Nope sry. The jays are just holding back too much. Brian Pryce has been confirmed as the 3rd player according to Jon Heyman. THe mets have joined in the convo between the Sox and Braves concering Adam LaRoche.
One thing I have no clue about is that Kotchman is a first baseman so they traded a first baseman for a first baseman. I don't get it.
That's what I am saying!
I am not really familiar with him at all (I don't watch West Coast or NL baseball) so maybe he is a better defensive player.
Kotchman from what I have seen CAN add a pop to the offense, however, Nick Cafardo believes the Sox are NOT done yet with trading. We've gotten Martinez and Kotchman. Cafardo believes that Kotchman's stay could be short.
In my opinion, I am fine with these two trades. We have satisfied a void that we have had in the catcher position, I mean Kotarras can't be a backup catcher for the Sox. Martinez fills that role, along with the possibility of giving Ortiz some time off. Kotchman is basically the odd man out in my opinion.
Oy vey, this is a stressful game!
Too stressful and I already knew how it was going to end. I turned it off after the top of the 12th...
Yay! I actually get to watch a game! So is it bad thing that beating Joba is now at the top of my list instead of beating the Yankees? If he goes for Youk's head again tonight, I swear all bets are off!
Old man smoltz is back. Gives up his first of many homers of the night. 1-1.
Yup..back to Big Brother and I'll keep an eye on the score online...
I have a feeling there will be a lot of long balls tonight, lots of back and forth. Though I would be happy if the scoring stopped now ;)
Smoltz will be lucky to get through 5 (59 pitches through 3.) This is going to be another long night for the bullpen.
