Yeah, there seems to be something off about Danielle.
Now for the matriarch of the crew, the red-headed wife, when she said something like "I'm not the kind of mom to force my kids to go to college, I kind of understand them not wanting to.." I was like, well uhhh you have a TON of money and are supporting them and thinking about helping them start a strip club empire and buying your ditzy daughter a salon NO WONDER they don't want to put the effort in to go to school, you are giving them everything they need and no reason to get an education! Yeah not everyone needs goes to school, but I wouldn't let them just hang around the house and mooch off me either. You want to start your own business? Ok, go work for! You are gonna start paying rent once you graduate form HS if you don't go to college! Sorry, that just annoyed me during her whole speech about making a strip club momma would be proud of. I know some people don't agree with other peoples thoughts, but Strip clubs make a [B]lot[/B] of money...even if they are not something most momma's would be proud of. I know my momma would be proud as long as it was successful and I wasn't running a ***** house out the back of it, LOL There is nothing wrong with adult entertainment in general it just gets a bad rap because of this guy or that guy's voilent tendancies...not because he saw a titty...BUT because he saw a titty while he was getting wasted prior to commiting the crime.
Although tots, I completely agree with WTF was she thinking deciding to buy her daughter a salon...I bet the daughter will not hold an actual position there other than owner/boss. I am sure there will be someone to do everything else for her.
The son was right, those strip clubs are recession proof. I know a few owners of strip clubs and even though the economy sucks in MI and everyone is losing their jobs, they are still making a lot of money.

No, don't think there is anything wrong the owning a strip club. I just think its odd that she was okay with him not going to college and opening up a strip club. Most parents are like education first and she has the money so thats not an issue. Caroline is my favorite though!

Titties!! Ahhhh!! lol, but seriously, I do see the good business ideas in his plan and in owning exotic dance clubs, but I think I would encourage something else first. My mom would be proud of me becoming successful but I don't thing she would run and tell friends that I made my fortune in strip clubs. Actually, now that I think about it, scratch that. My mom would probably bring all her friends to the club and have a weekly girls night out. Oh mom...haha ;)
She is my favorite housewife though. The too nice one is fine too, but I feel like her role will just be to be stuck in the middle most of the time and not wanting to take sides smiling and being like "Guys, it's ok lets all be friends!" which is fine, but not that exciting.

I was wondering the same thing about Gia. I remember it was a pretty big movie too, wasn't it? She is a very pretty little girl but it doesn't seem like they would give her a lot of lines, so she might have just been part of the crowd.

Yeah I don't remember which one, but I do remember being suprised becasue I knew of it. Don't get me wrong, I agree that she is a avery pretty little girl, she just isn't too good at delivering lines...she should model instead, btu I guess now a days you have to be at least a double threat, if not a triple threat. Ugh, I was disgusted too. Yes, as their father (he is the girls' father right?) he should be providing for them. BUT as their mother you should be out there doing the best you can for them. You don't need to live in a gigantic house, throw "spa parties", go on shopping sprees, blah blah blah...the girls will be just fine in a moderate sized house in a less expensive neighborhood. Yeah, you may not want to move them away from their friends, or switch schools, but dating 20 year olds is not exactly the best plan to support your children either.

Jackie and Teresa are so sweet and cute, Danielle and Dina are the same personality with different pasts leading up to who they are now imo. Caroline is great, she cracks me up...the only thing that bothers me is that she didn't want Danielle to know she got the book and presented it to her family and Teresa...I think that seemed Shady...just fess up and admit that you were more than willing to go out of your way to put her on blast about her past. I think she is using the family being in danger as an excuse to be catty towards Danielle out of loyalty to her sister Dina.
I knew I was forgetting Teresa! I like her! I like how Jackie really doesn't want to get in between the ladies and do her own thing. It says a lot about her. I have to be honest, While I am not a big Danielle fan, I do think she is doing a great job raising her girls from what I can tell. My mom has a really bad past and she raised my sister and I great, she told us, once we were old enough, exactly what she went through growing up and all the things she did that she shouldn't have. Full disclosure made me see her in a new light...to understand all the hardships she had been through...that she admittedly brought on herself made me rethink my path in life. Everyone has a bit of a bad girl/guy streak in them and I get the impression that she was just with that guy for money and had no clue nor cared to know where he got it from.
