The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Is anyone watching this yet? I haven't had a chance, but I'm very excited about it. I really enjoyed NY.

Its actually good. These women aren't as pretentious at the New York Women.

The New York women are unbearable, but New Jersey should be good!

Darn it...I don't feel like getting up, I'm so comfortable.

They seem to be rather batty, CM. I mean, I'm not one to throw stones but who encourages their son to skip college and open a chain of car wash/strip clubs?
Did I hear that correctly? She's been engaged 19 times?

I didn't hear that part. I am wondering what in the world is wrong with these women. I just watched the epi where the one lady takes her small daughters shopping. The kids are running around the store screaming about what they want. Then the mother shells out like $3500 to purchase all of it. My mom would have dragged me into the restroom and smacked my butt for that behavior!
This show is going to be such a train wreck...and I just can't bring myself to look the other way.
Did I hear that correctly? She's been engaged 19 times?
Yeah that is the "outsider" housewife, single mom lady. I don't know her name yet, but that looks like the role she is there to play. She said she got married after her 20th proposal, no real shocker they are now divorced, and she kept the ring because "well look at it", or something like that. She complains a lot about how they can't pay the bills, but it is a bit sketchy because you would think there would be some sort of child support payments coming in and if he was as well off as she makes it seem those payments would be pretty hefty. I am sure all will be revealed sooner or later because they keep teasing this big fight where it looks like the others confront her on rumors that they used to do some pretty illegal stuff to make their money.
My mom would have dragged me into the restroom and smacked my butt for that behavior!
Yeah, the one lady that no one likes is a serial fiance. She mentioned being engaged 19 times, and then she kept the ring from the 20th or something to that effect. She's a bit off her rocker. Anyone who has phone sex for 2 years without meeting the guy (and then gets stood up, mind you) is missing a few cells. I don't understand kids today. They get away with the craziest shit and their parents stand there all, "Oh! So precious!" My mom would have smacked me upside the head. In public. The kid that lives across the street from me screams. With the door open. At 6:30am. It's not even a coherent sentence. My worst nightmare came true though...last weekend I was looking at him and his lips weren't moving, yet I still heard screaming. Another monster has moved in somewhere in my earshot. So glad my lease is up at the end of the month!
I was lucky, I always looked like a better behaved child next to my brother, hahah ;) He was big into the "I'm not touching you!" routine to annoy me when we were stuck in the backseat together. I HATED it! My parents usually pulled the "the ignore you until you stop whining" method. It worked considering we really just whined to get attention.

It seems the serial fiancée is on a manhunt for someone to pay her bills. I can't believe she had the nerve to announce that on television!

These ladies are going to bring the LOL's AND the OMG's...I am hoping for a good mob war mid way through the season too, LOL. It is the female Soprano's, LMAO.

I hated long road trips for that reason! Totally the female Soprano's! I think I am tuning in just so I don't miss a big fight. The preview with the table flip looks oh so amazing :)
And how about the 2 year old, "I will rip my hair out!" Do children really say that these days?
I am 99% sure the child picked it up from the mother telling the husband the same thing to get what she wants. No self respecting New Jersey man wants a bald wife afterall.

I actually liked the NY housewives, lol. These women make Carmela Soprano look classy, okokok, I loved Carmela.
Edie Falco (aka Carmela Soprano) stars in a new series, The Nurse, which premiers on Showtime at 10:30 PM EDT Jun 8th. ( Edie Trivia: She is an 18 year recovering alcoholic who still attends AA meetings weekly.)
Oh yes, I saw a commercial or preview for this, maybe a billboard, thanks for the reminder.

Was Kenny on the episode tonight? I was switching back and forth but I didn't see him. I love this season!

I had it on, but I didn't see him either. I think the whole within one family focus is an interesting twist and adds a different dynamic to the series. I'm not sure how I feel about the wives yet, I'll give them to episode 5 until I make any decisions.

It was on the vevmo revenge thread. I actually like the whole were related thing, its different. How many episodes does a season usually have? I only watch the orange county seasons, and that's when I catch it here and there. I haven't found the others as interesting but this one is good. I love the New Jersey accents!

I think they have about 10 episodes per season, maybe a little more but probably not in their first season. I like the family twist too, but I'm not sure how I feel about THIS family yet. Definitely entertaining though.

I'm pretty sure ColiesMom was joking about Kenny being on this show. It was all in the spirit of the fantasy challenge. :)

I like the woman with the Red hair. Did she really encourage her son to open up a strip club instead of go to college? LMAO. I don't like Danielle though. I think she's the one that was engaged 19 times. weirdddooo.
