My favorite thing about this episode was Evan squirming. I love how last week when he was called in the duel he was all like, "A puzzle? Exactly what I didn't want...ugh!", and this week he's like "Elevator? Exactly what I didn't want...ugh!"
Watching Evan squrim is hilarity at its finest [[Next to Big Easy's part in the Main Title "Katoo!! Katoo!!" HAA!!]] *Whipes tear from eye* I could watch those 3 parts allday!!
I'm glad Nehemiah tried to take him out though. Wish he would have!
I agree, i didn't realize how into his spiritual antics he was until last night though [[which was kind of irratating..but why didnt they add the sock puppet daily! lol..]] But back to what you were saying, yea im happy Nehemiah chose Evan i was getting antsy to see if he'd eliminate Evan and change the game..but no, it left me sad in pants..Evan's entertaining to watch so i'll get over it..
You know what? As much as I sometimes love to hate Evan, at least he's earning his right to stay, which is more than I can say for most of the other guys. Oh, you made the right friends? Congratulations. This is why I don't like people like Dunbar and love people like Derrick and Wes. Dunbar has yet to do anything. Derrick and Wes worked their ***** off. If I'm gonna watch someone potentially win a challenge, I'd rather have them work for it (like Wes in Duel) than skate by without really facing competition..
Thank you!

The duel is there for a reason, to prove your worth and that you deserve to stay. Yeah it is awesome if you luck out and never go in, but to me you didn't really work for it as much as someone who might have gone in three times and lost on the third time. I guess you could say you played a better mental/social game, but truthfully I don't find that as impressive since I feel a lot of the social game is already established based on existing friendships instead of the best competitors.
Katie =( That was totally her game too. I loved seeing Evan squirm as well. I hope he gets called in every time.
Yeah I actually liked Tenderoni. on the whole, I didn't have a lot of respect for how he tried to play Beth on the Gauntlet (I think?) but I still found him amusing and I think unlike Shauvon, him calling out a strong borderline disliked player who potentially had an arm injury was a ballsy/smart move. I didn't understand half of what he was talking about though, sometimes he seemed like he would start talking and then lose his train of thought in the middle and just take off in some bizarre direction.
Lets talk more about Nehemiah's ramblings.."..Evan's being a *****, the ***** that he is inside.." That made little to no sense and it was redundant..I was like uh oh hes one of those type of people..:puke:

And I totally agree with this statement. Evan is earning his place. I wonder if he goes into The Duel anymore?

He was kind of like some wannabe cult leader that couldn't get anyone to drink his cyanide kool-aid. It reminded me of the "Eric and the magical jump rope" escapade. With that said I will totally be using the "you're being a *****. . .the ***** that you are inside. . ." line, it might be up there with Puck's "lay on the couch and be laying on the couch" (why oh why wasn't that used in the Pedro movie).
I wish this was vevmo and not that I hate Evan website.
I agree with you! Evan is not that bad and most of the time he is pretty funny to watch.
It's......scary.
Yeah but I'd rather people post their opinions than be afraid to be attacked because they like a certain person. Evan is annoying, but not horrible.
LOL at all the Evan lovers coming out of hiding.
See I am an ex-Evan lover. I was all for him during Fresh Meat when he worked hard as a partner with Coral and went down due to injury. But then he decided he needed to "play the game" to win and stab people in the back like he did with Coral later. He has also said some pretty derogatory things about women that I don't really appreciate. I am just saying that I appreciate him as a competitor more in Duel 2 because he has gone into the Duel twice, with some whining, and proved that he can play. I can't fault him for that. I just wonder where the nice Canadian hockey player I grew to like went these days. Plus he is aligned with Paula, which usually means I have to deal with her as long as he is around protecting her.
Nehemia was really annoying me during this episode. Although I don't like Evan, because of is holier than thou attitude and his ramblings, I am glad he beat Nehemia. Nehemia was also doing a lot of rambling and he seemed to make people uncomfortable. When MJ said he scowled at people in the hallway, I could actually see Neheimia doing something like that. Why would people want a person like that in the house? People might not like Evan, but atleast he gets along with most of the guys and girls in the house.

I could not stand Evan either after G3, and I was more disappointed with him than anything (if you see my earlier posts, you will know). It wasn't just him though, and he gets the heat more than anyone. I can't hold grudges against a person's character for long. I have grown to love Evelynn too after she screamed "We just lost $300,000" about Eric after he almost died. I'd take G3 Evan over Island Johnny any day.
Well, I still hate Evan. He is just so annoying to me. Everything that he says just seems so contrived and fake. It's like he practices his confessionals in the mirror before he says them. He tries to hard to be funny(altough I do laugh sometimes), and his cocky attitude is so played out now. Im tired of watching an episode and after every scene, we get an Evan confessional with his thoughts/opinions on what just happened.

Yeah it wasn't the best timing but it was a high pressure situation that was out of her control and was caused because others didn't step up before. I am not really holding a grudge against Evan, he has yet to show that he has gone back to his Fresh Meat self, he still says derogatory things, he still plays a manipulative game...I am not saying I like him the least of all cast members, Johnny is definitely worse in my eyes, but Johnny is also not on this challenge, Evan is.

