Congrats to Cam Gigandet!! :) BTW, I don't know if you know this, but he was originally cast as Emmett. He asked Catherine Hardwick if he could play James instead. He should have stayed with Emmett. Now, he's not going to be in the other films. :(
Yeah, but he gets to spend lots of time with his new baby. Plus, Kellan Lutz is fun to look at.
Good point. :girl_sigh:
mmmm, yes very good point. I wonder if Cam asked to play James for another reason, like He had other projects lined up perhaps, he has 6 movies that are still in post production and 1 that has already released earlier this year... from imdb.com:

Pinkville (2011) (announced) .... Twilight would've started filming before he knew his girlfriend was pregnant, but it definitely helps to not be tied down for a certain number of movies.

PS...people.com has some wonderful pictures of the cast posted...I will look for the link.

oh shit...that is not good...I wonder why it isn't all over internet like MTV and stuff though? I hope it doesn't shut production down completely...that would suck...BUT it would be good for Bacchus...plenty of jokes to come from that happening. :)

Why is this lady coming forward just now? How long ago were the books published? Hasn't it been like 4 years?!?! I'm calling BS on this story.
Why is this lady coming forward just now?
Oh, no doubt not a word of this rumor is true, but it was fully worth posting just for the priceless reactions from the Twihards. :diablo:

lol I thought the article was believable :D
Haha...so vevmo sends updates to my email nightly on this thread, which popped up on my blackberry during dinner with my husband tonight. I told him what B posted, and that it was really scary if it was true....then my husband admitted he's a bit jealous of Bacchus because I am always telling him about something he posts on here! Haha...

I am flustered right now.... I just started to read Nora Roberts' Birthright, and the first three words of the book are "Douglas Edward Cullen". Now I can't read the damn book without thinking of Twilight!!! So weird.... especially since the character is a preschooler...

Which book was written first?
Which book was written first?
The one by Heidi Stanton at BYU, why?
Birthright was copyrighted in 2003, Twilight in 2005... they both happen to be on my desk right now, LOL. Got through that part though and it's following diff characters in Birthright, so I'm good until he pops up again grown up... Then I'll be thinking about RPatz, which isn't a bad mental image, LOL. I had to laugh that it took this lady 4 years to come forward- it's not a book you don't hear about!!! Money talks I guess...

I liked Twilight better when it wasn't a movie. Everything is taking away the magic of the book.
I liked Twilight better when it wasn't a movie. Everything is taking away the magic of the book.
I disagree - I felt that the movie brought to life the magic of the book. The casting was dead-on - I felt like every character in the book came to life in true form. The visuals were absolutely beautiful and the screenplay stayed mostly true to the book. The only negative thing about the movie was the pacing - I thought it was a little TOO fast - it was like I started watching it, really got into it, and then bang - we're at the meadow scene where James and his Coven breaks up the ballgame. I can remember thinking "woa, we're here already." The movie could have easily been 20 minutes longer. I also felt like the evending events were rushed. Overall, I thought the movie was fantastic. I cannot wait until New Moon comes out in November. I have read all for of the books (Twilight twice and I'm currently reading New Moon for the second time as well). I cannot wait until Breaking Dawn is made so I can meet little Reneesme!! oh and btw - I'm not a teenage girl either lol
