Hollywood Movies: Recommendations and Discussion
So as of recently I now have someone who is constantly burning movies and giving me copies. I now have more movies than I know what to do with stockpiled up, and as I don't even know what half of them are about I am not sure where to start. I have a few days off after tomorrow and was planning on chilling in and getting started, maybe someone around here can point me in the right direction of which ones they have seen and liked/disliked. I have The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Push Taken NIghts in Rodanthe Bride Wars Gran Torino Twilight Underworld 3 88 Minutes Role Models Step Brothers Valcorey (sp?) Notorious Mall Cop and a lot of random ****. Okay, not really. ;) Seriously though, if anyone can give me a heads up of either where to start or what not to bother with I'd appreciate it immensely! :)
I saw Step Brothers and thought it was hilarious. I'm a huge Will Ferrell fan though, so if you don't like his humor, you might not find it interesting.
I like Will Ferrell, so I will put that at the top of my list out of the comedies I have. Tonight I think I'm gonna do the chick flick thing and watch Bride Wars...... yes, that is my final decision on where to begin. I feel good about this. ;)
I heard Bride Wars was ok, but they put the majority of the good parts in the trailer.
I Heard Gran Turino is a great movie.

Foot Fist Way. You probably haven't heard of it but it's hilarious!
Taken is a really good movie!

I'd really like to see Taken!
I'd really like to see Taken!
You should ;-). You won't be disappointed.
So Bride Wars was what I pretty much expected, an easy to watch predictable chick flick that was cute. Kind of what I was in the mood for. Plus it has that super HAWT guy from the movie Prime and who was on One Tree Hill back in the day that I lust after. I think maybe tomorrow I will go with Gran Torino. Nothing like a Clint Eastwood movie on Valentine's Day. ;)
I watched Taken!!!! It is SUCH a good movie, I really liked it a lot!!!!!!

If you have time, I saw He's Just Not That Into You last night...not a bad movie, but I hated the ending! Worth seeing though, if it's free for you :)

It honestly depends what you enjoy. Personally, I would suggest 50/50, Requiem for a Dream, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Zombieland.
I think I'll watch Fight Club tonight.

I never got to finish it though. I kinda liked what i saw so far but am not sure im compelled to keep watching though. But if you say its good, i will. After Fight Club though.
