I think I might have felt that way as well. I was thinking it looked better at first, but I don't think I remembered that they just showed a few competitors before going into the chant. I was kind of thinking they edited it differently, but then the chanting appeared and it was still not good.

Yeah, that's ridiculous, not only because it's coming from her, but because Shauvon shouldn't be at fault for that situation, I feel. She was a newbie anyway, with fewer connections, so she could have been at the end regardless.
Ryan, no need to brag over your win over Nick since his hand was broken. That doesn't mean he would not have had a chance if Nick's hand wasn't broken, but obviously there was a chance that Nick could have done much better if his hand wasn't broken.

I've heard that most of the cast thought the opening was incredibly stupid. If I recall correctly, they took two days to shoot it.

When you think about all that went into it....the choreography, memorizing the lines.
It's just too much.
I keep waiting to see one of them burst out laughing. I'm surprised it didn't take longer to shoot, but two days doesn't surprise me. I'm sure it took a long time to get shots of them looking so serious.
I agree that it makes me feel embarrassed for them. Like I said last week, I feel uncomfortable watching it!
