Of course, this has never happened before, so they're taking everything as it comes. I wonder if as much effort is going to be put into future seasons as well.

I honestly think this is a bad sign of things to come for future seasons for BMP, especially because of twitter. I think its great press for the show, but nothing will be as secretive as it used to be. Everything will be a google search away.

The difference now is that the show is in [B]Washington, DC.[/B] The District is a different kind of place and once they move on to a more standard environ things will go back to normal. Cancun had ZERO coverage. New York is the biggest media market in the US and there was only a blog here and a sighting there over the course of production. In LA there was even less coverage, because filming a reality show is not something new for that area or something that the natives get particularly excited about... Don't worry, next season it will be in Vancouver[SIZE="1"]*[/SIZE] for the Olympics (you heard it here first) and everyone will go back to not caring. Well, except for us! [B]Notice[/B] In an effort to move on, and to clear the cyber air, I just had a phone conversation with ollignom at his request. He apologized for all the personal attacks that occurred from his end as a result of my exposure in the Washington Post Express and on NBC 4 today. The two of us have decided that indeed this entire tit-for-tat that originated as part of last week's sourcing issue, has reached a level of ridiculous short of kindergarten behavior. And so while he cannot speak for anybody other than himself let it be known that he and I are "cool". As such, I hope that the DC blogosphere will return to a level of decorum befitting of the educated adults and new media agents that we are. I put forth the idea that perhaps all of the DC bloggers, tweeters, etc., who have now become the "reporters" of this new age of reality TV find a time to all go out for drinks. After all, this is supposed to be entertainment. -The End
