When will Fresh Meat/Key West pass the torch?
It seems like ever since The Inferno 3/Gauntlet 3 Fresh Meat and Key West have been running the show.Denver never got their chance to be the veterans as did the Sydney Casts. (Arguably a good thing)But its just annoying to see Evan, Ev, Kenny, Eric, Paula and Johnny controlling pretty much the challenges for the past 2 years.I even hate them more than when Xtreme/San Diego were taking charge... remember how much people hated Kina and Derricks power trips then.In general is anyone else tired of when rookies become cocky when there Vets?I'm just dreading the challenges where Dunbar, Jenn, Derrek, Tori ect start to run things.Thank goodness Austin never had its chance... though it would be cool to see Wes in charge.Point blank.... which group of future challenge *****s do you think Fresh Meat/Key West will eventually pass their torches too?
I'd say maybe The Hollywood/Brooklyn crew. Just a wild guess.
They would have the best shot IMO.
Probably Hollywood, yeah. Let's see if the cancun kids are any good.
I can't imagine anyone from Hollywood besides maybe Kim and Joey performing as well as the Veterans or some of the Fresh Meat kids. Key Westers aren't very good. I don't think many from Brooklyn could either. Ryan might because of being a soldier, but that is just a maybe, and I don't think he'll be on a challenge cause of Iraq. Scott maybe but I can't really picture him doing a challenge. I don't think there will be another Fresh Meat and with only Real Worlders coming in, there will be very little amount of rookies coming in. So maybe then can just keep casting cool veterans... that doesn't include Evan, Kenny, etc.

At some point they're gonna move on and people are going to take their place so I believe that Brooklyn and Hollywood (maybe Sydeny and Denver they're still up in the air) will ban together and start taking over maybe. We'll see what happens.
Paula and Johnny are the only 2 Key Westers that do the challenges non stop. Janelle and Tyler have been on 2. Zach and Svetlana have done 1. It would be good to see them back on! and Jose hasn't done one. I would like to see what he has to offer.
Why does everybody think the torch will skip over Denver/Sydney to Hollywood/Brooklyn. Let's be real, the guys from Hollywood haven't been very competitive on these things. I don't think Nick would have been able to get in the big alliance with a good hand anyway. Say what you want but the ladies of Sydney have made these last two challenges. The Island was bad, but imagine it without KellyAnne. And, then you've got this last Aftershow with Shauvon. You mix those girls with the Brooklyn guys, and that has potential to be a damn good show.
It just seems like the Xtreme/San Diego Era didnt last long. Probably because Brad and Robin joined forces with Paris, Fresh Meat and Key West.

People get older and have lives. Most of the older cast members have moved on and have more important things to do with their lives. I think that we all just need to realize that this is a new generation of people. I would also love to see the true vets come back but we need to realize that its just not going to happen. We may see a couple here or there, but we are never going to have another cast like Battle of the Seasons, Battle of The Sexes, or the first Gauntlet and Inferno's.
I think people would be able to live just fine without older members IF Fresh Meat and PAula/Johnny dont come back again.Brooklyn is a waste challenge wise. The only one I can see becoming a ***** is JD. -----Had Brianna not had as much succes as she is having she could have become a *****.

Oh and Derrick seems like a challenge favorite, I don't know anyone who dislikes him. Same thing with Brad. I don't know what your talking about with the "San Diego Era" considering the only two people from that cast who have been actively doing challenges are Robin and Brad. Johnny Bananas only really ran things on the Island. Paula and Johnny are also the only ones actively doing challenges from that cast. Tyler didn't last long enough on both challenges he did. Svet and Zach only did one. Janelle doesn't seem to really bother anyone, and we have never seen Jose on a challenge.
and we have never seen Jose on a challenge.
I wonder why that is. I remember him expressing interest in doing one. I want see him on one with JD. Jose looks like he has some inner zestiness just waiting to creep out. And, I'm sure JD would serve up the tea accordingly when it happens.
Hence why they are the Fresh Meat with Key West Alliances.(Evan, Kenny, Evelyn, Eric, Johnny, Paula) and at times Paris joins them as well (CT and Adam). And the only fit people from Brooklyn are Scott and JD. I see ZERO of the girls doing a challenge.

People move on. We can't keep wishing and hoping for the old vets to come back. This is a whole new generation of Veterans and Rookies and people are just going to have to come to terms with that and let go of the past.

Shauvon does not seem athletic it all. We have never seen Parisa and Trisha. KA was entertaining but the Island was a ****** challenge. How are the sydney girls making the challenges? Btw, Nick looks very athletic. He almost beat Ryan, with a broken hand.
I can't imagine anyone from Hollywood besides maybe Kim and Joey performing as well as the Veterans or some of the Fresh Meat kids.
I disagree. Dave has said that he played many highschool sports. Also, brittini is doing well in this challenge. Plus, Scott and towards the end, Ryan were always working out on Brooklyn. Ryan also said that he had to carry 40 pound bags on his back for long distances.

Katelyn would be one of the one possibilities for the women. Her, Scott and JD are the only ones I can see. Sarah seems like she will be like a Lacy or Frankie and just fade out after RW. Baya was a wall flower like a Brynn.Devyn may do one.. but she wont do well and wont be seen again.
Doesn't it feel like we are beating a dead horse?
Yes it does. A little bit.

And, who gives a flying flip if Shauvon is athletic? I'm trying to watch a reality show not the Olympics. We've never seen the Brooklyn crew. You can only go off what've see soo far. And, so far the Denver/Sydney crew has been more fun to watch versus the Hollywood crew. Hell, the guys from Hollywood can't even make it to the third episode. And, just because the Island was ****** does that make KA any less entertaining??? No, I don't think it does. She definitely help spice up the Reunion. And, for it being such a ****** challenge their Reunion was 10x better than Hollywood and Brooklyn's. BTW, Nick does look very athletic. You know what else? I had a Whooper for lunch that LOOKED tasty, but alas it wasn't.

Based on his interviews during the reunion, he seems like some1 who can't live without the RW.

I know we have never seen the Brooklyn crew in challenges, you were one saying that were a waste. I disagree. As for Hollywood, Nick would have beaten Ryan if it wasn't for his hand/arm (whatever the injury was). I don't ever want to see Shauvon on my TV screen again, she should be on rock of love. I liked the Brooklyn reunion.
I can see Chet doing quite a few. Based on his interviews during the reunion, he seems like some1 who can't live without the RW.
Then Chet will = Ace or Tyrie. I just cant see him doing well.
I think eventually everyone fades and their time to leave will come.
Do you think that, years from now, people will long for the "good ol' days" when Paula, Robin, Evan, Kenny, etc. were on challenges the way people, now, long for the "good ol' days" when Veronica, Miz, etc. were on challenges?

Older fans will still cherish the olden days.
