Landon said Mark is 2 feet taller then him when he has his arms up. I think he meant height from hands raised to feet is taller then Landons head to toe.
Yeah, I remember Landon said that, but some of us were thinking that overall Mark wasn't that taller than Landon, but he is about half a foot taller. I was thinking Mark was about 6'0" or 6'1,"so those extra inches make a difference to me.
Tori and Kim did not know each other before The Duel. Let's say the stage was set for them to become close and their roommate situation developed into a very close friendship. Diem was also their roommate and the same thing happened there.
Right, I just meant that in the past we've seen people who have become good friends on challenges side together in the voting, and so far we haven't seen that a lot here. The Tori/Derek thing surprised me a little more, since she's gone out of her way in the past to say they are close--it seems like they have almost nothing to do with each other on this one. Kim and Brittini also is a bit surprising, because it's usually natural to join up with your castmates. Obviously, Brittini pulled the long straw alliance-wise between the two of them.
I dislike Evan greatly, but I think he wasn't wrong to break from Paula. He clearly needs a partner who will call whatever name the alliance wants her to, like the other boys have. Paula is not that partner. That's not to say that he couldn't have given her a heads up and told her that he wouldn't be giving her a vote and to plan accordingly, though that obviously would have given her an opportunity to try to counter-scheme.
Brittini seemed to do what she could for Kim and Nick the first time around by picking Derek (who seems to be Kim's "partner") but I think her hands have since been tied, or she knows Kim will be picked further down the list
I am glad she is doing well too. If it weren't for Ruthie's edit, I would have swron Kim would have had a chance at beating her. A small chance.
Really? I understand it is your opinion, but since when has Paula ever played her own game? She showed this episode that she is dependent on Evan calling her name.
Ruthie's pretty awesome too. Gotta had it to the petite girls who kick ***. On the first episode, Paula picked her cuddle buddy, Dummybear, instead of whoever the Evan alliance wanted her to pick. Maybe I'm just blinded by the perception that she tried to stick it to Evan however feeble the attempt was.

That wasn't an attempt to play her own game, but she was going to pick him, which is why I didn't understand why they were so mad when she did.
Ruthie's win brought back memories...

grrrrr you guys stop calling him dummybear!!

It is a name for him that some of the cast use. He reads vevmo and is welcome to come here and object. When he does, he will get the same respect offered other members and people will have to cease calling him that if HE feels insulted by the name. Perhaps he has a sense of humor about such things, and pigs fly.

LOL. You never know. He may shock you.
I just rewatched the episode, and I never realized how many people were rooting for Davis.
I noticed that as well. I think Evan has a big target on his back and I can see the other guys trying to take him out in the upcoming Duels if he doesn't win the challenges.
I just looked up Mark on imdb to find out his age, and his height was actually listed as 6'3 1/4," so that's very close to MJ's 6'4," and MJ always looked much taller than Landon, so I guess Landon wasn't exaggerating.
I always thought Landon was a shorty, I was surprised when someone here mentioned he was 5'10 because I always assumed him to be closer to 5'7 but knowing the heights of Mark and MJ now I see why he always looks so dang little.
Sidenote - I don't care if Mark is 27, 37 or 47 he still looks better than 90% of the guys there and he's playing the game well and staying way under the radar, the others should watch and learn.

Word. Mark is like one of those guys that gets hotter with age.
Because Paula is not the only one who has a crush on him ...
Okay well, I like Evan and everyone here still makes fun of him. I don't ask people to stop....

I wouldn't say 90% - Landon, Brad, Davis, and Dunbar look way better in my opinion. Mark has a good body but an average face.
Has Dunbar ever proven himself in these challenges? I don't think I've seen him do much of anything.
Maybe he is one of those guys that is in shape, but is not very athletic.

I don't mind him. He seems to be a pretty solid competitor.
Being the focal point of the game is not the smartest move in my opinion though.
I'd try to take Landon's approach or Darrel's (I think that was his name). Just prove yourself time and time again and win the money.
There is no need to always be the center of attention. Evan seems like he needs to get his two cents in all the time.

Your right, I don't agree with everything he does but I have always liked him. I don't think he's a total ****ole like Bananas.

Johnny is not a good competitor. He got lucky on The Island. The men cast were really weak outside of Derrick and Abram (who didn't last).
Put him on The Duel II and he is toast.

Well, for all the great talk of Jenn, she made a mistake and no one is looking at the fact that she threw here own castmates under the bus to save someone who is tool. she would still conform to work with Evan as long as Dunbar is included. From the dallies, it seems like Jenn/Evan/Nehemiah was all in on this manipulated vote that would benefit Evan with his alliance. **** imo.
If Jenn votes her castmates, then Paula/Dunbar is left or Nehemiah/Paula ...... take your pick, but if both were true, they were calling in Evan. If Nehemiah draws Spot On , Evan is a goner. Dunbar's size affords him a competitive fight against Evan in any of the other duels. Either way, the game would have changed considerably win or lose.
Paula out of anger and distrust of Evan for being left last, would have defintely forced her to clearly choose a side as opposed of still trying to work with Evan.
They are both hypocritical. But to me it seems Evan is trying to make Paula out as the worse person. Now people are saying he should cut her out of the alliance for changing her vote once, when Evan did the same thing the episode earlier. It didn't seem they wanted to cut him out, but just discuss what happened, and they expressed their anger.
If Evan planned to stop working with Paula, how does him changing his vote make him a hypocrite?

Since when do you have to be true to your own castmates, because I have never seen that as important, except for first timers. I honestly don't think she is doing anything wrong.

She should have picked Davis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She should have picked Davis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, but I don't think she shoud have to stay loyal just because that is their castmate(Colie could be an exception just because I like her).

Have you met Davis? He seems like such a sweet guy. I have a huge crush on him lol.

Her daughter was on the season with him...
Who did Jenn pick, Nedermeyer?
I can't remember. But from the dailies we learned that Jenn asked Nehemiah to pick Paula (and of course that was over Brooke, who would have picked Davis).

What benefit she gets from helping Paula? An indirect support structure as a momentum block for Evan's alliance. Paula still wants desperately to work with Evan and its' apparent. Jenn could have singlehandedly change the whole complexion of the game on 2 fronts.
(1.) Paula is left with NO ONE to work with except Dunbar - she would definitely no longer still potentially work as a pawn in Evan's alliance
(2.) Davis calling Evan was a good call, and the Duel was even in his favor. However, he buckled under the pressure. No offense to Davis because he went down swinging, however, I distrust Dunbar, and isolating him with Paula almost guaruntees an early Evan/Dunbar duel with the odds up in the air. Dunbar would have picked Evan merely out of spite in addition to him wanted to break the alliance anyway imo.
Best case, Evan and Paula both lose. Dunbar focuses on the game and realizes he doesn't need people like Landon, Brad, and Mark, and the social dynamic of the game change, especially without Paula there spazzing out all the time.
Worse case, Evan and Paula win, there is a strong discord against Evan, and based on what we have seen so far, we now that both Davis and Nehemiah would go for Evan if he didn't win immunity which could perhaps encurage others to go for him.
Who wants to be associated with a Duel target from an alliance standpoint?
Worse case -
