store imaginable. However I want to go outdoors and Canada in the summertime cant be beat. I plan to head over to Centre Island and go to their nude beach and boardwalk. You could also visit the quaint little cottages on the island and grab a bite to eat at a restaurant where you can sit at one of their tables in the backyard garden. Toronto is just lovely, The Real World needs to get there ASAP. For their crowd they are trying to attract there is a very cool nightlife in Toronto as well.

I have a feeling that they will do Real World: Back To Miami, but I think it will be in awhile. I wish I could cast .:sadwalk:

Flamen, I would wish for Real World to come here yet again, but for some reason, I do not think that will happen. Maybe they will do one in Ft. Lauderdale or Orlando or maybe even Jacksonville?

I'm 15 so I cant even apply but I hope by the time I'm old enough it will still be around.

I think Orlando would be a good city to do it. There's so much to do in Orlando (with all those attractions) and I think the cast will have fun there.

I have been to Orlando NUMEROUS times and I go there for a lot of my vacations. It is a great place to go. Apart from the parks, there is great entertainment there.

im gointo audition again =]. Im 20 years old now so i feel they like people who are at least 20. I hope they have casting auditions in nyc again like last time when i went. or maybe i can email them again for a private audition like last time, where they emailed me back for a private casting call. i really would love to be on the show =]. idc where it is, just somewhere off the east coast because i have never really left the east coast except for when i went to cancun and cabo san lucas

Steven, if you would like to improve your chances of getting on this show, then I suggest you stop posting. I don't think BMP is that much of a fan of people who post on Vevmo. Simply because we here find out almost everything they do that is related to this show.

I could see them going South like Nashville or Atlanta!

I'm definitely going to audition for this season. BMP will love me and the drama that I will create.

there are always rumors that the Real World will come to Pittsburgh, and there were even rumors of a house being built in Mt. Washington which overlooks the whole city. Maybe now with two top notch sports teams they will come here. I would love to audition

My brother and I were watching Hollywood around that time.

i can see why they would be skeptical about filming a show there. Apart from playing up the party scene there are few opportunities for careers to be started, so i could see it being more along the lines of an Austin or Denver season; which i would not be mad at. Having said that i just sent in my application.....Wish me luck

Hey, I was just wondering...where exactly did you apply? Tis might sound like a dumb question, but I mean, I'm confused...is the BMP site and general directions for applying/auditioning (i.e. email, video tape sending address, etc) still legit now that they have been bought by Talpa Media? Or is everything still going according to the usual plans? Just wondering, so I can also figure this out! Thanks!
