Which challenge intro was your Favorite?
For me It would be Battle of the Sexes and the Inferno 1 (Yellowcard <333333).
So I guess this is the thread that we can talk about all of the Generic things in the challenge I guess.
Just a quick note. Instead of starting new threads, lets just dump all the generic Real World/Road Rules Challenge stuff in here.
Thanks.
I think that BMP should STOP CASTING SO MANY FRESH MEAT! Most of them don't bring anything to the challenges.
So many? Three is hardly a large amount. Kenny, Evan, and Ev are really the only ones who have done much... right? Please correct me if I'm forgetting someone.

Once again, your opinion. I don't mind some of them.

And then you have the cast members who are on their 8th challenge...yet people complain 4 or 5 is too much.
Most of the FM people don't bother me. I just didn't like Kenny on G3 and The Island and I didn't like Evan on G3. Honestly, they brought more to controversy and drama to the show then someone like Landon, yet a lot of us like Landon more, which is fine. And just to make it clear, I don't like some of the FM people just because they are FM. I don't like them because of their character, or at least how they are portrayed on the show.
And then you have the cast members who are on their 8th challenge...yet people complain 4 or 5 is too much.
To be fair, those on their 8th season started in season 3, 6, 7, and 9. To have people on 4-6 of the past 7 seasons, that's when it gets overload for some viewers. I had Rachel overload back in the day but liked her a lot better on the Island and Duel. Same with Veronica, and I'm excited to see her on the Ruins.
I'm also excited to see Veronica on the ruins! Though she said she didn't have a good time and would never return =(.
I love the Battle Of The Sexes 1 intro! It's my favorite.
The drama just isn't the same anymore unfortunately. There's not really a this person VS. this person like the old days.

Are you serious?! I love Veronica! Back when she did challenge after challenge, I was the only person who liked her. Sometimes I would cry at night because of this...
But anyway, I liked the openings for BOTSEXES 1 and Inferno 1, but I also was a fan of the Gauntlet 1's opening. The poses were corny, but I loved the song. I remember trying for months to find that stupid song to download and to this day I still can't find it. :(

To be fair, Derrick did every single challenge back to back until he won one, and Veronica did them all until I2.
I'm not complaining because I love Derrick and V, but its the same thing.
The only person from Fresh Meat that has done every single challenge from FM until recently was Kenny (and he's not on the Duel 2) , Paula, and Johnny. Evan skipped I3 and The Island. Diem skipped I3 and the Island. Ryan skipped 3 challenges, and Evelynn didn't do the Duel. (I used FM as examples because people keep complaining about them the most).

Um Diem, Ryan, and Eric.
Don't forget Casey and Evelyn (I don't mind her)

Well, speaking for myself here, I know I was sick of Veronica after about the first Inferno and sick of Derrick by the first Duel, so it isn't as if this is a new thing to be annoyed by the constant presence of certain people.
I still like Derrick and I rooted for him on almost all of his challenges, but I think he could have sat a few out and it wouldn't have caused the show any harm. And by BOTS2 and Inferno 2, I would have loved to have erased Veronica from my memory. Now I'm happy to have her back, but then? Boy did I want that girl off my television. So I'm not picking on these Fresh Meat kids, but yeah I'd like them to stop. I also don't think they add as much as Veronica or even Derrick did. Personally I think FM should have been a standalone season. I often wonder how each challenge since then would have played out with just RW/RR cast members.
There are some people that I didn't mind doing serveral challenges Like say Brad and Derrick. because I liked them Brad is still one of my favorite Real World Guys. So he could've been on EVERY challenge since his season and I would've been fine with it.
But these Fresh Meat Kids are Boring and Annoying and most of them that do challenges don't add anything to them.
And I also do wonder how these challenges would've played out without the Fresh Meat....Maybe Brad could've won The Duel 2.

Nope. CT would have won because he never would have met Diem and never gotten into a fight over her with someone else.

But he probably would've screwed himself somehow someway just like he did on The Duel 1.

There are an infinite number of ways it could be speculated.

And thats fine but some people like the fresh meat kids, and don't mind seeing them on every challenge. Like it or not, they are dominating the challenges (physically and mentally), more than some of the people who had full seasons of Real World or Road Rules.
You have written the FM kids as boring and annoying any time they are ever talked about.
But he probably would've screwed himself somehow someway just like he did on The Duel 1.
Maybe he would've ended up punching Isaac like we saw almost happened on the shit they should have shown last night.
But I totally agree. I think the FM kids should have only been allowed to be on that season... MAYBE Duel 1 so we could see them on one challenge, and then that have been it.
I really loved Inferno II. Just sayin'. ;)
I mostly don't mind the FM kids. If they are on four straight in a row, though, its like..okay, take a breather, miss one, then come back.

Well you're right people actually LIKE seeing the Fresh Meat kids on every challenge and that's fine. I'm not saying anybody CAN'T like them and yes they are legitamate parts of the challenge. However that doesn't mean that I have to like them. ( I know you didn't say that I had to but just saying).
And yes I have said they are boring and annoying.....And I will continue to do so as long as they are plastered all over the challenges.

Or you don't have to watch. Why watch something you hate? :)
But anyways I wanna talk about something else regarding the challenges.
So I was just watching bits and pieces of Battle of the Seasons a few days ago And I just wanna say that it was really nice seeing Old school castmembers and how they interacted with each other. They seemed so...Normal with each other and not so Crazy and sexed up like most of the challenge crew today. And there was actual DRAMA AND ENTERTAINMENT on that challenge and it wasn't just the same old crap.
It reminded me why Battle of The Seasons IMO is one of the Best challenges ever. Everyone that watches the challenges should check it out.

Well I never said that I hated watching the challenges. I just don't like The Fresh Meat that's all.
There's still alot of RW/RR people that I like and I still watch the challenges to see them.

I totally agree with you, both on the FM thing, and how Battle of the Seasons is one of the best seasons! I was rewatching it a few weeks ago and I noticed that everyone that made it to the final 12 seemed like they were having fun. While I'm sure the people now have just as much fun, all we see is them drinking and hooking up while on Battle of the Seasons we saw them interacting in different ways.
I'd LOVE for them to do another Battle of the Seasons, but I know it will never happen due to the lack of Road Rulers wanting to come back on these things.
I've always wanted to know this
Does TJ interact with the cast outside of challenges? Or outside of "hosting" at the challenges? Does he ever hang out with them at the house or is that off limits?
