I think most people are in agreement, with not liking Nehemia or Evan, but thinking it would be good if Nehemia did send Evan home.
I love Katie and Jenn, it's a sad duel, when 2 people you like are going against eachother.
The Mission was pretty entertaining. It did seem tough. I think it was funny Katie just finished the finish line, after Landon and Brit won the challenge.
He's good a competitor, he plays the game, and it works. It's not like he's CT, going around threatening to smash people's heads and eat it and yet everyone still lovesss him.

HAHAHA CT is a beast!! That quote was sooo **** funny..but yea I totally agree with you TJ
Yeah that whole monologue I was just like :unknw:. He was kind of like some wannabe cult leader that couldn't get anyone to drink his cyanide kool-aid. It reminded me of the "Eric and the magical jump rope" escapade.
With that said I will totally be using the "you're being a *****. . .the ***** that you are inside. . ." line, it might be up there with Puck's "lay on the couch and be laying on the couch" (why oh why wasn't that used in the Pedro movie).
Haha I too was going to steal Nehemiah's quote..But Puck is just crazy! I like that line too though..I didn't see the Pedro movie but I'll rent it and watch it..hmm Eric and the magical jump rope escapade?? Im not familiar with that one..but it intrigues me LOL
Oh, and nice cult reference..I agree, Nehemiah tried the kool-aid all by himself on that one!

Pedro is online on the MTV website. You must be newbie to the Real World/Road Rules/Challenges...
I was sad to see both Nehemiah and Katie go, but for different reasons. I am by no means a Nehemiah fan, but I would have done a back flip in my living room had he sent home Evan last night. The "big boys" of the challenge would have gotten a big wake-up call and I would have been all for that. I absolutely adore Katie and wanted her to stay there as long as possible, so I was sad about that Duel.
The whole thing with Jenn's shoulder confused me. It went from bad enough where she was actually considering going home over it, to it feeling fine and wrestling Rachel in the grass. Hmm?? It was just a little sketchy to me. I love Jenn, I just got confused with all of that.
And Paula--- my lord, WHY is everything about YOU!?!?! She managed to somehow twist the Katie and Jenn Duel to be about her. It's always about her. "I need Jenn here." And why did she feel the need to justify her vote for Dunbar? She always picks Dunbar. Nehemiah should have just saw that one coming. I hate you, Paula -- okay I shouldn't say hate because I don't know you personally, but seriously, stop coming on challenges.
Imo, Nehemiah beat Evan, but thanks to schoolyard methods and bias officiating, Evan stays. What the **** was that - Evan standing on the platform and shaking it - he could and perhaps should have been DQd. I'm no big Nehemiah fan either, but he was game.
This episode was so-so, but the relay race was horrible although it probably was more fun to participate. Evan despite my opinion of his duel performance has asserted himself as a tough out. I wish Nehemiah had gone after Brad or Mark though.
I await next week.
I don't know why everyone is freaking out about Evan, he didn't hinder Nehemiah's speed at all. The pulley system was based on speed, and the fact is he just ran out of gas towards the end.
Evan tried to find the position that best fit him, and he did that. In no way do I think he was trying to cheat.
Were people this mad when Aneesa continually didn't go after the hook on Shauvon's back, and TJ was constantly telling her to go for it?
You guys don't like Evan and are mad he didn't get sent home, but the double standards here are amazing.

Yeah I still don't know how Evan won that.
And I'm sick of them focusing on Paula and Evan. I mean do they think that people actually care about them?

LOL. ElectraWoman<3.
I have always been on the "I really dislike Evan" wagon..but after this episode, I really am beginning to not mind him at all. His commentary, although not on par with Isaac, always makes me laugh.
And I do think he is the one male who enters the Duel the most. Makes me look at him with a new, softer light.
People are freaking out? Really?
I think Evan's squirming, only helped him in the duel. You would think bouncing up and down in the cage would make it harder for the opponent to pull you up, right?
The bobble heads were funny.
Last week, they started the show with showing Brooke having fun and joking, this week with Katie. I wonder if they'll have next weeks like that as well.

