Why was Robin calling out to Anessa to help her? As Anessa said, she was too far away. And I would have guessed that she wouldn't have been allowed to help anyway, unless I missed a part of the rules.
They had to sit on a block of ice in Battle of the Sexes for hours. On G3 they had that "freezer" mission as well. I'd think those two were worse, although the New Zealand climate was cold as well as the room and ice, so that definitely was something different from past seasons.
Happy that Landon or Mark will end up winning the mission.

During The Island she did... They got back together... Their relationship didn't survive The Duel, although I've heard it was a "no fault" ending.
His ex, Julie, is a member here.

She seemed like a really nice girl.
I would like another host as well. In the past things were mixed up a little more...
I don't know if I would necessarily call Ryan the weakest of the game, though I definitely don't see him as strong.
I noticed the "picking" on Robin as well, and I was surprised to see it, but she does act paranoid on these challenges sometimes. I don't think they were wrong about that, although I was surprised to see those who were talking about her doing so. I am also surprised to see her on the outside of alliances.
Why are they stressing about the picking? Anyone can get called into the duel except for the winners.
I don't know if you have been watching the dailies or not, but that's all that's been happening this week. People are constantly talking about alliances and calling out people for being shady or doing something wrong.
Why are they allowing MJ to be picked early if he just walked into the game (at the mission on ep. 1), and he was not a part of the plans? It's really silly to me, though I am glad MJ is able to get in with people to save himself. It looks to me like Paula is trying to work an alliance from a different standpoint from Evan, actually.
K I'm probably alone here, but I kinda felt bad for Shauvon, not sure why, but I did. I felt through out the second heat of that Duel Aneesa was gonna smack Shauvon with the metal hook haha. Then the thing when nobody would give her a hug, that kinda made me feel sorry for her.
I really don't like MJ right now, he's got the Evan thing going. This whole thing is ridiculous. They need to go back to the first Duel's rules and pick right after the mission instead of this deliberation time.

But you don't want to be the last male/female standing because you then must call someone out, and it you send that person home then you have the rest of their alliance to contend with. You are better off to be in the middle and outside of as much drama as possible.

I think that her paranoia is part of the reason. She's seen as a liability when she's like that. Well, I would see her as a liability.

I understand but it seems a little early for all this drama.
Would it not have been better for TJ to have started the picking within seconds of Mark and Rachel's win at the ice rink. It would better attack/reveal the true alliances. I'm sure BMP thought this would be more interesting with all the discussions. It wasn't interesting for me.
This is what Paula gets for aligning herself with too many people. And I agree with V1. Picking immediately after the game doesn't allow for scheming and would spice things up.

I think your suggested strategy would allow for more drama outside of the challenges. More backstabbing, more bickering, the kind of stuff that makes these challenges...

Perhaps, but you have to remember that the game started at least a month before the challenge for most of these people-- at the first phone call from a casting associate. They have been in alliance building and exploitation mode for weeks.
I think Evan is letting MJ into his alliance so if MJ would go into a duel early he wouldn't call any of the stronger guys out. I thought Diem would be in Evan's alliance for sure.
