Do you think that, years from now, people will long for the "good ol' days" when Paula, Robin, Evan, Kenny, etc. were on challenges the way people, now, long for the "good ol' days" when Veronica, Miz, etc. were on challenges?
Yep, just like we are doing now.
I don't even remember her fighting with Robin. You can't compare Beth or Tonya to the Sydney/Denver girls, sorry. I know we have never seen the Brooklyn crew in challenges, you were one saying that were a waste. I disagree.
As for Hollywood, Nick would have beaten Ryan if it wasn't for his hand/arm (whatever the injury was). I don't ever want to see Shauvon on my TV screen again, she should be on rock of love.
I liked the Brooklyn reunion.
I do vividly. And, as far as drama they're the only ones bringing it since Beth and Tonya are gone. Where did I say they were a waste? Point that out for me.
Beating Ryan is right up there with beating Brooke. Shauvon has got to come back. She's a hot mess, and I love it. The Brooklyn reunion was a snooze fest.

My apologies, Mizfit was the one that said Brooklyn was a waste. As far as Sydney goes, the ones that have been on challenges have only been on one.
I disagree with you about the Brooklyn reunion.
Wow A LOT of you guys are really underestimating the Brooklyn cast. Scott lives in the Gym, Katelyn is transgender (agree with me or not, it makes her stronger than most girls), and she does karate which means she will be physically and mentally great on a challenge. JD (even if I hate him) is in shape, and will dominate water challenges. Ryan is in the army enough said. Chet has personality, which will get him far, and he's inshape. Devyn, Have you SEEN HER MUSCLES, she looks like she is inshape, and she looks like she will knock the majority of the girls. Baya is a dancer, which means she has great stamina, endurance, and focus. The only one I'm not certain of is Sarah. I like her, but I feel like she will be mentally weak, but she looks like a ******.

I agree with everything said, but the only thing is I think it is impossible to rate people who have yet to be on a Challenge. I think they would be interesting to see, but can't say how good they can or won't be. But I must agree, Sarah's appearance is very ******.

Judging them just by what they look like doesn't really work. Remember when we all thought/wanted Dan from RR VR to do well, but completely flopped?

Dan is a strong competitor. In my opinion the Island was a horrible challenge for him. He put all his trust on kenny/johnny alliance, and he needed to stop drinking. If he was mentally prepared he would have been awesome. We will never know how Dan or any of the Brooklyn cast will do on a challenge, until they do a challenge where there is physical activities. I'm going by how they train to be fit. Rachel and Ev are one of the best competitors, because they work hard in the gym. So does the Brooklyn cast.

But training is completely different from mental focu abilities, strategy, alliances, etc. Ev and Rachel are the best because they are well rounded. Strong competitors such as CT and let's say Jenn have yet to win one, because they aren't completely prepared.
In my opinion, the Fresh Meat/Key West cast won't be around much longer, and to be honest, I don't even see them on this upcoming Challenge, or most of them for that matter.

Well that's why I was stressing the mental factor. Kate does karate, do you know the focus that you need. Ryan is in the army, performing under stress should be a walk in the park. Baya is a dancer, once again a lot of focus, and dedication is required. Chet seems to be the most sociable. JD knows how to play the puppet master. Have you seen Scott workout the focus in his eyes, he's a "Beast." Devyn is strong, physically and mentally. Sarah is the only weak one mentally. She can be broken down easily. I guess we have to wait and see.

I agree wth the mental factor. Yes I do know the amount of focus you need coming from someone who has taken it for two years. But just because she is a dancer, or she is in karate, or he is extremely buff, means nothing. Challenges are different elements, which is why I think that you can't truly decide who they will pass the torch to.

Ok here's a question....can you see Paula or Ev beating Devyn in a duel like backoff??? I can't. In the beginning the Brooklyn cast will probably go in a lot, it's tradition, but if Svetlana can survive and make it to the end. Well the Brooklyn cast has a chance. The torch will be pass. I assume Hollywood and Brooklyn will take over. In the duel 2, Kim is already hating the fact Evan and Paula are running the show. If only the Hollywood and Brooklyn cast, would have more than 3 people from their season, they will be in better shape. Denver cast are to weak to take the torch, and Sydney cast seem to hate each other LOL.

I absolutely cannot make a decision without seeing Devyn's capabilities. Nobody can. To be honest, Ev is one of the strongest competitors ever, but doesn't mean she is unbeatable, but doesn't mean she will lose either. Of course the torch will pass, it always has, it always will, but whom will receive it, is indeterminable.

You can't think that judging Dan from The Island is bad but think that judging the cast of Brooklyn off of what they look like is right. I'm only judging Dan from what I've seen. If you think mental is important but think Dan is strong, then you're contradicting yourself. Dan was not mentally prepared to handle that water mission and was not in the right mentality to build alliances where he was an important player. I can't imagine Chet/JD/Devyn/Baya doing well in an elimination. Perhaps they have social skills to make friends but once they step into it, I don't know how they'll do. I would put money on others because I've seen what they are capable of.

Yes. I have spent considerable time with these people so I have a good feel for their relative strength and abilities. Today, Evelyn can beat, head to head, any woman on the Duel II or The Island. Going back to Gauntlet 2, I can think of only one woman who is as strong as Evelyn and has a specific body mass advantage in "Backoff." I believe she could also win again many of the guys who were on the last three challenges.
Strength and agility overcome size when size/mass when it is properly applied to a task involving leverage and one's strength differential is overwhelming.
For Evelyn, her strength ratio vs. Devyn is overwhelming. Devyn does not have the body mass people see to thing she does. I'm 5'10" -185lbs, and she is small next to me. Sarah would actually be a closer match in Backoff than would be Devyn.
What I'd rather see is Evelyn vs. Paula, because after knocking Paula off with her first hit, she would then proceed to give Paula the ass-whipping many think she has earned. Just exuberance in the heat of competition, not "violence"...
I mentioned above that "today" Evelyn would do well against the guys, too, because she has perhaps 30 % more effective muscle mass than she did during The Island (where she actually gained weight). She took this semester off from school to devote herself to serious fitness training for something entirely unrelated to MTV's challenges where her overall fitness against both men and women is critical. (Think "Scott Herman" type training, but more intense.)

How long must I wait for this?

Very well put V. I must agree with everything you said. Overwhelming strength and agility will overcome anyone, even if it is dependent on size.
I third the vote for Paula vs. Ev. Can we petition?:)
Well V1 I have to agree Ev is a "beast," but she isn't the strongest either. Ev even said Paula beat her in some of the Gauntlet 3 missions. Now with Kate on the Brooklyn side, I highly doubt Ev can take her out. Anessa will probably tear Ev into pieces, and if Tori was mentally stable she can beat Ev as well. I'm sorry but I feel like they edit Ev to look like this amazon female, that no one can take out, and I'm not buying it. Rachel in my opinion is better. Either way, back to the topic, the Brooklyn cast IMO seem to be the best candidates to carry the torch, but we will know for sure when they decide to do a challenge. The Pit will be interesting.

I agree with the people you mention being able to give her a run for her money, but it doesn't necessarily mean they can beat her. I think all those could be toss-ups, except for Paula.
And yes the Pit will be interesting.
I'd rather see Paula get taken out by Brooke in the near future. Seems like a more humiliating end, fit for a queen. I mean, "head **** in charge."
On any given day anything can happen...But no way. Nice thought

It seems like you are just ignoring the fact that V1 knows Ev well and just told you otherwise.

Well I have my own opinions. They may not be correct or right, but they still are my opinion.
I'm ready for Evan to pass the torch. He is way too classy for this show.