Not when the system is based on speed instead of strength or weight.
I don't care much for Evan and I didn't call him out for the almost standing up thing. I can't be for sure that it helped him. But if it did, it's another rough duel elimination round for Nehemiah. Remember they didn't have enough watermelons for him to keep going up with the bidding for his elimination round in The Duel (1)?
I have also given Evan props for his competitive ability before. And I can understand it's not fun for him to be called out to do a duel for the second time in a row. And I was also mad at several of the G3 vet people during that challenge. I thought the behavior was despicable during the final mission and they annoyed me throughout the whole challenge. I didn't really want to see any of the finalists back with the exception of Brad. They really irked me.
But like I said way earlier in this post, other people get called out as well. How many times have people said they don't like or can't stand Nehemiah (or "Nedermeyer")? Johnny got a lot of flack for The Island, etc.
Not when the system is based on speed instead of strength or weight.
Don't you think you'd move slower with someone on the other end squirming around? It would definitely make it harder to pull, slowing you down.
Don't you think you'd move slower with someone on the other end squirming around? It would definitely make it harder to pull, slowing you down.
TJ said it had nothing to do with weight or moving, just how fast you pull.

All Nehemiah had to do was pull his chain faster than Evan pulled his, neither one of them was lifting the other one up, they are just pulling chains.
He was slower, he lost. Simple as that.
Why do you think they designed it like that? Probably because Eric has a good 50 lbs on everyone else, and if it was designed any other way, no one would have a chance against him.

Not like Evan. I can't stand Nedermeyer but I don't pick him apart until there is nothing left like people do to Evan.
TJ said it had nothing to do with weight or moving, just how fast you pull.
The pulleys are attached to the platform, and you even hear TJ telling Evan twice or perhaps 3 times that he needed to sit. He would not have mentioned it if there wasn't some sort of advantage. His movements called a delay in Nehemiah's efforts imo. It was a questionable call that could have gone either way. I'm surprised that production or Nehemiah made it a point for dispute.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH! Thanks, yep I missed that part. Yes, I didn't think anyone would stand a chance against Eric.

Right because you get more strength pulling from your knees than you do sitting Indian style. That's why TJ told Evan to sit.
If Nehemiah was focused and "in the zone", nothing would have affected his performance.

Nehemiah never ran out of gas, his motion was consistant throughout except when Evan was moving around. The system could be designed to where weight isn't a factor, but moving around, will cause the cable (chain) of the platform your on to move since its probably designed with a slide mechanism or bearing that neglect weight.
And again, where was all the complaining when Aneesa didn't listen to TJ when he was telling her to go for the hook? There wasn't as much because no one here likes Shauvon.
Not everybody is going to like the same person.
However, some people are using their dislike for somebody's "character" on the show as an excuse for personal attacks. As Electra said, "double standards."
I'm done.
And again, where was all the complaining when Aneesa didn't listen to TJ when he was telling her to go for the hook? There wasn't as much because no one here likes Shauvon.
He was yelling at Shavon telling Shavon to go for the hook, not Aneesa. I don't loathe Evan, I'm just making a call. It is obviously clear that he had an advantage, and because the end result was so close, it raises questions.
As for Shavon, she had no chance from the outset, and perhaps should have went in another direction.
Not like Evan. I can't stand Nedermeyer but I don't pick him apart until there is nothing left like people do to Evan.
But for right now at least, he is one of the "stars" of this season. There is a lot of focus on him, and people are going to have reactions to him, especially if they don't agree with him.
I try to focus on what's happening in the show. I think there are other people who are doing that as well and not just cutting him down.

He was falling off, what else was he supposed to do? Hit the ground and get back on. Why does every single detail have to be picked apart?
What is done is done, there is no way we can change it now.

Umm yes he did run out of gas, watch the end of the duel again. He was moving way slower than when he first started.

I know that and I don't agree with everything Evan does or says too. I am simply stating that that is no reason for all these personal attacks.
I get it, you guys don't like him.
I don't even remember the hook thing or how the rules could've been broken. I don't care either way for Nehemiah or Evan (although I don't understand why he seems confused about people wanting him out) I just thought it had to do with weight and him bouncing around would've affected the outcome, BUT seeing as how that isn't how it worked I was wrong lol.

How is that an insult? In a couple of your posts I read you seem to not "recall" a lot of stuff that recently happened in challenges. I wasn't just talking about the Eric Nies-Jump rope thing either. The Pedro movie was on MTV a few weeks ago, and anyone who has been recently watching Real World/Challenges would know, I'm not being rude. There is nothing wrong with being new to a show...
