Lol. It's cool.
Is there a better thread to follow for updates on the show taping itself? 20+ pages of SWMNBN talk is too much to handle. Or is there so little happening that this is all there is to talk about?

I have seen them twice today in the neighborhood without camera crews (gym and Cosi). On a side note, I wonder if some cliques are forming. I see Andrew by himself a lot, and Callie, Ty, and Erika seem to be together a lot.

I just think everyone is used to them now so its probably not a big deal as much as it was before.
Yeah Dupont, even in the pictures it seems to be that some people are with others more.
Man i really hope this season isn't like Brooklyn. The connotation of it being in DC alone means they probly have ppl there that wan2 be activists or war vets or something, which is fine, but makes for a more serious show than one that entertains or serves as a guilty pleasure just to see ppl go at it and/or go crazy lol...THOUGHTS?

I don't mind DC being serious. Anything that goes back to being more like earlier seasons are fine with me.

Truthfully I stopped watching RW regularly after Las Vegas and was happy to see the show try and go back to its roots. There are plenty of other shows out there for me to get my hook-up/party fix. That may be a part of the RW but I don't want it to what defines it. That's not what I tune in for.
I hope DC is much like Brooklyn as well.
I think DC might be like Brooklyn, because of the location and the cast seems like people with real issues and goal. That should be interesting.
Yeah Player. I really like the idea of not giving them a job, but them trying to fulfill their dream. It is so much more real.
That's how I feel too. Real World was originally about living their dreams and doing what they want. When they are assigned a job, it does not really give them the opportunity to follow their dreams. I do have a feeling this season may have jobs.
Last I heard, they were working for various non-profit agencies.
Good, I'm glad they're doing different things, because I don't like when there's just that one job that the entire cast has to do. I also heard Ty bartends sometimes while he's there.

Hey, at least they get to do something fun right?! :)
It sounds as though production just keeps ruining things... The cast was at a DC United game this past weekend. When someone tried to take a picture of the cast with Glory, the mascot, a producer forced them to delete it. Story here, and here are some pictures of them going into the stadium.
Wow, can they just not enjoy their time?! :(

Ugh, I can't get over how TY looks like somebody I used to date. And that black guy with the fro has been working with BMP on the RW for a very long time. I forget his name.
Ugh, I can't get over how TY looks like somebody I used to date.
Umm...thumbs up for your taste in men.
I'm sorry TJ. I really hope in the end the cast enjoys their experience because so much **** has been thrown their way for nothing.

I know. The producers are at fault for most of the ****.
I know blame it on the producers, not the cast!
What kind of **** has been thrown their way? I'm relatively new to the forum (and Vevmo).
What kind of **** has been thrown their way? I'm relatively new to the forum (and Vevmo).
Not really **** so much as a couple of stalkers, and people being just down right rude to them because they don't want BMP/MTV in DC.
Not really **** so much as a couple of stalkers, and people being just down right rude to them because they don't want BMP/MTV in DC.
Thanks, Stacee. I did read about the zealous stalkers/bloggers and about the anti RW sentiments. I thought there might have been something that that the producers were doing to cause extra problems.
In response to a posts by TJHallow and others about wanting to see RWDC get a bit more serious: I agree. I'd love to see them move a bit away from the hi drama of recent years and more toward more purposeful living and caring that marks the lives of most people in the real world. To the degree that life imitates art, we need better art in this regard....
