K I'm probably alone here, but I kinda felt bad for Shauvon, not sure why, but I did. I felt through out the second heat of that Duel Aneesa was gonna smack Shauvon with the metal hook haha. Then the thing when nobody would give her a hug, that kinda made me feel sorry for her.
I really don't like MJ right now, he's got the Evan thing going. This whole thing is ridiculous. They need to go back to the first Duel's rules and pick right after the mission instead of this deliberation time.
That is sad that nobody would hug her. I didn't even notice that. I think it might be nice for her to do the next challenge and see if things change for her in the RW/RR (and FM) circle socially, without the whole situation involving CT/Diem as her backdrop.
I don't have an issue with MJ (at least right now). It is on Robin, Evan, Paula, and whoever else if they decided to change their plans to let MJ in. Evan allowed Robin to pick MJ first last time even though he was not a part of his alliance. Either MJ is good at persuading people, these people are nervous and think they need someone else in their alliance, or they don't want to go against him. It's kind of interesting that they decided to add MJ in and let that through a wrench in their plans.
Also, what is up with people, during picking, saying out loud they are voting for someone because they are in their gameplan or they were asked to vote for them? Nobody wants to at least try to be discreet? I know most know what's going on, but it's still kind of odd to me.
Go MJ!

Did you hear Robin? "Do I go for an easy target or do I take out someone strong?"
Haha so she's so sure she can take out anybody in the game? And I really don't like MJ at all, it's not that I like Ryan, but he's sooo much better than MJ
How come Paula is being looked at as a target now, when she kind of did the same thing Evan did? I know Evan was called out several times for being shady after picking MJ. But Paula switched up the vote this one time as well, and now they are looking at her as someone who is out, whereas with Evan, it seemed they just called him out but didn't think to exclude him. I do think she should have voted for Ryan before Dunbar, but we can all guess what she was thinking about there.
Still, Paula is not really at fault for Ryan getting picked for the duel, IMO (if I'm understanding correctly). Since people were calling him the weakest, he was bound to get called out again unless someone who really liked him were left at the end of the chain.
Also, like I said in The Dailies thread, if people have such issues with Evan and Paula running things, take things into their own hands.
I am still not too fond of The Duel game format.
I really don't think it's such a big deal who they pick. This show makes me feel like I'm in 9th grade PE again. It's silly. Just pick someone!!!
I know its ridiculous!
Aw now I feel bad for Robin too, I always like her and (unlike ALOT of other people) want to keep seeing her. Her friends didn't really have her back tonight, so I dont blame her for feeling cheated.
Well, Robin, you were not in their alliance, and I don't think they were plotting against you. You were in alliances in past challenges and got rid of people - and you did that to your friends or people you were being really chummy with! Let's see, that's three people from G3 who were a part of that shady vet alliance that are gone early. Fine by me. I used to root for Robin in the earlier challenges she did, too. I would not have had a problem with her winning over Kim, but after G3 I don't mind her losing.
I am happy MJ won over Ryan.
Hush Evan, because you started things off first by letting Robin pick MJ. Don't put it all on Paula. You both went against your alliance pickings.
I wish Landon, Brad, and company would just forget Evan and Paula and work with the other people in the alliance over them. Who says Evan and Paula have to be in charge, and why would people, especially people who have been doing these challenges years before them, let them be in charged Boggles the mind, just like the super alliance on The Island. Everyone can't be in an alliance, either.

I like Evan.
I dunno if anyone else will find this interesting, but Jimmy Fallon just tweeted and said he's watching The Duel II.

There is an item added in the spoiler discussion thread that responds to your initial point.

Well, I don't think he should just make it look like Paula was changing up the picking when he did it himself. I can understand him wondering what was happening, but what he said made it seem as if he hadn't done the same thing the mission before. I guess he just felt the pressure and wanted to ensure that things would go as planned this time since he got so much flack for the last lineup change. But still, both of them "messed up" the lineup once.
You know, I actually kind of felt people were worrying too much when they were calling out Evan for picking MJ, because their alliance was still intact and they made sure they knew the picking order to that would ensure the alliance was protected. I almost was thinking it was unnecessary for them to keep badgering Evan about it (Landon in particular called him out a couple of times). But I did see the alliance members' point about the lineup changing without consultation after thinking about it more. It definitely is odd Evan let MJ be picked first so easily.

I know Evan is all kinds of shady but I've always liked him. Maybe it was because he was Coral's partner in fresh meat, and I'm sure everybody here knows how I feel about Coral.
It also seems as if people are letting Evan run everything. It seems he's the person everyone goes to if something goes wrong so I can't blame everying on Evan. It kinda seems as if Mark and Brad are doing the same thing but Evans more outspoken about it. I hope that made sense.