Because if my friend was on the ground and looked like they were about to die, I wouldn't be screaming about money. The way they all behaved (with the exception of Brad) left a sour taste in my mouth, and screaming that was selfish. I don't hold grudges either and I don't really hate anyone (although I can't stand Paula), but I'm getting sick and tired of reading that everyone hates Evan. I respect other people's opinions, I do, but it just gets old to to see the same thing everyday. He's good a competitor, he plays the game, and it works. It's not like he's CT, going around threatening to smash people's heads and eat it and yet everyone still lovesss him. Rant over.
I think everyone should give their opinion about anyone on the show regardless of whether they're alone in their opinion or just adding their voice to the choir. As long as they are respectful towards other vevmo members. I guess I kind of don't get the whole being afraid to speak your mind just because you might be by yourself, but maybe it's because I'm not intimidated by people in my real life and certainly wouldn't be intimidated by a bunch of anonymous people on the internet. For the record, that was not directed towards anyone, just my personal thoughts. I tend to give people a clean slate with each new challenge especially in knowing about the magical powers of editing. Unless someone is consistently an a**. I don't hate Evan I just think half the stuff he says isn't as funny as he thinks it is, like how many fat jokes do you really need to tell about Eric for example, or Beth being old or Robin being. . .Robin (and the stuff he said about her being pregnant on the Duel and doing drugs was way out of line imo). This is why I think he's leaves himself open to crticism and jokes and I don't feel bad about people making fun of his fat balding head, wildly askew hair, thick neck and that too tight shirt he keeps wearing (and by people, I mean me). That said, I realize that this is the character that MTV wants, it's why he keeps getting brought back and it's why he keeps playing the part. I also agree with everyone else who has said that in this challenge Evan is definitely earning his path to finals, he seems to be the only one taking the heat for choices his alliance virtually forced him to make. If he wins I think he will have proved he deserves it perhaps more than anyone else there.

All of his comments are calling the other people cowards for dare choosing him, but wasn't Evan the one who called himself the Godfather or something? I'm sure it was one of his (super duper hilarious) jokes, but still he knows he is the "top dog" in this game so people like Nehemiah and Davis choosing him does not make them cowards, it makes them brave more than anything. And he *****ed and moaned about losing the mission. The mission that DIEM put them in the lead on anyways. Yeah he's earning his right to stay, but he is doing it in a way that is so annoying it makes me dislike him more. If that makes sense... Oh and TJ, if it's any consolation, I can't stand Evan or Evelyn, so I'm not just biased against him heh.

I too liked Evan on FM he and Coral were unstopable, and he was genuine! Then when he turned on her on G3, I was very disapointed, but he was playing the game. Now he is earning he way, and I can respect that.

I don't know how things are in the real world, but he seemed to be good friends with them on the challenge before. I would think that would have to hurt their friendship a bit...

My favorite part of the episode was when Evan ripped the quote off the door. I'm happy to see Landon doing well.
Oh yeah I just realized I never really commented on the episode but that challenge must have been hard running up that hill with those bobblehead things. And MTV fooled me because I didn't think Katie was going home! I missed the first few minutes (I came in with Ruthie and Diem wrestling), so maybe I missed the big anvil being dropped that she was in fact going home? Haha. They also fooled me about Nehemiah because I kind of thought it would be Eric or Derek the entire time (until the whole zen thing was brought up), but I'm happy it was Nehemiah. He always bugged me and continued to do so this episode. Katie :( I wish she would have lasted longer. I like Jenn so it wasn't too terrible of a loss, but Jenn being there makes Paula happy, and Paula happy makes me... not happy. Hah Jenn was kind of wishy washy with me this episode. I went from liking her to getting kind of annoyed with her to liking her to- well you catch my drift. I appreciate that she seems to be a genuine friend, but at the same time I feel like she is always trying to console everyone and help everyone and sometimes it doesn't come off as completely genuine. I still like her, but yeah I noticed that. And Next mission looks freaky!
I was sad to see both Nehemiah and Katie go, but for different reasons. I am by no means a Nehemiah fan, but I would have done a back flip in my living room had he sent home Evan last night. The "big boys" of the challenge would have gotten a big wake-up call and I would have been all for that. I absolutely adore Katie and wanted her to stay there as long as possible, so I was sad about that Duel. The whole thing with Jenn's shoulder confused me. It went from bad enough where she was actually considering going home over it, to it feeling fine and wrestling Rachel in the grass. Hmm?? It was just a little sketchy to me. I love Jenn, I just got confused with all of that. And Paula--- my lord, WHY is everything about YOU!?!?! She managed to somehow twist the Katie and Jenn Duel to be about her. It's always about her. "I need Jenn here." And why did she feel the need to justify her vote for Dunbar? She always picks Dunbar. Nehemiah should have just saw that one coming. I hate you, Paula -- okay I shouldn't say hate because I don't know you personally, but seriously, stop coming on challenges.
